Prague Congress Centre (Czech: Kongresové centrum Praha, shortly KCP) originally Palace of culture Prague (Czech: Palác kultury) is a large neofunctionalist building in Czech Republic capital Prague 4 district Nusle, located on the edge of Nusle Valley (Czech: Nuselské údolí), near to the Nusle Bridge and Prague Metro C station Vyšehrad. There are 70 halls, lounges and meeting rooms of various sizes in this building, with total capacity of 9,300 people.Biggest of them; Congress hall (Czech: Kongresový sál) has maximum capacity of 2,764 people. Mainly congresses, musicals, meetings, festivals, and concerts are normally held in this building.

The Battle of Vyšehrad was a series of engagements at the start of the Hussite War between Hussite forces and Catholic crusaders sent by Emperor Sigismund. The battle took place at the castle of Vyšehrad from 16 August 1419 to c. 1 November 1420.

Vyšehrad (Czech pronunciation: [ˈvɪʃɛɦrat]) is a Prague Metro station on Line C. The station was opened on 9 May 1974 with the first section of Prague Metro, between Sokolovská and Kačerov. The station serves Vyšehrad and was formerly known as Gottwaldova (before this was working name "Nuselský most"). It is near the Prague Congress Centre and the Corinthia Hotel Tower. Fort Vyšehrad is also accessible from this station, by walking.

Corinthia Hotel Prague, also called Corinthia Towers (original name Hotel Fórum), is highrise luxury hotel in Prague's Nusle District, next to the Prague Congress Centre and Vyšehrad Metro station. Its height is 84 m (276 ft), with an antenna spire reaching to 90 m (300 ft). It was built in 1988. It contains 26 floors (two underground), 539 rooms, a 14-metre-long pool, a wellness center, several restaurants and congress halls.

Podolí Waterworks (in Czech: Podolská vodárna) is a big water supply equipment located in capital city of the Czech Republic, Prague, neighborhood Podolí. More precisely, it is located in Prague 4 on the right side of Vltava river between Vyšehrad and Swimming stadium Podolí (Plavecký stadium Podolí). The current complex was built between 1925–1929 on the place where former water supply infrastructure was located. In 1990s, it was completely reconstructed. From 2003, it serves only as backup water source in case of failure of other treatment plants. The complex was built in neoclassical architecture style and it is protected as a Cultural monument. It also serves as a Prague Waterworks Museum.

Pankrác is a neighborhood of Prague, Czech Republic. It is located south of the city centre on the hills of the eastern bank of the Vltava River and is part of the Prague 4 municipal district, situated in the district of Nusle. Bordering districts are Krč on the south and southwest, Podolí on the west, Vyšehrad on the north and Michle on the east. The name derives from the local baroque initially very old church of St Pancras (Pankrác in Czech), which is filial to the parish church of St. Wenceslas in Nusle. Pankrác is also a synonym for its prison, which lies within its borders. Since the 1970s, several high-rise commercial buildings have been built in Pankrác Plain, and still others are being discussed amid some criticism that the skyline may threaten the historical character of Prague. Near the high-rise buildings is Centrální park (Central Park) with 4,8 ha, which is a place for recreation.

Nusle Bridge (Czech: Nuselský most) is a prestressed concrete viaduct in Prague, Czech Republic. It connects Prague 2 and Prague 4, across a valley which forms part of the Nusle district. The bridge is one of the longest in the country and carries two footpaths, a multi-lane road and part of the city's rapid transit network. The bridge links the city center to its south-eastern districts such as Pankrác, and joins the D1 motorway leading to Brno. It is crucial to Prague's transportation network, since almost all north-south traffic flows across it. Below the six-lane highway on the surface, lies part of Prague Metro Line C between I.P. Pavlova and Vyšehrad stations.

Jedličkův ústav ("Jedlička’s Institute for Disabled") is a Czech medical and educational institute specialized in the care of disabled children and adults. The primary location of the Institute is situated in the Prague district of Vyšehrad. It was founded in 1913 by surgeon Rudolf Jedlička, and it is the oldest facility of its kind in the Czech Republic. The institute includes a nursery, primary school and several types of secondary schools.

Podolí is a district in Prague located south of the city centre, on the right (east) riverbank. It borders Vyšehrad in the north, Pankrác (a part of Nusle and Krč districts) in the east and Braník in the south. The river Vltava separates Podolí from Smíchov and Hlubočepy on the other riverbank. Notable buildings of the district include neoclassical Podolí Waterworks completed in 20th century, Church of St. Michael the Archangel which is one of the oldest churches in the whole city or Podolí Swimming Stadium.

Archive and program funds of the Czech Television (Archiv a programové fondy České televize; abbreviation APF) is a specialized archive of the Czech Television. Organizationally, it is divided into three separate departments in Prague, Brno and Ostrava.

Divadlo na Fidlovačce (Fidlovačka Theatre) is a private theatre based in Prague. The theatre is in a building located in Nusle, that has been built as Thyl Theatre 1921. Several ensembles performed in the theatre, that had itself several names. In 1978 the building was closed and started to deteriorate. In January 1995 foundation Nadace Fidlovačka was established. The foundation, headed by Tomáš Töpfer and Eliška Balzerová, with the support of municipal government of the Prague 4 district managed to re-establish the theatre. The theatre opened with musical Fiddler on the Roof in October 1998. The performance, with Tomáš Töpfer as Tovye, was very successful, when the run of the musical ended in 2014. Other musicals included Man of La Mancha with Viktor Preiss as Don Quixote, Painted on Glass, translated by Jaromír Nohavica, Cabaret with Tereza Bebarová as Sally Bowles and Czech premiere of Thoroughly Modern Millie with Michaela Badinková / Zuzana Vejvodová as Millie Dillmount. Large part of the repertoire, as in other Czech private theatres with limited amount of state subsidies, consist of comedies for broad audience. Among others, comedies by Shakespeare, Goldoni, Pirandello, Orton, Feydau, Patrick, Maugham or Kishon were staged. Most performances were directed by either Tomáš Töpfer or Juraj Deák, who held the position of art director. In 2006 the theatre opened as second scene in a former cinema nearby, so-called Komorní Fidlovačka, where chamber dramas for smaller audiences are held.

The Statue of Saint Procopius is installed in a niche of the wall of the homestead K rotundě 16/3 (former canon's court) at Vyšehrad, Prague, Czech Republic. The statue has a modern appearance; its sculptor and the year of its origin are not declared at the statue. The statue is mentioned in the description of the Vyšehrad Fortress in the state register of cultural monuments among elements which are possible candidates to be included into protection. However, no further details are stated.
