Na Skraju

Ursynów-Centrum, also known as South Ursynów, is a neighbourhood, and a City Information System area, located in Warsaw, Poland, within the district of Ursynów.It consists of two multifamily housing neighbourhoods, Imielin to the west, and Na Skraju to the east. There are located Polish Inventors Park and the Imielin station of the Warsaw Metro rapit transit system. Among notable landmarks, there are Multikino Ursynów multiplex, KEN Center shopping mall, and Catholic Church of Thomas the Apostle.At the end of the 14th century or beginning of the 15th century, in the area were founded two small farming communities, Imielin to the west, and Wolica (historically known as Wola Służewska) to the east. They were owned and inhabited by petty nobility. They were incorporated into Warsaw in 1951. Between 1976 and 1981, there was constructed the residencial area of South Ursynów, conistsing of two multifamily housing neighbourhoods, Imielin to the west, and Na Skraju to the east.

Metro Imielin is a station on Line M1 of the Warsaw Metro, located in the Imielin neighbourhood of the Ursynów district in south Warsaw at the junction of Aleja KEN and Indira Gandhi Street. The station was opened on 7 April 1995 as part of the inaugural stretch of the Warsaw Metro, between Kabaty and Politechnika.

The Warsaw University of Life Sciences (Polish: Szkoła Główna Gospodarstwa Wiejskiego, lit. 'Main School of Rural Homestead', SGGW) is the largest agricultural university in Poland, established in 1816 in Warsaw. It employs over 2,600 staff including over 1,200 academic educators. The University is since 2005 a member of the Euroleague for Life Sciences (ELLS) which was established in 2001. The SGGW offers some 37 different fields of study, 13 faculties in Agricultural Sciences, Economic Sciences, Humanities, Technical as well as Life Sciences

The Stanisław Staszic Monument (Polish: Pomnik Stanisława Staszica) is a memorial in Warsaw, Poland, placed at the campus of the Warsaw University of Life Sciences, at 159 Nowoursynowska Street, in the neighbourhood of Stary Służew within the district of Ursynów. It is dedicated to Stanisław Staszic, a leading figure of the Polish Enlightenment in the 18th century, a writer, activist, geologist and geographer. The monument consists of a bust carved into a side of a large rock. It was made by sculptor Stanisław Lipski and unveiled in 1976 in front of the Primate Palace at 13/15 Senatorska Street, before being moved to its current location in 2007.

Imielin is a housing estate in the Ursynów district of Warsaw, Poland, within the City Information System area of Ursynów-Centrum. Its a high-rise multifamily residential area. It includes the Imielin station of the Warsaw Metro rapit transit system. The area was developed between 1976 and 1981.

Stary Służew is a neighbourhood, and a City Information System area, located in Warsaw, Poland, within the district of Ursynów.The area is dominated by single-family housing with an additional presence of multifamily housing. It includes the historical portion of the neighbourhood of Służew, including 19th-century Krasiński Palace, Catholic Church of St. Catherine, and Fort VIII if the Warsaw Fortress. There is also located the campus of the Warsaw University of Life Sciences.Służew dates back to at least 13th century, when it was a small farming community. In 1238 there was founded the Church of St. Catherine (later rebuiltin thr 19th century), with its parish becoming the oldest parish within current boundaries of Warsaw. In 1245 the village became property of knight Gotard of Służew, whose descendants formed the Służewiecki family of the Radwan heraldic clan, whom owned this land until the 17th century. In 1776 there was constructed the Krasiński Palace. Służew was incorporated into Qarsaw in 1938. In 1956, there was established the campu of the Warsaw University of Life Sciences, which was then furtherly expected in the 1960s, 1970s, and 2000s.

The Maria Sklodowska-Curie National Research Institute of Oncology (Polish: Narodowy Instytut Onkologii im. Marii Skłodowskiej-Curie – Państwowy Instytut Badawczy, until 2020 Maria Skłodowska-Curie Institute of Oncology, Polish: Centrum Onkologii–Instytut im. Marii Skłodowskiej-Curie) is a specialized research institute and hospital of the Polish Ministry of Health. Based in Warsaw, it also has regional branches in Gliwice and Kraków. It was founded in 1932 as the Radium Institute by double-Nobel laureate Maria Skłodowska-Curie in collaboration with the Polish Government, especially President Ignacy Mościcki.

The Expressway S2 Tunnel in Warsaw (Polish: Tunel drogi ekspresowej S2 w Warszawie) or Ursynów Tunnel (Polish: Tunel pod Ursynowem) is a highway tunnel, part of the S2 expressway in Warsaw.The tunnel opened on December 20, 2021.As of end of 2021, the tunnel is the longest road tunnel in Poland. From the west, the tunnel entry begins at Węzeł Ursynów Zachód junction. In the east, the tunnel joins the Węzeł Ursynów Wschód junction.

Expressway S2 is a short highway in Poland, serving as the southern section of the (partially completed) Warsaw Express Ring Road. Conceptually forming one continuous route with motorway A2, it was initially planned (since 1970s) as a part of it, however after local Warsaw residents objected to the plans of an inner-city motorway, the proposed road was downgraded to an expressway (though the actual route was not changed). The western half of the road was opened to traffic in 2013, while the eastern half was opened in 2020 and 2021.

The Krasiński Palace, also known as the Ursynów Palace, and Delight Palace, is a Renaissance Revival palace in Warsaw, Poland, located at 166 Nowoursynowska Street within the district of Ursynów. It was constructed in its current form between 1858 and 1860 for Krasiński family and designed by architect Zygmunt Rospendowski. The original place was built there in 1776 for the Potocki family. It is part of the campus of the Warsaw University of Life Sciences.

Imielin is a neighbourhood in Warsaw, Poland, located within the district of Ursynów, in the City Information System areas of Stary Imielin and Ursynów-Centrum. The area is divided into two multifamily housing neighbourhoods, Imielin and West Ursynów.There are located numerous medical facilities, including Maria Skłodowska-Curie National Research Institute of Oncology, the Institute of Hematology and Transfusion Medicine, and the Southern Hospital. There is also Imielin station of the Warsaw Metro rapit transit system.The oldest known records of the village of Imielin come from 1422 It was incorporated into Warsaw in 1951. Between 1976 and 1981, there were constructed two residential neighbourhoods, Imielin and West Ursynów, mostly consisting of the multifamily housing. Between 1979 and 1997, there was constructed the medical complex of the Maria Skłodowska-Curie National Research Institute of Oncology.

Metro Stokłosy is a station on Line M1 of the Warsaw Metro, located in the Stokłosy neighbourhood of the Ursynów district in south Warsaw at the junction of Aleja KEN, Herbsta Street and Jarzębowskiego Street. It is situated between Imielin and Ursynów stations. The station was opened on 7 April 1995 as part of the inaugural stretch of the Warsaw Metro, between Kabaty and Politechnika.
