The Old Nayong Pilipino, officially the Nayong Pilipino Cultural Park, was a cultural theme park near Ninoy Aquino International Airport in Pasay, Metro Manila.

Vitalez, officially Barangay Vitalez, is an urban barangay located in the first district of Parañaque, Philippines. Located near Ninoy Aquino International Airport, it is the smallest barangay in the city. As of the 2020 census, the population was 5,100. The barangay was created on April 3, 1978.

On 16 August 2018, a Boeing 737-800 operating as XiamenAir Flight 8667 skidded off the runway at Ninoy Aquino International Airport in Metro Manila while attempting to land in poor weather conditions. The crash occurred at 11:55 p.m. Philippine Standard Time (UTC+8) after a two-and-a-half-hour flight from Xiamen. The crash resulted in the destruction of the aircraft but no serious injuries among the crew or passengers. The damaged aircraft took 36 hours to remove from the runway, leading to a major disruption at the airport, which is the primary international gateway to the Philippines. The closure caused the cancellation of more than 200 domestic and international flights, affected more than 250,000 travelers, and prompted calls for enlargement of the airport or the construction of alternative airports to serve the country in the event of future disruptions. After the accident, the flight crew stated in interviews that a torrential downpour obstructed their view of the runway. The investigation revealed that despite the first officer of the aircraft calling for a go-around several times during the landing, the captain attempted to complete the landing despite not being able to clearly identify the runway. The investigation led to changes in airline policy relating to cockpit resource management, planning, and operations in poor weather conditions. It also led to runway improvements at the airport to remove runway obstructions that had caused most of the severe damage experienced by the aircraft.

Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA , locally ; Filipino: Paliparang Pandaigdig ng Ninoy Aquino; IATA: MNL, ICAO: RPLL), originally known as Manila International Airport (MIA), is the main international airport serving the city of Manila and the metropolitan area of the same name. Located between the cities of Pasay and Parañaque, about 7 kilometers (4.3 mi) south of Manila proper and southwest of Makati, NAIA is the main gateway for travelers to the Philippines and serves as a hub for AirSWIFT, Cebgo, Cebu Pacific, PAL Express, and Philippine Airlines; it is also the main operating base for Philippines AirAsia. Named after Senator Ninoy Aquino (1932–1983), who was assassinated at the airport on August 21, 1983, it is managed by the Manila International Airport Authority (MIAA), an agency of the Department of Transportation (DOTr).Officially, NAIA is the only airport serving the Metro Manila area. However, in practice, both NAIA and Clark International Airport, located in the Clark Freeport Zone in Pampanga, serve the metropolis. However, Clark caters mostly to low-cost carriers because of its lower landing fees compared to the higher fees at NAIA. Recently, there have been calls for Clark to replace NAIA eventually as the primary airport of the Philippines. In an effort to reduce congestion at the airport, two new airports are being constructed: New Manila International Airport, located in Bulacan, and Sangley Point Airport, located on reclaimed land in Cavite City.Currently, NAIA is operating beyond its designed capacity of 35 million passengers, causing air traffic congestion and flight delays. The airport has been tagged by The Guide to Sleeping In Airports, luggage storage app Bounce, and travel blog Hawaiian Islands as one of the worst airports in both Asia-Pacific, if not the world. Since 2018, plans to privatize and improve the airport have been pitched, and were revived again in 2023 following a major malfunction in the airport's air traffic control system.

The Shrine of St. Thérèse of the Child Jesus is a Roman Catholic church located in Pasay, Philippines, across the main entrance of Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal 3. Dedicated to Saint Thérèse de Lisieux, the church is classified as a diocesan shrine governed by the Military Ordinariate of the Philippines.

Newport City is a 25-hectare (62-acre) township development situated next to the Villamor golf course and Terminal 3 of the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) in Metro Manila, Philippines. Awarded as the Mixed-Use Development of the Year by the Philippine Retailers Association in 2015, Newport City is a Megaworld Corporation township development and is designed to combine accommodations and entertainment with residences, hotels, a mall and Resorts World Manila, the country's first fully integrated entertainment complex.

The Newport Performing Arts Theater (NPAT), also known as simply Newport Theater, is a performing arts center on the grounds of Newport World Resorts in Pasay, Metro Manila, the Philippines. It is a modern multi-purpose theater named after its location in the Newport Mall and entertainment complex connected to the integrated resort in the 25-hectare (62-acre) Newport City township. The 1,500-seat facility opened in 2010 and holds the widest stage in the Philippines. It is one of the three major performing arts venues in Metro Manila that plays host to both touring and locally-produced musicals, live stage shows, concerts, and regular televised events such as awards ceremonies and pageants.

The Resorts World Manila attack was an attack that took place at the Resorts World Manila (now Newport World Resorts) entertainment complex in Newport City, Pasay, Philippines. 38 were killed and 70 were injured when a gunman caused a stampede after he set fire to casino tables and slot machine chairs around midnight on June 2, 2017. The gunman moved to a storage area to steal casino chips from the venue but later committed suicide following a confrontation with the responding police. Nearly all of the attack's deaths and injuries resulted from the initial stampede and smoke inhalation from the fire. While initial suspicions strongly pointed towards a terrorist attack, with affiliates of the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) claiming responsibility, representatives of the Philippine National Police consistently maintained that the motive was robbery. Evidence eventually confirmed that the attack was financially motivated, and was committed by Jessie Javier Carlos, a debt-ridden former civil servant.

Newport World Resorts (formerly Resorts World Manila) is an integrated resort, located in Newport City, opposite Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 3, in Pasay, Metro Manila, Philippines. The resort is owned and operated by Travellers International Hotel Group, Inc. (TIHGI), a joint venture between Alliance Global Group and Genting Hong Kong. The project, occupying part of a former military camp, has four hotels, casino gambling areas, a shopping mall, cinemas, restaurants, clubs and a theater. A soft launch of the resort took place on August 28, 2009. Resorts World Manila is the sister resort to Resorts World Genting in Malaysia and Resorts World Sentosa in Singapore. It was the first integrated resort in Metro Manila, and from 2009 to 2013 it was the only one in operation until the opening of Solaire Resort & Casino in Entertainment City, Parañaque on March 16, 2013. On June 2, 2017, dozens of people died after a robbery caused a stampede and the perpetrator set a fire, leaving 38 people dead and 54 wounded. The casino temporarily suspended its operation and had its license suspended by PAGCOR on June 9, 2017. The license suspension was lifted on June 29, 2017, and on the same day Resorts World Manila resumed its gambling operations in gaming areas not affected by the attack.On July 20, 2022, Alliance Global rebranded Resorts World Manila into "Newport World Resorts".

Andrews Avenue (formerly and still commonly known as Nichols Road) is a major east-west thoroughfare in Metro Manila, Philippines that functions as a metropolitan linkage between Pasay and Taguig. It runs underneath the NAIA Expressway almost parallel to Epifanio de los Santos Avenue (EDSA) to the north connecting Roxas Boulevard and Domestic Road near Bay City with South Luzon Expressway near Newport City. It has an arterial extension continuing 3.4 kilometers (2.1 mi) northeast to 5th Avenue and McKinley Road in Bonifacio Global City known as Lawton Avenue. Andrews Avenue also serves as the main feeder to Ninoy Aquino International Airport from the east and west and is the main access road to Newport World Resorts (formerly Resorts World Manila).

The NAIA Road (Ninoy Aquino International Airport Road), formerly known and still commonly referred to as the MIA Road (Manila International Airport Road), is a short 8-10 lane divided highway connecting Roxas Boulevard and the Manila–Cavite Expressway (R-1) with Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) in southwestern Metro Manila, Philippines. It is also a major local road that links the cities of Pasay and Parañaque running approximately 2.5 kilometers (1.6 mi) underneath the elevated NAIA Expressway from R-1 in Tambo, Parañaque to NAIA Terminal 2 in Pasay. En route, it intersects, from west to east, Quirino Avenue, Domestic Road, and Ninoy Aquino Avenue. The road ends at the entrance of NAIA Terminal 2. The road also houses a small strip of shops across from Coastal Mall, Tambo Elementary School at Quirino Avenue, Park 'N Fly at Domestic Road, and the old Nayong Pilipino close to Terminal 2. The old NAIA Terminal 1 is accessible by turning south at Ninoy Aquino Avenue, which also leads to the Duty Free FiestaMall and continues on to Sucat as Dr. Santos Avenue. The new Terminal 3, on the other hand, is located on Andrews Avenue which can be accessed from Domestic Road. The road was originally named as MIA Road and was only renamed in 1987 when Manila's international airport became Ninoy Aquino International, in honor of the late Senator Ninoy Aquino. The NAIA Expressway runs through the NAIA Road from the Sales Interchange of the Skyway to the junction of the NAIA Road and Macapagal Boulevard via Andrews Avenue and Electrical Road, providing better access to all four terminals of Ninoy Aquino International Airport, as well as the casino complex in Entertainment City.
