Expressway S2 (Poland)

The Expressway S2 Tunnel in Warsaw (Polish: Tunel drogi ekspresowej S2 w Warszawie) or Ursynów Tunnel (Polish: Tunel pod Ursynowem) is a highway tunnel, part of the S2 expressway in Warsaw.The tunnel opened on December 20, 2021.As of end of 2021, the tunnel is the longest road tunnel in Poland. From the west, the tunnel entry begins at Węzeł Ursynów Zachód junction. In the east, the tunnel joins the Węzeł Ursynów Wschód junction.

Wyżyny is a neighbourhood in Warsaw, Poland, located in the district of Ursynów, within the City Information System area of Natolin. It consists of a housing estate of multifamily residential buildings. It was developed in the 1980s.

Natolin is a residential neighborhood in Ursynów, the southernmost district of Warsaw. Until the 1980s, Natolin and its neighbouring area Wolica, was a small village located right outside the city limits, with numerous orchards. After that it was urbanized with large blocks of flats. Now Natolin is a modern part of Warsaw with many shops, restaurants and houses. Natolin is home to one of the two campuses of the College of Europe.

The Maria Sklodowska-Curie National Research Institute of Oncology (Polish: Narodowy Instytut Onkologii im. Marii Skłodowskiej-Curie – Państwowy Instytut Badawczy, until 2020 Maria Skłodowska-Curie Institute of Oncology, Polish: Centrum Onkologii–Instytut im. Marii Skłodowskiej-Curie) is a specialized research institute and hospital of the Polish Ministry of Health. Based in Warsaw, it also has regional branches in Gliwice and Kraków. It was founded in 1932 as the Radium Institute by double-Nobel laureate Maria Skłodowska-Curie in collaboration with the Polish Government, especially President Ignacy Mościcki.

Metro Natolin is a station on Line M1 of the Warsaw Metro, located in the Natolin neighbourhood of the Ursynów district in the south of Warsaw at the junction of Aleja KEN and Belgradzka. It is near Galeria Ursynów, a small local shopping centre and a local shopping street. The station was opened on 7 April 1995 as part of the inaugural stretch of the Warsaw Metro, between Kabaty and Politechnika.

The station was opened on 7 April 1995 as part of the inaugural stretch of the Warsaw Metro, between Kabaty and Politechnika.

The Birch Woods Park (Polish: Park Lasek Brzozowy) is an urban park and a small woodland area in Warsaw, Poland, within the district of Ursynów. It is located in the neighbourhood of Natolin, between Komisji Edukacji Narodowej Avenue, Belgradzka Street, and Lanciego Street.

Belgradzka Street (Polish: Ulica Belgradzka; lit. Belgrade Street) is a street in Warsaw, in the district of Ursynów, running through the neighbourhood of Natolin, between Nowoursynowska and Stryjeńskich Streets.

Stryjeńskich Street (Polish: ulica Stryjeńskich) is one of the three main thoroughfares of Warsaw's borough of Ursynów. It links Płaskowickiej Street on the north with Wąwozowa Street on the west. The name commemorates the Stryjeński family: Zofia, Aleksander, Karol and Tadeusz. The street was planned in the 1970s and opened ten years later – the name of the avenue appears on the Warsaw maps in 1980. The name of the street was given in 1977. Nowadays, it crosses local streets: Przy Bażantarni, Małej Łąki, Moczydłowska, Belgradzka, Kazury and Na Uboczu. In 2015, the street was designed to be blinkered to the only pass in the both directions (on the length from Przy Bażantarni to Belgradzka Streets). It was also said that two zebra crossings will be prepared. The project, which was lodged in the Participatory budgeting, caused controversies and was rejected by the authorities of Ursynów. Nearby the street there are located: the local park Moczydełko, two churches and one primary school (in the vicinity of the cross with the Na Uboczu Street).

Filipiny Płaskowickiej street (Polish: ulica Filipiny Płaskowickiej) is a thoroughfare which links the west and the east of Ursynów. It starts nearby the Nowoursynowska and crosses: Rosoła, Cynamonowa, Lanciego, Komisji Edukacji Narodowej, Dereniowa, Stryjeńskich, Pileckiego, Polskie Drogi and Roentgena. It has its end in the crossing with Puławska. Since 2017, the street is being rebuilt because of the construction project of the Expressway S2 including tunnel under Płaskowickiej.

Ursynów-Centrum, also known as South Ursynów, is a neighbourhood, and a City Information System area, located in Warsaw, Poland, within the district of Ursynów.It consists of two multifamily housing neighbourhoods, Imielin to the west, and Na Skraju to the east. There are located Polish Inventors Park and the Imielin station of the Warsaw Metro rapit transit system. Among notable landmarks, there are Multikino Ursynów multiplex, KEN Center shopping mall, and Catholic Church of Thomas the Apostle.At the end of the 14th century or beginning of the 15th century, in the area were founded two small farming communities, Imielin to the west, and Wolica (historically known as Wola Służewska) to the east. They were owned and inhabited by petty nobility. They were incorporated into Warsaw in 1951. Between 1976 and 1981, there was constructed the residencial area of South Ursynów, conistsing of two multifamily housing neighbourhoods, Imielin to the west, and Na Skraju to the east.

Imielin is a housing estate in the Ursynów district of Warsaw, Poland, within the City Information System area of Ursynów-Centrum. Its a high-rise multifamily residential area. It includes the Imielin station of the Warsaw Metro rapit transit system. The area was developed between 1976 and 1981.
