Guangzhou Fuda Cancer Hospital is a tertiary specialized cancer hospital which is affiliated with the Health Department of Guangdong Province in China. It was designated a national key clinical (cancer) hospital by the National Health and Family Planning Commission in 2011. The same year, Guangzhou Fuda Cancer Hospital was honored with National Trustworthy Private Hospital by the National Institute of Hospital Administration. In 2012, China Hospital Association rated Guangzhou Fuda Cancer Hospital as China Public Confidence Model Hospital. It was accredited by JCI in 2014.Guangzhou Fuda Cancer Hospital has locations in Tianhe District (located in the 2nd, Tangde Xi Road, Tianhe District, Guangzhou) and one in Haizhu District (located in Jude Zhong Road, Haizhu District, Guangzhou). The hospital has so far received more than 15 million RMB (~$2.5 million USD) of cancer research grant. Regarding patients with medium or advanced cancer as the main treating objects which is treated as medical difficulty in the world, Guangzhou Fuda Cancer Hospital adopts the international latest anticancer concept in focusing on applying 3C+P treatment model that composed of cryosurgical ablation (CSA), cancer microsphere intervention (CMI), combined immunotherapy for cancer (CIC including NK and CAR-T cell immunotherapy) and personalized treatment, which prolongs and improves patients’ lives in recent 10 years. Guangzhou Fuda Cancer Hospital remains at the forefront of cryosurgical ablation in treating cancer both in the number of treatments and types of tumors. Especially in treating central lung cancer, giant liver cancer, and pancreatic cancer, it makes a lot of achievements and obtains domestic and international awards many times.

Chigang Station (Chinese: 赤岗站) is a station on Line 8 of the Guangzhou Metro. It started operations on 28 June 2003. It is located to the northeast of the junction of Xingang Middle Road (新港中路) and Jiangnan Avenue (江海大道) in the Haizhu District.Before the extension to both lines 2 and 8 opened in September 2010, this station ran as part of Line 2 as a single line from Wanshengwei to Sanyuanli.

Datang Station (Chinese: 大塘站; Cantonese Yale: Daaihtòhng Jaahm) is a station of Line 3 of the Guangzhou Metro that started operations on 28 December 2006. It is located underground Datang Village (大塘村) along East Xinjiao Road (新滘东路) in Haizhu District. It is near the Taxation Bureau of Haizhu district (海珠区税务局) and the Tianxiong Cloth Market Center (天雄布匹市场), as well as to the north of Haizhu Lake (海珠湖).

Modiesha station (Chinese: 磨碟沙站; pinyin: Módiéshā Zhàn; Jyutping: mo4dip6saa1 zaam6) is a station on Line 8 and Line 18 of the Guangzhou Metro. Line 8 started operation on 28 June 2003 and Line 18 started operation on 28 September 2021. It is located under Xingang East Road (新港东路) in the Haizhu District of Guangzhou.Before the extension to both lines 2 and 8 opened in September 2010, this station ran as part of Line 2 as a single line from Wanshengwei to Sanyuanli.

Xinjiao Town (Chinese: 新滘镇; pinyin: Xīnjiào zhèn; Jyutping: San1gaau3 zan3) is a town in the Haizhu District of Guangzhou, Guangdong Province, China. The town is known for its orchards, which produce fruits such as star-fruit, pomegranate, banana, papaya, orange, and litchi. Like many neighboring communities, it is also noted for its canals, which are incorporated into the design of parts of the city, abutting houses and bridges, which date back as far as the Ming Dynasty (1279–1644). Several Qing Dynasty (1644–1911) temples are also located in the area. These features make the town a popular attraction for tourists.

The Guangdong University of Finances and Economics (广东财经大学) is a provincial public university in Guangzhou, Guangdong, China. The university is affiliated with the Province of Guangdong and sponsored by the provincial government.

Kecun Station (Chinese: 客村站; Cantonese Yale: Haakchyūn Jaahm) is an interchange station between Lines 3 and 8 of the Guangzhou Metro. It started operations on 28 June 2003. It is located at the underground of Kecun Village in Haizhu District.Before the extension to both lines 2 and 8 opened in September 2010, this station ran as part of Line 2 as a single line from Wanshengwei to Sanyuanli.

Guangdong Institute of Education (simplified Chinese: 广东教育学院; traditional Chinese: 廣東教育學院; pinyin: Guǎngdōng jiàoyù xuéyuàn) is a provincial higher education institution based in Guangzhou, Guangdong province, China.

Canton Tower Station (simplified Chinese: 广州塔站; traditional Chinese: 廣州塔站; Cantonese Yale: Gwóngjāu Taap Jaahm) is an interchange station on Line 3 and Zhujiang New Town Automated People Mover Systems of the Guangzhou Metro. It started operations on 28 December 2005. It is an underground station located to the south of Binjiang Road East in Haizhu District, on the south bank of the Pearl River. The station was previously called Chigang Pagoda Station (赤岗塔站), named after the nearby Chigang Pagoda which, despite being a relatively lesser-known architectural heritage in Guangzhou, was the only recognisable structure in the immediate vicinity when the station was constructed. However, after the station was opened, the Canton Tower, a new TV and sightseeing tower, was built directly above it. This iconic piece of architecture quickly became the city's new landmark, and the name of the station was often confused with Chigang station (赤岗站) of line 8, so it was changed to Canton Tower Station in December 2013 when line 6 was opened. It is the first station built for sightseeing purposes in the Guangzhou Metro system. The station is connected to an underground APM system which provides quick access to the Zhujiang New Town CBD across the river.The station is the terminus of the Haizhu Tram line of Guangzhou Trams, which runs to Wanshengwei Station.

The Expedition to Canton was a British punitive expedition that captured the forts along the Pearl River, Guangdong province, China, on 2–3 April 1847. Beginning at the Humen Strait (Bogue), the British captured the forts leading up to the city of Canton (Guangzhou). The operation was in response to British subjects being attacked by the Chinese near Canton. Hong Kong Governor John Davis demanded redress from Chinese Commissioner Keying. Unsatisfied with his reply, Davis ordered Major-General George D'Aguilar, the commander-in-chief of British forces in China, to seize the forts approaching Canton and to prepare for an attack on the city to force reparations on the spot. The forts were captured, but Canton was spared after Keying agreed to punish the culprits and to allow entry into the city.

Xingangdong (Chinese: 新港东站; pinyin: Xīngǎng dōng zhàn) is a station on Line 8 of the Guangzhou Metro that became operational on 28 June 2003. It is located at the underground of Xingang Road East in the Haizhu District of Guangzhou. The station is close to the Guangzhou International Convention Exhibition Center, the main venue for the Canton Fair.Before the extension to both lines 2 and 8 opened in September 2010, this station ran as part of Line 2 as a single line from Wanshengwei to Sanyuanli.
