The Paco Park (originally named as Cementerio General de Dilao) is a recreational garden and was once Manila's municipal cemetery built by the Dominicans during the Spanish colonial period. It is located on General Luna Street and at the east end of Padre Faura Street in Paco, Manila, Philippines. Paco Park has also become a popular venue for TV and film shootings, weddings, pre-nuptial shoots, private gatherings and cultural programs.One of its exposures in a movie was in Starting Over Again (2014 film) , wherein most of the memorable life of Ginny with Marco was shot in this place. Also, in the start of the movie, Marco was seen doing a history lectures to his other students, for he was a history professor in the movie before being a businessman.

Casino Español de Manila is a club established in 1893 by Spaniards living in the Philippines as their exclusive venue for recreational and social activities. It later opened its doors to Filipino members to foster Spanish-Filipino ties in the country. It is located at No. 855 Teodoro M. Kalaw Extension, Ermita, Manila. The Otis Bridge is a six-lane girder bridge crossing the Estero de Concordia, a tributary of the Pasig River, in Manila, the Philippines. Built in 1968 and carrying Paz Mendoza Guazon Street, formerly known as Otis Street (named after the American Governor-General Elwell Stephen Otis), the bridge is a major artery for commercial vehicles carrying cargo from the Port of Manila, with some 10,000 trucks crossing the bridge daily.In 2015, the bridge was slated for replacement or reconstruction as it neared the end of its 50-year service life, with ₱37,000,000 initially being allocated for construction work by the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH). However, on June 26, 2018, the bridge was ordered closed by the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) on the advice of the Manila Disaster risk reduction Management Council, after media reports showed that 20-foot (6.1 m) long cracks started appearing along the center island, caused by the number of overloaded trucks that used the bridge, as well as construction work on the nearby Concordia Bridge which prevented its timely replacement.The bridge was reopened on December 4, 2018, three months ahead of the March 2019 target date, with ₱217,000,000 being allocated from the national budget for its replacement. Construction took place 24/7 in phases until the project was completed.

The Plaridel Masonic Temple, is a reconstruction of a historic building located at 1440 San Marcelino Street in Ermita, Manila. It is the headquarters of the Most Worshipful Grand Lodge of Free and Accepted Masons of the Philippines. It was declared as a Historical Landmark in 1987 by the National Historical Commission of the Philippines (formerly National Historical Institute).

Plaza Rueda is a public square in Ermita, Manila, bounded by Taft Avenue to the west, United Nations Avenue to the north and General Luna Street to the east. Originally a low, swampy ground, the plaza was established by the Municipal Board of Manila, known today the Manila City Council, on November 15, 1915, and dedicated to Spanish journalist and poet Salvador Rueda, who visited the Philippines that year.

Isla de la Convalecencia (lit. 'Island of Convalescence'), commonly known as simply Isla de Convalecencia (also spelled Isla de Convalescencia and sometimes erroneously called Isla de Convalencia), is a small narrow river island in the Pasig River in Manila, the Philippines. It is the only island dividing the Pasig River in Manila located between the districts of San Miguel on the north bank, and Ermita and Paco on the south. The island, best known as the location of the Hospicio de San José, is administratively part of San Miguel's Barangay 646, Zone 67. It has a total area of approximately 594 square meters (6,390 sq ft) and is connected to both sides of the river by the Ayala Bridge. Although the island is primarily occupied by the Hospicio, it also hosts a detachment of the Philippine Coast Guard that patrols the periphery of the Malacañang Palace complex located just northwest of the island on the north bank of the Pasig River. The island hosts the Hospicio’s small community which includes the 412 children, 64 special needs and 120 elderly residents.
