The Hilberry Theatre was a 534-seat auditorium located at 4743 Cass Avenue in Midtown Detroit, Michigan. Created in 1963, the Hilberry served as the theatre space for approximately 40-50 graduate students pursuing degrees in theatre fields at the Wayne State University main campus. In December, 2022, the Hilberry closed its doors for renovations. Its successor for live theatrical performances is the adjacent Hilberry Gateway, which opened in April 2023. The Hilberry Theatre will be renovated as the Gretchen C. Valade Jazz Center, a leading performance venue designed specifically for jazz.

Detroit's Marwil Bookstore was a local book store, independently owned in Detroit, Michigan. It was founded in 1948 by Milton and Lenore Marwil. Marwil existed on the Wayne State University campus as a cultural attraction for the students and faculty of Wayne State University and from members of the surrounding communities who were interested in scholarly work. Marwil Bookstore closed its doors permanently in December 2013.

The Hilberry Gateway is a performing arts center on the campus of Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan. The complex is the home of theatre and jazz performances presented by the Maggie Allesee Department of Theatre and Dance, succeeding the Bonstelle Theatre and incorporating the renovated Hilberry Theatre. The project was in planning as early in 2010, and received funding in 2018. The theater opened with the Maggie Allesee Department of Theatre and Dance production of Cabaret in April 2023.

The Mulford T. Hunter House is a private residence located at 77 West Hancock Street in Midtown Detroit, Michigan. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places on July 22, 1994.

Purdy-Kresge Library is a library on the main campus of Wayne State University and is the main research library for the social sciences, humanities, arts education, and business fields. The library is located at 5265 Cass Ave Detroit, Michigan 48202, across the street from the Detroit Public Library. Originally constructed as two separate libraries connected by a single hallway in 1950, the library is now known as one library. The Purdy/Kresge Library offers a traditional library atmosphere, housing a large print collection as well as over 60 computers, and ample study space.

The Wayne State University historic district consists of three buildings on 4735-4841 Cass Avenue in Midtown Detroit, Michigan: the Mackenzie House (4735 Cass), Hilberry Theatre (4743 Cass), and Old Main (4841 Cass), all on the campus of Wayne State University. The buildings were designated a Michigan State Historic Site in 1957 and listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1978.

The George W. Loomer House is a private residence located at 71 West Hancock Street in Midtown Detroit, Michigan. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1994.

The First Unitarian-Universalist Church of Detroit (also known as UU Detroit) is a historic church building at 4605 Cass Ave. in Detroit, Michigan. It was built in 1916 and is attached to the historic Perry McAdow House.

The William C. Boydell House is a double house located at 4614 Cass Avenue in Midtown Detroit, Michigan. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982.

The Perry McAdow House is a Renaissance Revival house located at 4605 Cass Avenue in Midtown Detroit, Michigan. It was designated a Michigan State Historic Site in 1976 and added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1980.

The Warren–Prentis Historic District is a historic district in Detroit, Michigan, including the east–west streets of Prentis, Forest, Hancock, and the south side of Warren, running from Woodward Avenue on the east to Third Avenue on the west. The district was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1997.The district includes residential, commercial, institutional, religious and other buildings, and the majority of the pre-1930s building stock remains.
