Meinzinger Art School

The Cathedral Church of St. Paul is the cathedral church of the Episcopal Diocese of Michigan. In 1824 its congregation formed as the first Episcopal and first Protestant church in the Michigan Territory. Designed by architect Ralph Adams Cram and constructed in 1907, this building is located at 4800 Woodward Avenue in Midtown Detroit, Michigan, adjacent to the campus of Wayne State University. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982.

The DAM is a contemporary art gallery in Detroit, Michigan located in the cultural Midtown neighborhood near the Detroit Institute of Arts and Wayne State University. The DAM was created in 1932 and was originally known as the Detroit Young Artists Market. Its mandate was to give exhibition opportunities to artists under thirty, but by 1936, the gallery was renamed to the Detroit Artists Market, favoring emerging and established Detroit artists.

The Edwin S. George Building, built in 1908, is located at 4612 Woodward Avenue in Midtown Detroit, Michigan, at the corner of Woodward and Garfield. In 1914, the name was changed to the Garfield Building. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1993.

Detroit Conservatory of Music was a music school in Detroit, Michigan. It was considered one of the leading institutions of music in the United States. It was founded in 1874 by J. H. Hahn and opened a normal school training department in 1889.It was located at 5035 Woodward Avenue. In 1909 the Detroit Conservatory Orchestra was organized at the school.Chapters of Mu Phi Epsilon, Sigma Alpha Iota, and Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia existed at the school. The school featured on postcards. The Detroit Historical Society has a collection of documents from the school. The Detroit Public Library has a photograph of a woman playing violin at the school.

The Samuel L. Smith House is located at 5035 Woodward Avenue in Midtown Detroit, Michigan. It was also known as the Schools Annex. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1986.

The William C. Boydell House is a double house located at 4614 Cass Avenue in Midtown Detroit, Michigan. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982.

The Sugar Hill Historic District is a historic district in Detroit, Michigan. It contains 14 structures located along three streets: East Forest, Garfield, and East Canfield, between Woodward Avenue on the west and John R. on the east. The district was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2003.

The Thompson Home is a Victorian structure located at 4756 Cass Avenue in Midtown Detroit, Michigan. Originally the Thompson Home for Old Ladies, it was constructed in 1884, designated a Michigan State Historic Site in 1974, and listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1976.
