Nepal Police Hospital is a government hospital located in Maharajgunj of Kathmandu in Bagmati Province of Nepal. It was opened with an intention to provide free health services to in- service policemen, and ex-servicemen including their families. From 2075 BS (2018-2019), the hospital has been providing OPD services for public civilian.

National Police Academy is the main training academy of the Nepal Police. It was established with the Police Regulation of 1993. CPTC was founded 1956. The Police Academy is located in Kathmandu, capital city of Nepal. It was formerly known as Central Police Training Centre (CPTC) established on the onset with the police regulation of 1993. Central Police Training Centre (CPTC) was laid its foundation in 1956 and has its distinction as only an institute to train the police force. The current executive director of the academy is Tek Prasad Rai In its inception, CPTC had remained engaged in training only the constable level within limited resources and training facilities. Now, the changing trend of policing as per the changed political context has demanded well versed and qualified police officers to meet the public expectations. The introduction of improved administrative practices focuses on enhancing qualitative instructors and its training to bring about improvements in administrative, investigative, and overall improvement on police professionals.

Lazimpat (Nepali: लाजिम्पाट) is a residential area of Kathmandu, the capital city of Nepal. It is close to the Narayanhity Palace, and is well known in Kathmandu for its hotels, restaurants, schools, colleges, embassies and department stores. The neighborhood's name derives from Lazimpat Durbar, that lies in its vicinity and was converted into Hotel Shanker.Lazimpat shares one border with Thamel, a popular tourist hub, and another with Baluwatar, a reputed residential area where the Prime Minister, Chief Justice, and the Chairman of Constitution Assembly reside. Lazimpat is just 20 minutes away from what is downtown of Kathmandu, Newroad and Ason. There has been a recent upsurge in the construction activity in the region. Lazimpat boasts the only road connecting the northern part of the Kathmandu valley with the southern part. The roads are very busy, yet until a few years back, there was not much economic activity in the region. Luxury hotels, photo studios, department stores and corner shops have been a special feature of Lazimpat. It is centrally located and is also home to or nearby various embassies..
