Czech Television (Czech: Česká televize [ˈtʃɛskaː ˈtɛlɛvɪzɛ]; abbreviation: ČT) is a public television broadcaster in the Czech Republic, broadcasting seven channels. It is the successor to Czechoslovak Television, founded in 1953.

Podolí is a district in Prague located south of the city centre, on the right (east) riverbank. It borders Vyšehrad in the north, Pankrác (a part of Nusle and Krč districts) in the east and Braník in the south. The river Vltava separates Podolí from Smíchov and Hlubočepy on the other riverbank. Notable buildings of the district include neoclassical Podolí Waterworks completed in 20th century, Church of St. Michael the Archangel which is one of the oldest churches in the whole city or Podolí Swimming Stadium.

Archive and program funds of the Czech Television (Archiv a programové fondy České televize; abbreviation APF) is a specialized archive of the Czech Television. Organizationally, it is divided into three separate departments in Prague, Brno and Ostrava.

Podolí Swimming Stadium (in Czech: Plavecký stadion Podolí) is a swimming centre in Prague, Czech Republic, which is located on the right side of Vltava river in Podolí neighborhood. It contains two 50 meter-long pools (outside and inside), 33 meter pool for water polo, spa or other facilities including seating for 5000 spectators. It was built between 1959 and 1965 on the site of a former mine. Design of the complex, symbolizing a big water wave, was created by a Czech architect Richard Podzemný. The complex had an average of around 2500 visitors daily in 2015.

The Battle of Vyšehrad was a series of engagements at the start of the Hussite War between Hussite forces and Catholic crusaders sent by Emperor Sigismund. The battle took place at the castle of Vyšehrad from 16 August 1419 to c. 1 November 1420.

Jaroslav Ježek Conservatory (Czech: Konzervatoř Jaroslava Ježka), located in Prague, Czech Republic, is a conservatory specializing in contemporary music. Known primarily as a school for jazz and commercial music, it also offers a six-year undergraduate diploma in Classical music, composition, conducting, scriptwriting and musical theatre. The conservatory offers instruction in piano, guitar, violin, viola, cello, bass, double bass, flute, clarinet, saxophone, trumpet, trombone, percussion instruments, accordion and voice.

City Tower is the tallest skyscraper in Prague (Pankrác district) and in Bohemia, and the second tallest one in the Czech Republic standing on the Pankrác Plain with a height of 109 meters.

The Pankrác Plain or Pankrác Terrace (Czech: Pankrácká pláň, Pankrácká terasa) is a geomorphological and urban area in Prague associated with the Pankrác district. The name of the district refers to the church of St. Pancras in the area. It stands about 1.5 km from the World Heritage Site "Historic Centre of Prague", the southern horizon of the Prague panorama. The second half of the 2000s witnessed a controversy related to the construction of new skyscrapers in the area.

V Tower is a high-rise building in Prague, Czech Republic. It is the tallest residential building in the Czech Republic with 104 meters in height and 30 floors. Construction started in 2016 and ended in 2018. It was designed by Czech architect Radan Hubička and the main investor was Aceur Investment.

Pankrác is a neighborhood of Prague, Czech Republic. It is located south of the city centre on the hills of the eastern bank of the Vltava River and is part of the Prague 4 municipal district, situated in the district of Nusle. Bordering districts are Krč on the south and southwest, Podolí on the west, Vyšehrad on the north and Michle on the east. The name derives from the local baroque initially very old church of St Pancras (Pankrác in Czech), which is filial to the parish church of St. Wenceslas in Nusle. Pankrác is also a synonym for its prison, which lies within its borders. Since the 1970s, several high-rise commercial buildings have been built in Pankrác Plain, and still others are being discussed amid some criticism that the skyline may threaten the historical character of Prague. Near the high-rise buildings is Centrální park (Central Park) with 4,8 ha, which is a place for recreation.

Arkády Pankrác is a shopping mall located in the Nusle district of Prague, Czech Republic. It has around 140 shops and an area of 45,000 square metres (484,000 sq ft).

Prague Congress Centre (Czech: Kongresové centrum Praha, shortly KCP) originally Palace of culture Prague (Czech: Palác kultury) is a large neofunctionalist building in Czech Republic capital Prague 4 district Nusle, located on the edge of Nusle Valley (Czech: Nuselské údolí), near to the Nusle Bridge and Prague Metro C station Vyšehrad. There are 70 halls, lounges and meeting rooms of various sizes in this building, with total capacity of 9,300 people.Biggest of them; Congress hall (Czech: Kongresový sál) has maximum capacity of 2,764 people. Mainly congresses, musicals, meetings, festivals, and concerts are normally held in this building.
