Goat Island Light is a lighthouse located off Cape Porpoise near Kennebunkport in southern Maine. Goat Island Light was established in 1835 to guard the entrance to Cape Porpoise Harbor. The original station was upgraded in 1859 to the current brick tower with a fifth order Fresnel lens. Keeper's quarters were added to the island in 1860. The light station was automated by the United States Coast Guard in 1990 and is currently active. The keepers dwellings and tower are leased to the Kennebunkport Conservation Trust. Goat Island Light can be seen from shore in Cape Porpoise Harbor just off State Route 9 north of Kennebunkport or is viewable by boat. The island is currently closed to the public except by special arrangement.

Kennebunkport is a census-designated place (CDP) consisting of the central village in the town of Kennebunkport in York County, Maine, United States. The population was 1,238 at the 2010 census, out of a total town population of 3,474. It is part of the Portland–South Portland–Biddeford, Maine Metropolitan Statistical Area.

The Batson River is a 6.4-mile-long (10.3 km) river in the town of Kennebunkport in the U.S. state of Maine. It flows into the west end of Goosefare Bay, an arm of the Atlantic Ocean, north of the village of Cape Porpoise.

Its signal is broadcast from the same location. Established in 1994, WHTP-FM is owned by Mainestream Media. The station broadcasts a rhythmic top 40 format.WHTP-FM is simulcast in the Lewiston-Auburn and Augusta metro areas on WHTP (1280 AM and 100.3 FM), as well as in Bangor and surrounding areas on WHZP (1400 AM and 102.9 FM).

Clock Farm is a historic farmstead at the corner of Maine State Route 9 and Goose Rocks Road in Kennebunkport, Maine. Although it has a history dating to the 1770s, it is most notable (and a local landmark) for its early 20th-century purpose-built clock tower, which adorns the barn at one end of the connected complex. The property was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982.

Walker's Point Estate (also known as the Bush compound) is a private family estate and former Summer White House located in Kennebunkport, Maine. The estate has served as the summer retreat of the Bush family for over a century, beginning with George Herbert Walker in the early 1900s. It gained national prominence as the Summer White House during the presidency of George H. W. Bush (1989–1993), commonly called simply Kennebunkport during that period. The property continued to host presidential visits during the administration of his son, George W. Bush (2001–2009). Located on Walker's Point, a promontory extending into the Atlantic Ocean, the estate consists of a main house built in the New England shingle style, along with several outbuildings and recreational facilities. The property has served as a venue for diplomatic meetings with world leaders and remains an active family residence.

The Perkins Tide Mill was one of the last surviving 18th-century tide mills in the United States. Located on Mill Lane in Kennebunkport, Maine, it was built in 1749 and operated until 1939. It was destroyed by an arsonist in 1994. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1973, the property's present owners, the Kennebunkport Conservation Trust, are contemplating construction of a replica.

The Melville Walker House is an inn on Maine Street in the Kennebunkport Historic District in Kennebunkport, Maine. The inn was added to the National Register of Historic Places as part of the Kennebunkport Historic District on May 6, 1976. It is now known as AWOL Kennebunkport.

Goose Rocks Beach (formerly known as "Beachwood"), is a public beach located in the town of Kennebunkport, Maine United States, bordered by Cape Porpoise, Maine (another neighborhood of Kennebunkport) to the southwest, and Granite Point (a coastal neighborhood of Biddeford, Maine ) to the northeast. The village is inhabited mainly by summer residents from surrounding states and Canadian provinces. The Little River, which forms a border between Kennebunkport and Biddeford, empties into Goosefare Bay, the body of water that faces Goose Rocks Beach. Goose Rocks is unofficially bounded by the Batson River to the south-west, Route 9 to the northwest, and the Little River to the northeast. In 2009 Goose Rocks Beach was the subject of a lawsuit which multiple beach-front property owners filed against the town of Kennebunkport, claiming that they owned the beach in front of their homes up to the high tide water line. Goose Rocks Beach was the site of the O'Hara Watercolor School run by American watercolor painter Eliot O'Hara from 1930 to 1947. The school and many other buildings burned down in the Great Fires of 1947.

The Captain Nathaniel Lord Mansion is a historic house at 6 Pleasant Street in the village center of Kennebunkport, Maine. Built in 1812 by a wealthy shipowner, it is a fine example of Federal period architecture, which remained in the same family until 1972. It is now a bed and breakfast called The Captain Lord Mansion, Inn & Spa. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1973.

The Kennebunkport Historic District encompasses most of the village center of Kennebunkport, Maine. It includes the town's highest concentration of historic architecture, with many buildings from the late 18th and early 19th century, when Kennebunkport was at its height as a shipping and shipbuilding center. The district was added to the National Register of Historic Places on May 6, 1976.

The Louis T. Graves Memorial Public Library is the public library of Kennebunkport, Maine. It is located at 18 Maine Street, in a handsome brick Federal style building that served as the U.S. Customhouse from 1815 until 1913. The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places on January 18, 1974.
