Florida Tech Panther Stadium is an American football stadium located in Melbourne, Florida. The facility served as the home field for the NCAA Division II Florida Tech Panthers football team representing the Florida Institute of Technology, and is the home field for the Palm Bay Magnet High School Pirates football team. Prior to July 2015, the facility was known as Pirate Stadium before Florida Tech purchased naming rights for the stadium.

The Turkey Creek Sanctuary is a small nature reserve in Palm Bay in Brevard County, Florida, and incorporates salty hammock and sand pine ridge habitats. It has 1.85 miles (3 km) of boardwalk paths and 1.5 miles (2.4 km) of jogging trails through native forest to Turkey Creek, an excellent site for seeing birds, turtles, manatees, alligators as well as other local wildlife. The creek is an important breeding ground for both salt and fresh water fish and is accessible via a canoe deck. The Sanctuary is part of the East Florida section of the Great Florida Birding Trail.The property was donated to the Florida Audubon Society and the city of Palm Bay in 1978, and fundraising to conserve the area began in 1981. By 1994 113 acres (46 ha) were protected by the voluntary management committee. The park is open daily, from 7am to sunset. It occasionally is threatened by environmental concerns. Heavy rains in September 2014 caused partially treated wastewater to spill into Turkey Creek.The Margaret Hames Nature Center was opened in 1992 and offers environmental education programs, including nature day camps.

Melbourne Central Catholic (MCC) is an American private, Roman Catholic, coed college-preparatory school high school located in Melbourne, in Brevard County, Florida. It was a Blue Ribbon School of Excellence in 1991.

The Charles and Ruth Clemente Center for Sports and Recreation, also known as the Clemente Center, is a 3,500-seat indoor sports arena located in Melbourne, Florida. It is the home of the Florida Tech Panthers basketball and volleyball teams. The arena is also used for concerts, trade shows, conventions, graduation ceremonies and other special events. In addition to the main arena, the Clemente Center also features an intramural gymnasium, two fitness centers, a multipurpose room, and a food court known as Center Court. An "air wall" separates the main arena from the intramural gymnasium and is removable for events requiring a large seating capacity. Clemente Center is also home to the administrative offices for Florida Tech's athletic department. The 58,000-square-foot facility is named not for baseball player Roberto Clemente, but rather for Charles and Ruth Clemente, who donated some of the funding for the arena.

The Florida Institute of Technology (Florida Tech or FIT) is a private research university in Melbourne, Florida. The university comprises four academic colleges: Engineering & Science, Aeronautics, Psychology & Liberal Arts, and Business. Approximately half of FIT's students are enrolled in the College of Engineering & Science. The university's 130-acre primary residential campus is near the Melbourne Orlando International Airport and the Florida Tech Research Park. The campus is located 16 miles from Patrick Space Force Base.The university was founded in 1958 as Brevard Engineering College to provide advanced education for professionals working in the U.S. space program at the Kennedy Space Center and Space Launch Delta 45 at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station. Since 1966, when it combined the Institute of Technology (FIT) following University of Central Florida's name change, FIT has gone by its current name Florida Tech. Covenant Christian School was a private Christian school located in Palm Bay, Florida. The school educated students in Kindergarten to 12th grade. The school was founded as a ministry of Covenant Presbyterian Church of Palm Bay in 1993. It is no longer associated with the church. The school announced that it would merge with Calvary Chapel Academy on their campus beginning in the fall of 2021, making the 2020–2021 school year the final one for the school. The final school day and chapel was on May 21 with the final graduation on May 28.The school building is now apart of the Pineapple Cove Academy campuses located throughout Palm Bay as of 2023.
