Dormers Wells High School is a coeducational secondary school and sixth form in Dormers Wells, in the Ealing area of London, England. In 2011 the school building and grounds were rebuilt in a £30 million project designed by Nicholas Hare Architects, with Balfour Beatty Construction.

The London Vickers Viking accident occurred on 2 September 1958 when an Independent Air Travel Vickers VC.1 Viking (registration G-AIJE) with three crew members aboard and loaded with two Bristol Proteus turboprop engines as cargo attempted a flight from London Heathrow Airport to Tel Aviv via Nice, Brindisi and Athens.

The Three Horseshoes was a public house at Uxbridge Road and South Road at Southall Broadway, Southall, London. It was built between 1914 and 1922 (construction was delayed by World War I) by the architect Nowell Parr.In 1989, the local council proposed to demolish The Three Horseshoes as part of a town centre redevelopment scheme. However, this was opposed by CAMRA, the Twentieth Century Society and English Heritage, who nearly spot-listed the pub to save it.CAMRA call it "perhaps one of the best examples of the earlier Nowell Parr's work".It closed on 4 December 2016 and has been converted into shops and flats.

Southall () is a large suburban town in West London, England, part of the London Borough of Ealing and is one of its seven major towns. It is situated 10.7 mi (17.2 km) west of Charing Cross and had a population of 69,857 as of 2011. It is generally divided in three parts: the mostly residential area around Lady Margaret Road (Dormers Wells); the main commercial centre at High Street and Southall Broadway (part of the greater Uxbridge Road); and Old Southall/Southall Green to the south consisting of Southall railway station, industries and Norwood Green bounded by the M4. The canal separates it from Hayes on the west, whereas to the east the River Brent separates the town from Hanwell. From the 1950s the town's local factories and proximity to Heathrow Airport attracted large numbers of Asian immigrants; the town eventually became home to the largest Punjabi community outside the Indian subcontinent and is today a major centre of South Asian culture, having gained the nickname Little India.

Southall DMU Depot was a traction maintenance depot located in Southall, London, England. The depot is situated on the Great Western Main Line and is near Southall station. The depot code is SZ.

Southall Railway Centre is a non-publicised railway heritage centre at Southall in west London, near to Southall railway station and the Grand Union Canal. Formerly of the Great Western Railway the site is now run partly by Locomotive Services and West Coast Railways, both of whom lease the site from Network Rail. The location is not open to the public. Until 2021, the Great Western Railway Preservation Group (GWRPG) leased part of the West Coast Railway section of the site for their own use.
