Campo de Benfica was a football grass field in Lisbon, Portugal. After Benfica absorbed Desportos de Benfica on 17 September 1916, it started using as headquarters, the facilities in Avenida Gomes Pereira, in the back there was a football field since 1914 which was used by some clubs in Lisbon which did not have their own, like GS Cruz Quebrada. Benfica celebrated with Empresa dos Melhoramentos de Benfica (EMB) - owner of the land where the field was located - an annual rent deal of 840$00 escudos, paid monthly in advance in the amount of 70$00 escudos. Benfica then left Campo de Sete Rios. Stands with capacity of 10.000 and an additional tennis court were built. On 25 March 1919, Benfica played the first night football game in Portugal, with 1000 candles helped by 18 reflectors. But by 1923, the Municipality of Lisbon wanted to build a road to link Estrada de Benfica to Estrada Nacional, crossing the place where the field was located (the street was only built in 1997, 74 years later). After 1923, Benfica then moved to Estádio do Campo Grande belonging to Sporting CP and Campo de Palhavã of Império Lisboa Clube, until Estádio das Amoreiras, completed in 1925 was finished. Between 1916 and 1923, Benfica played 27 matches, won 11, drew 6 and lost 10, scored 56, conceded 45.

Clube Futebol Benfica (Portuguese pronunciation: [bɐ̃jˈfikɐ]), commonly known as Futebol Benfica, or simply as Fofó (Portuguese pronunciation: [fɔˈfɔ]), is a Portuguese sports club based in the Benfica neighborhood of Lisbon. The club was founded on 23 March 1933; however, the origins of the club can be traced back to 1895. Futebol Benfica is mostly known for its men's football, women's football, field hockey and roller hockey teams. The men's football team competes in the Regional league. Previously it competed in the newly created Campeonato Nacional de Seniores, a competition created in 2013 after the merging of the Segunda Divisão and Terceira Divisão (third and fourth tiers of the Portuguese football league system). The women's football team plays in the national top league, the Campeonato Nacional. Both teams play at the Estádio Francisco Lázaro, where they have been playing ever since the establishment of the club. The home colours are red and black. Futebol Benfica is an independent club without any affiliation or connection with the better-known Sport Lisboa e Benfica, a neighboring club of much larger dimensions.

Campo da Feiteira was a football dirt field in Lisbon, Portugal. It started as field for Grupo Sport de Benfica to organize Sports Festivals. On 26 May 1907, Grupo Sport de Benfica officially taken over of Quinta da Feiteira, next to Estrada de Benfica, having from now on, a 120 meters per 79 metres field, for $20 a semester. On 14 July 1907 it celebrated here, the first anniversary of Grupo Sport de Benfica. Grupo Sport Lisboa (GSL) did not have a field in its originating area (Belém) but since some of its members were also members of GSB, they knew about Campo da Feiteira, and despite their quality, it was not used for football. So on 24 November 1907, Grupo Sport Lisboa played for the first time in Campo da Feiteira, even thought as neutral field, counting to the Lisbon Football Championship, Grupo Sport Lisboa beat Internacional (CIF). In March 1908, Grupo Sport Benfica changes its name to Sport Clube de Benfica. On 13 September 1908, after absorbing its members and the playing field of Grupo Sport Benfica, Grupo Sport Lisboa adds Benfica to its name, becoming then Sport Lisboa e Benfica (SLB) and playing in Campo da Quinta da Feiteira. Sport Lisboa e Benfica left after excessive rent, $400 for semester. They moved to Campo de Sete Rios. Campo da Feiteira was converted into houses.

Buraca (Portuguese pronunciation: [buˈɾakɐ]) is a former civil parish, located in the municipality of Amadora, Portugal. In 2013, the parish merged into the new parish of Águas Livres. As of the 2011 Census, it had a population of 15 892. It had an area of 1.66 square kilometers. The southern area of the parish included the first Decathlon store in Portugal, integrated in the main shopping areas of the Lisbon metropolitan area. This shopping area also extends to the parishes of Alfragide and Carnaxide. Before the dissolution of the parish, its area was also the location of the headquarters of the Laboratório Nacional de Energia e Geologia (LNEG) and the Directorate-General Environment (DGA).

Monsanto Forest Park (Portuguese: Parque Florestal de Monsanto) is a municipal protected forest in Lisbon, Portugal, the largest green patch in the city, with almost 1000 ha (10 km2). It offers a well diversified tree-covered area to the Portuguese capital. Many species were introduced in the Monsanto Hills (Serra de Monsanto) during the reforesting period. Due to climate and geological characteristics, they created a very interesting ecosystems in the urban patch of Lisbon (and surrounding municipalities). The Ecological Park of Lisbon, located at Monsanto Forest Park, is a meeting point for a new contact with the environment, right in the heart of the Portuguese capital. Its main purpose is to make visitors aware of the many variables of the environment, for instance, geology, climate, flora, and fauna. The Ecological Park, residing inside the Forest Park, has a perimeter of four kilometres, and a total area of fifty hectares, of which sixteen is fenced and thirty four is non-fenced. It spreads over Serra de Monsanto, from Alto da Serafina to the Woods of S. Domingos de Benfica, passes the farm of Marquis de Fronteira and the Lead Shooting Club of Portugal. The Ecological Park runs an Interpretation Centre, with an auditorium, a space for permanent and occasional exhibitions, and a Centre of Multimedia Resources. Quercus, the largest Portuguese non-profit national environment organization for the conservation of the natural environment, is based in Monsanto Park.

The Fort of Monsanto, also known as the Marquês de Sá da Bandeira Fort, is located at the top of the Monsanto hill in the Monsanto Forest Park, in Lisbon, Portugal. Built at the end of the 19th century as part of Lisbon's Campo Entrincheirado (Entrenched Field) defensive ring around the city, the fort is now a maximum-security prison.

The Colombo Centre (Centro Colombo in Portuguese) is a shopping mall located in the parish of Carnide in Lisbon and attracts many visitors. It is situated next to the Lusíada avenue and the Segunda Circular; there is a bus terminal next to the building and the Lisbon Metro station Colégio Militar/Luz allows visitors easy access to Colombo.

Águas Livres is a Portuguese urban civil parish (freguesia) in the municipality of Amadora. The population in 2011 was 37,426. It was created in 2011, incorporating most of the area from the former parishes of Buraca, Damaia, and Reboleira. It is bordered by the parishes of Alfragide, to the south, Falagueira – Venda Nova, to the north, Venteira to the west and Benfica to the east. It takes its name from the most significant landmark in its territory, the Águas Livres Aqueduct.

The Pupilos do Exército (Portuguese for "pupils of the Army") is military vocational education school of Portugal. Presently, its complete official name is Instituto dos Pupilos do Exército (IPE, Institute of the Pupils of the Army). Pupilos do Exército offers Basic (2nd and 3rd cycles) and Secondary Education programmes, in the boarding school (only for young males) and in the day school (for both sexes) systems. Despite operating under the supervision of the Portuguese Army, its Education programmes are considered official for all purposes, by the Portuguese Ministry of Education. Until 2009, Pupilos do Exército used to have also a higher education section that offered bachelor degree programmes in Mechanical, Electronics and Electrical Engineering and in Accounting, but now this section is extinct.

Carnide station is part of the Blue Line of the Lisbon Metro and is located near the Bairro da Horta Nova neighbourhood of Lisbon.
