Lochem is a railway station just north of Lochem, Netherlands. The station opened on 1 November 1865 and is located on the Zutphen–Glanerbeek railway (Staatslijn D). The services are operated by Syntus. The station is located on the opposite side of the Twentekanaal to Lochem, but is a short walk or bus ride.

Ampsen (Dutch pronunciation: [ˈɑmp.sə(n)]) is an estate, castle, and hamlet in the municipality of Lochem in the province of Gelderland in the Netherlands. Administratively, it is part of the village of Exel.

The name Armhoede (Dutch for 'poverty') would originally have been the name of a meadow nearby, which served as a general pasture for the less wealthy cattle herders.There is a landfill near Armhoede, which was closed in 2004 and has now been covered. A solar park has been opened on the site of the former landfill.

Exel (Dutch pronunciation: [ˈɛksəl]) is a village in the municipality of Lochem in the province of Gelderland in the Netherlands, in an area known as the Achterhoek. The village consists of four streets, the Oude Lochemseweg, the Exelseweg, 't Veld, and the Vossebosweg. Exel consists of a core with approximately 55 homes and 170 inhabitants and a large rural area with 700 inhabitants. The area, with a length of 6.5 km and a width of 1.5 km, is wedged between the Verwolde and Ampsen estates and borders the Ampsen forests.

Barchem is a village in the Dutch province of Gelderland, located in the municipality Lochem, about 15 km east of the city of Zutphen. It was first mentioned in 1474 as Borchem, and means "settlement on/near a hill". It used to be a little agricultural settlement, and used to be centred around the Barchemse Enk.: 1  In 1840, it was home to 346 people. Later, the centre moved to the road from Lochem to Ruurlo where a toll house was constructed in 1857. In 1860, the church was built at the intersection with the road from Borculo to Zwiep. During World War II, Barchem was the scene of heavy fighting.: 1  There are 25 commonwealth graves on the general cemetery.

Verwolde is a former municipality in the Dutch province of Gelderland. It existed between 1818 and 1854, when it was merged with Laren. The area is now a part of Lochem.

Laren is a village in the Dutch province of Gelderland. It is located in the municipality of Lochem. Laren was a separate municipality until 1971, when it was merged with Lochem.

Ruurlo is a village and former municipality in the province of Gelderland in the eastern part of the Netherlands. The town has a station on the Zutphen to Winterswijk railway line, and is served by trains every half-hour in both directions. In the evening there is an hourly service. Ruurlo Castle lies just outside the town and is a popular place for weddings. The castle was used as the town hall until 1 January 2005, when the municipality Ruurlo merged with the municipalities of Borculo, Neede and Eibergen into the municipality of Berkelland.

Ruurlo is a railway station in Ruurlo, Netherlands. The station opened on 24 June 1878 and is located on the Zutphen–Winterswijk railway. The train services are operated by Arriva. In 1884 the Ruurlo - Hengelo railway line opened and in 1885 was extended from Ruurlo to Doetinchem. This line has now been closed.
