Northside Hospital Atlanta

The Northside Hospital System (Northside) is a hospital network in the Atlanta area of Georgia in the United States. Its specialties include oncology, gynecology, neurology, orthopedic surgery, and gastroenterology. Northside operates five hospitals across the metro area: Northside Hospital Atlanta, Northside Hospital Cherokee, Northside Hospital Duluth, Northside Hospital Forsyth, and Northside Hospital Gwinnett.

Pill Hill is a major cluster of hospitals and doctors’ offices in northern metro Atlanta, Georgia, United States. Pill Hill is in Sandy Springs, Georgia, near the intersection of Georgia 400 and Interstate 285, in the Perimeter Center district. Pill Hill has become the health-care mecca of Atlanta, with three hospitals, hundreds of physician practices, multiple outpatient centers and support services making it a premier location for medical practices. Pill Hill has grown exponentially since it began taking shape in the late 1960s when Scottish Rite, which was previously a children’s convalescent home, expanded into a full-fledged medical center in 1965. Northside Hospital became the first major medical provider to build on Pill Hill in 1970, and Saint Joseph’s was built soon after. The area has seen a major transformation over the past 40 years, as Northside has grown from 250 beds to 537 beds, while Saint Joseph’s completed a 64-bed expansion in 2005 to bring it to a total of 410 beds. The Children's Healthcare of Atlanta - Scottish Rite Hospital (formerly Scottish Rite Hospital for Crippled Children) is a nationally ranked, freestanding, 273-bed, pediatric acute care children's hospital located in Atlanta, Georgia. It is affiliated with the Emory University School of Medicine and the Morehouse School of Medicine, as a member of the Children's Healthcare of Atlanta system, 1 of 3 of the children's hospitals in the system. The hospital provides comprehensive pediatric specialties and subspecialties to infants, children, teens, and young adults aged 0–21 throughout the Atlanta region. The hospital features a state verified level II pediatric trauma center, one of two in the state. Its regional pediatric intensive-care unit and neonatal intensive care units serve the region. The hospital also has a rooftop helipad for critical pediatric transport.

Saint Joseph's Hospital of Atlanta is an acute care hospital located in Sandy Springs, Georgia. It was a sole part of the Catholic Health East until a partnership with Emory Healthcare and Catholic Health East became effective in January 2012. Saint Joseph's (also known as SJHA) was recognized as one of the 50 finest hospitals in the country by HealthGrades for 2007.Founded by the Sisters of Mercy in 1880, Saint Joseph's facility is Atlanta's oldest hospital.

Built in phases between 1984 and 1991, the Concourse at Landmark Center is a real estate development in metro Atlanta's Perimeter Center business district, in the city of Sandy Springs, Georgia, United States. It is a 70 acre planned community with two 34-story office towers, several low-rise office buildings, a hotel, and a health club, all set in landscaped grounds around a human-made lake. Set at the northeastern corner of the junction of two of Atlanta's busiest highways (Interstate 285 and Georgia 400), the Concourse, with its blue glass towers, was a major addition to the Atlanta skyline for commuters traveling to and from the north side of suburban Atlanta. It houses several corporate headquarters, including those of Spectrum Brands Holdings, Inc., CodeMettle, and Allconnect.

Perimeter Center is a major edge city in metro Atlanta, Georgia, United States. It is centered on Perimeter Mall, the nucleus around which it has formed. Perimeter Center is located north of Atlanta proper, and lies within three cities: Dunwoody, Sandy Springs, and Brookhaven. It is one of metro Atlanta's largest business districts, and one of the largest edge cities in the United States, comprising over 29 million square feet (2,700,000 m2) of office space, 6 million square feet (560,000 m2) of retail space, and 40,000 residents.

Park Towers is a high-rise condominium and apartment development located in the portion of the Perimeter Center edge city which is within the U.S. city of Sandy Springs, Georgia. The development consists of three buildings: Park Towers I, Park Towers II, and Park Towers III (Park Towers Place). Buildings II and I are the third- and fourth-tallest buildings in the city (behind Concourse Corporate Center V & VI, the "King & Queen" towers), and fourth and fifth within Perimeter Center (behind Three Ravinia Drive in Dunwoody). The area is the fourth-largest business district in metro Atlanta (behind Atlanta's downtown, midtown, and Buckhead areas), and the first to reach outside the major city into the suburbs.

Katherine and Jacob Greenfield Hebrew Academy (GHA), founded in 1953, was the first Jewish day school in Metro Atlanta, Georgia, United States. It was located in Sandy Springs. GHA was also the first Jewish day school in the country to be accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS), and has been honored twice as a National School of Excellence by the Council for American Private Education. As of July 1, 2014, the school officially merged with the modern Orthodox high school, Yeshiva Atlanta, founded in 1971, and the combined school is called Atlanta Jewish Academy. In November 2017 it had a ribbon cutting for the opening of a $9 million, 19,000-square-foot (1,800 m2) addition to its Northland Drive campus in Sandy Springs.

Atlanta Jewish Academy was created by the merger of Greenfield Hebrew Academy and Yeshiva Atlanta on July 1, 2014.The school is the first Infant through 12th grade Jewish day school in Greater Atlanta. It previously had two campuses, the lower school located in Sandy Springs and the upper school located in Doraville. However, in August 2017, the upper school moved into a new building added on to the Sandy Springs location. Atlanta Jewish Academy is accredited by AdvancED (formerly SACS) and the Southern Association of Independent Schools (SAIS).The first head of school was Rabbi Pinchos Hecht. The second head of school is Rabbi Ari Leubitz, who began his term on August 1, 2016.

Perimeter Mall is a shopping mall in Perimeter Center, Dunwoody, Georgia, a suburb of Atlanta, near the interchange of Interstate 285 (the Perimeter) and Georgia State Route 400. It is the second-largest shopping mall in the state of Georgia, the largest being the Mall of Georgia in Buford, Georgia. The mall features Macy's, Dillard's, Von Maur, and Nordstrom. Perimeter Mall is different from other shopping malls in Atlanta in that it includes open-air shops, upscale restaurants, and salons, connected by gardens and paths. It also features valet parking. It can be accessed by MARTA's Dunwoody station, which opened at the southwest corner of its parking lot in 1996.

Marist School is a private Catholic school located in Brookhaven, Georgia, United States, north of the city of Atlanta. Founded in 1901, it is operated independently of the Archdiocese of Atlanta.

Three Ravinia Drive is a skyscraper located in the city of Dunwoody, in metropolitan Atlanta. Standing 31 stories and 444 feet (135 meters) tall, it is the tallest building in Dunwoody. Ravinia was developed by Gerald Hines Interests of Houston, Texas, in 1991. It is part of a large business complex that includes the twin 17-story towers of One and Two Ravinia Drive, a 15-story Crowne Plaza Hotel and a park.The tower is used mostly for commercial office space. It is part of the Perimeter Center business district, and is also the regional headquarters for the Americas for InterContinental Hotels Group.
