Balshagray Victoria Park Church is a Parish church of the Church of Scotland located in the Broomhill area of Glasgow, Scotland.

Hyndland railway station serves Hyndland in Glasgow, Scotland. The station is 3+1⁄4 miles (5.2 km) west of Glasgow Central and 2+3⁄4 miles (4.4 km) west of Glasgow Queen Street on the Argyle and North Clyde Lines. It is managed by ScotRail. The station was opened by British Railways as part of the electrification of the North Clyde Lines on 5 November 1960, replacing a nearby Hyndland (Stobcross Railway) railway station which was located at the end of a short branch line from Partickhill. This was subsequently adapted for use as an EMU maintenance depot, but eventually closed in 1987. The branch has since been lifted and the site redeveloped. The lines of the old Lanarkshire and Dunbartonshire Railway (now closed) passed under the east end of the station in a tunnel adjacent to their Crow Road station. Immediately to the west of the station is Hyndland East Junction where the Yoker and Singer (including the Milngavie branch) lines diverge. Hyndland station is accessible from the surrounding areas of Hyndland, Broomhill and Hughenden and also serves the nearby Gartnavel General Hospital, Gartnavel Royal Hospital and Glasgow Homoeopathic Hospital. In 2017, a local domestic cat became associated with the station.

Broomhill Parish Church, nowadays known as Broomhill Hyndland Parish Church, is a 20th-century church building located in the Broomhill area of Glasgow, Scotland.

Thornwood is a largely residential area of Glasgow, Scotland, lying north of the River Clyde. Part of the city's West End, it is situated almost on the river between Partick to the east and south and Broomhill to the north and west; the neighbourhoods of Whiteinch, Glasgow Harbour and Hyndland are also fairly close.

Partickhill railway station was a railway station serving the Partick area of Glasgow. The station was opened by the North British Railway Company in 1874 on the north side of Dumbarton Road. At some periods during its existence it was described as Partick for Govan in some timetables.

The Beatson West of Scotland Cancer Centre (BWSCC; formerly called the Beatson Oncology Centre) is a specialised cancer care centre in Glasgow, Scotland. Until recently it had facilities in Gartnavel General Hospital, the Western Infirmary and Glasgow Royal Infirmary. As part of the NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde Acute Services Review, the centre is being centralised within new facilities at the Gartnavel General Hospital site.

Partick West railway station was a station that served the Partick area of the city of Glasgow, particularly the Thornwood section of Partick from 1896 to 1964. It was a four platform station on the Lanarkshire and Dunbartonshire Railway, with two platforms on an east–west line with services between Dumbarton and Glasgow city centre and a further two platforms on a north–south line with services between Maryhill and the city centre. The station was situated beside the imposing building of the Meadowside Granary, which has since been demolished and replaced by part of the Glasgow Harbour development. Passenger services stopped using Partick West in the 1960s as part of the Beeching Axe which drastically cut rail services across the United Kingdom. Partick West was one of three stations which served the Partick area, along with Partickhill and Partick Central (latterly called Kelvin Hall). None of these stations exist now, and since 1979 the area has been served by one Partick station which combines rail, underground and bus services.

Hyndland Secondary School is a non-denominational state comprehensive school in the Hyndland area of Glasgow, Scotland. The school provides secondary education for children from the local area, although there are many children from other areas of the city. The school is part of the Hyndland New Learning Community, which consists of the school, its feeder primaries and other local children's services, and of which the former Headmaster, John F Alexander, was the Principal. Hyndland is also the only school in Glasgow where wearing uniform is not required on a day-to-day basis.

The A814 road in Scotland (known for part of its length as the Clydeside Expressway) is a major arterial route within Glasgow, connecting the city centre to the west end. Running along the right (north) bank of the River Clyde, it continues further west through Clydebank and Dumbarton, leaving the suburban environment and serving as the main road for Helensburgh, turning north to meet the A83 at Arrochar, Argyll and Bute.

Gartnavel Royal Hospital is a mental health facility based in the west end of Glasgow, Scotland. It provides inpatient psychiatric care for the population of the West of the City. It used to house the regional adolescent psychiatric unit but this has recently moved to a new psychiatric unit at Stobhill Hospital. The Hospital is a venue used by the Mental Health Tribunal for Scotland. Some parts of the hospital are classified as a category A building and are also deemed at risk.
