Krasiński Palace (Ursynów)

The Warsaw University of Life Sciences (Polish: Szkoła Główna Gospodarstwa Wiejskiego, lit. 'Main School of Rural Homestead', SGGW) is the largest agricultural university in Poland, established in 1816 in Warsaw. It employs over 2,600 staff including over 1,200 academic educators. The University is since 2005 a member of the Euroleague for Life Sciences (ELLS) which was established in 2001. The SGGW offers some 37 different fields of study, 13 faculties in Agricultural Sciences, Economic Sciences, Humanities, Technical as well as Life Sciences

Stary Służew is a neighbourhood, and a City Information System area, located in Warsaw, Poland, within the district of Ursynów.The area is dominated by single-family housing with an additional presence of multifamily housing. It includes the historical portion of the neighbourhood of Służew, including 19th-century Krasiński Palace, Catholic Church of St. Catherine, and Fort VIII if the Warsaw Fortress. There is also located the campus of the Warsaw University of Life Sciences.Służew dates back to at least 13th century, when it was a small farming community. In 1238 there was founded the Church of St. Catherine (later rebuiltin thr 19th century), with its parish becoming the oldest parish within current boundaries of Warsaw. In 1245 the village became property of knight Gotard of Służew, whose descendants formed the Służewiecki family of the Radwan heraldic clan, whom owned this land until the 17th century. In 1776 there was constructed the Krasiński Palace. Służew was incorporated into Qarsaw in 1938. In 1956, there was established the campu of the Warsaw University of Life Sciences, which was then furtherly expected in the 1960s, 1970s, and 2000s.

The Służew Old Cemetery (Polish: Stary cmentarz na Służewie) is a Roman Catholic cemetery in the area of Stary Służew in the Ursynów district of Warsaw, Poland. The cemetery is located next to the presbytery of St Catherine's Church at 17 Fosa Street.

St Catherine's Church (and parish) in Warsaw, is located in the Ursynów district near Służew. The parish is the oldest existing parish, although not the oldest church, within the current borders of Warsaw. It was founded about half a century before Warsaw's Old Town.

Na Skraju is a neighbourhood in Warsaw, Poland, located within the district of Ursynów, in the eastern portion of the City Information System area of Ursynów-Centrum.It is a residencial area, mostly consisting of multifamily housing, with a small portion of single-family housing in the east. There are located Polish Inventors Park and the Imielin station of the Warsaw Metro rapit transit system. Among notable landmarks, there are the Multikino Ursynów multiplex, and the KEN Center shopping mall.In the 14th century, there was founded the village of Wolica (historically known as Wola Służewska), which was owned and inhabited by petty nobility. the area was incorporated into Warsaw in 1951. The neighbourhood of Na Skraju was constructed between 1976 and 1981, particularly including historical land of Wolica.

Ursynów-Centrum, also known as South Ursynów, is a neighbourhood, and a City Information System area, located in Warsaw, Poland, within the district of Ursynów.It consists of two multifamily housing neighbourhoods, Imielin to the west, and Na Skraju to the east. There are located Polish Inventors Park and the Imielin station of the Warsaw Metro rapit transit system. Among notable landmarks, there are Multikino Ursynów multiplex, KEN Center shopping mall, and Catholic Church of Thomas the Apostle.At the end of the 14th century or beginning of the 15th century, in the area were founded two small farming communities, Imielin to the west, and Wolica (historically known as Wola Służewska) to the east. They were owned and inhabited by petty nobility. They were incorporated into Warsaw in 1951. Between 1976 and 1981, there was constructed the residencial area of South Ursynów, conistsing of two multifamily housing neighbourhoods, Imielin to the west, and Na Skraju to the east.

Stegny is a neighborhood in Mokotów district of Warsaw, Poland. It is primarily residential, with several small retail centers and "convenience" shops including small grocery stores, butchers shops, bakeries, and the like. Stegny is characterized by its many concrete high-rise apartment buildings, constructed during the 1970s under Communist rule. These building are so alike in appearance that they have been painted various colors to allow local residents to tell them apart. Additionally, there are several apartment blocks of only five stories and many newer single-family townhouses that have been built since the 1990s.

The Maria Sklodowska-Curie National Research Institute of Oncology (Polish: Narodowy Instytut Onkologii im. Marii Skłodowskiej-Curie – Państwowy Instytut Badawczy, until 2020 Maria Skłodowska-Curie Institute of Oncology, Polish: Centrum Onkologii–Instytut im. Marii Skłodowskiej-Curie) is a specialized research institute and hospital of the Polish Ministry of Health. Based in Warsaw, it also has regional branches in Gliwice and Kraków. It was founded in 1932 as the Radium Institute by double-Nobel laureate Maria Skłodowska-Curie in collaboration with the Polish Government, especially President Ignacy Mościcki.

Metro Imielin is a station on Line M1 of the Warsaw Metro, located in the Imielin neighbourhood of the Ursynów district in south Warsaw at the junction of Aleja KEN and Indira Gandhi Street. The station was opened on 7 April 1995 as part of the inaugural stretch of the Warsaw Metro, between Kabaty and Politechnika.

Polskie Nagrania "Muza" ("Polish Records 'Muse' ", official name since 2005: "Polskie Nagrania Sp. z o.o", i.e., Polskie Nagrania Ltd.) is a Polish record label based in Warsaw. It has produced records in many genres including pop, rock, jazz, folklore, classical, children. Until its purchase by Warner Music Poland in 2015, for €1.9 million, the label was owned by the Polish government.The label was established in 1956 after the merger of the vinyl record factory Muza and the record house Polskie Nagrania (with the history of the latter traced to the Interbellum times). It also produced musical literature. In addition to its own vinyl record factory, it also used the factories of Pronit and Veriton.

Stokłosy is a residential neighborhood in the Ursynów district of Warsaw, Poland. Stokłosy is located within the area of the Municipal Information System of Northern Ursynów (Ursynów Północny). According to the State Register of Geographical Names, the residential neighborhood is a part of the city with the ID number 131429. Its area is run by, among others Jastrzębowski, Stokłosa, Zamiany, Béla Bartók, Bacewiczówna and the Union of Youth Struggle (Związki Walki Młodych) Streets. Stokłosy is an area with a predominance of multi-family housing.

Vistula University (VU; Polish: Akademia Finansów i Biznesu Vistula) is a non-public academic higher education institution based in Warsaw, Poland. It was established in 1992 as the University of Insurance and Banking. Its branch since 2019, is Aleksander Gieysztor Academy of Humanities in Pułtusk. Vistula University has achieved its current status through dynamic development and cooperation with other non-public higher education institutions.
