Xinjiao Town

Kecun Station (Chinese: 客村站; Cantonese Yale: Haakchyūn Jaahm) is an interchange station between Lines 3 and 8 of the Guangzhou Metro. It started operations on 28 June 2003. It is located at the underground of Kecun Village in Haizhu District.Before the extension to both lines 2 and 8 opened in September 2010, this station ran as part of Line 2 as a single line from Wanshengwei to Sanyuanli.

Chigang Pagoda, also known as the Red Stone Hill Pagoda or Honam Pogoda, is a famous pagoda located in Haizhu District, Guangzhou, China.

Lujiang Station (Chinese: 鹭江站) is a station on Line 8 of the Guangzhou Metro that started operation on 28 June 2003. It is located under Xingang Road West (新港西路) and Xiadu Road (下渡路) in the Haizhu District of Guangzhou.Before the extension to both lines 2 and 8 opened in September 2010, this station ran as part of Line 2 as a single line from Wanshengwei to Sanyuanli.

Canton Tower Station (simplified Chinese: 广州塔站; traditional Chinese: 廣州塔站; Cantonese Yale: Gwóngjāu Taap Jaahm) is an interchange station on Line 3 and Zhujiang New Town Automated People Mover Systems of the Guangzhou Metro. It started operations on 28 December 2005. It is an underground station located to the south of Binjiang Road East in Haizhu District, on the south bank of the Pearl River. The station was previously called Chigang Pagoda Station (赤岗塔站), named after the nearby Chigang Pagoda which, despite being a relatively lesser-known architectural heritage in Guangzhou, was the only recognisable structure in the immediate vicinity when the station was constructed. However, after the station was opened, the Canton Tower, a new TV and sightseeing tower, was built directly above it. This iconic piece of architecture quickly became the city's new landmark, and the name of the station was often confused with Chigang station (赤岗站) of line 8, so it was changed to Canton Tower Station in December 2013 when line 6 was opened. It is the first station built for sightseeing purposes in the Guangzhou Metro system. The station is connected to an underground APM system which provides quick access to the Zhujiang New Town CBD across the river.The station is the terminus of the Haizhu Tram line of Guangzhou Trams, which runs to Wanshengwei Station.

The Canton Tower (Chinese: 广州塔), formally Guangzhou TV Astronomical and Sightseeing Tower (Chinese: 广州电视台天文及观光塔), is a 604-meter (1,982 ft)-tall multipurpose observation tower in the Haizhu District of Guangzhou (alternatively romanized as Canton). The tower was topped out in 2009 and it became operational on 29 September 2010 for the 2010 Asian Games. The tower briefly held the title of tallest tower in the world, replacing the CN Tower, before being surpassed by the Tokyo Skytree. It was the tallest structure in China prior to the topping out of the Shanghai Tower on 3 August 2013, and is now the second-tallest tower and the fifth-tallest freestanding structure in the world.

Guangzhou Fuda Cancer Hospital is a tertiary specialized cancer hospital which is affiliated with the Health Department of Guangdong Province in China. It was designated a national key clinical (cancer) hospital by the National Health and Family Planning Commission in 2011. The same year, Guangzhou Fuda Cancer Hospital was honored with National Trustworthy Private Hospital by the National Institute of Hospital Administration. The hospital has so far received more than 15 million RMB (~$2.5 million USD) of cancer research grant. Regarding patients with medium or advanced cancer as the main treating objects which is treated as medical difficulty in the world, Guangzhou Fuda Cancer Hospital adopts the international latest anticancer concept in focusing on applying 3C+P treatment model that composed of cryosurgical ablation (CSA), cancer microsphere intervention (CMI), combined immunotherapy for cancer (CIC including NK and CAR-T cell immunotherapy) and personalized treatment, which prolongs and improves patients’ lives in recent 10 years. Canton Tower East station (Chinese: 广州塔东站), is a station of Haizhu Tram of the Guangzhou Metro. It started operations on 31 December 2014.

Chigang Station (Chinese: 赤岗站) is a station on Line 8 of the Guangzhou Metro. It started operations on 28 June 2003. It is located to the northeast of the junction of Xingang Middle Road (新港中路) and Jiangnan Avenue (江海大道) in the Haizhu District.Before the extension to both lines 2 and 8 opened in September 2010, this station ran as part of Line 2 as a single line from Wanshengwei to Sanyuanli.

The Battle of the Barrier Forts (also known as the Battle of the Pearl River Forts) was fought between American and Chinese forces in the Pearl River, Guangdong, China in November 1856 during the Second Opium War. The United States Navy launched an amphibious assault against a series of four forts known as the Barrier Forts near the city of Canton (modern-day Guangzhou). It was considered an important battle by the British whose interest lay in capturing Canton.

Datang Station (Chinese: 大塘站; Cantonese Yale: Daaihtòhng Jaahm) is a station of Line 3 of the Guangzhou Metro that started operations on 28 December 2006. It is located underground Datang Village (大塘村) along East Xinjiao Road (新滘东路) in Haizhu District. It is near the Taxation Bureau of Haizhu district (海珠区税务局) and the Tianxiong Cloth Market Center (天雄布匹市场), as well as to the north of Haizhu Lake (海珠湖).

Haixinsha Station (Chinese: 海心沙站; pinyin: Hǎixīnshā Zhàn; Jyutping: hoi2sam1saa1 zaam6) is a metro station of the Guangzhou Metro APM line. It is located at the underground of Haixinsha Island, venue of the opening and closing ceremonies of the 2010 Asian Games. It started operation on 24 February 2011, three months after the games ended.
