The Walks

King's Lynn Town Football Club is a football club based in King's Lynn, Norfolk, England. Nicknamed 'The Linnets', they are currently members of the National League North and play at the Walks. They were founded in 2010 as a phoenix club of King's Lynn F.C., which were wound up a year earlier.

King's Lynn Football Club was an English association football club based in King's Lynn, Norfolk. The club was founded in 1881 and they were wound up at the High Court on 25 November 2009 with debts of £77,000, going out of business in December after a failed appeal. The club was re-formed in January 2010 as Lynn FC and later renamed King's Lynn Town.

The Walks is the premier urban park in King's Lynn, Norfolk.

Our Lady of the Annunciation Church is a Roman Catholic parish church in King's Lynn, Norfolk, England. It was built in 1897, but incorporates parts of the former church on the same site that was built in 1845 and designed by Augustus Pugin. It is located on the corner of London Road and North Everard Street in the centre of the town. Its construction was partially paid for by the then Prince of Wales, Edward VII. It was also the national shrine of Our Lady of Walsingham until 1934. It is now a pontifical shrine, and was awarded Grade II listed status in 2022.

King's Lynn railway station is the northern terminus of the Fen line in the east of England, serving the town of King's Lynn, Norfolk. It is 41 miles 47 chains (66.9 km) from Cambridge and 96 miles 75 chains (156.0 km) measured from London Liverpool Street. The station and all trains calling here are operated by Great Northern (with service to and from London King's Cross.) It has been the only station in the town since the closure of South Lynn railway station in 1959.

King Edward VII Academy (known as KES Academy) is a large, mixed comprehensive secondary school in Gaywood Road (A148), King's Lynn, Norfolk, England with around 1,300 pupils, including about 300 in sixth form education. Prior to the school year beginning in September 1979, KES was an all-boys state grammar school. The school became an academy sponsored by the College of West Anglia's CWA Academy Trust in September 2014, but, following the college's withdrawal from school sponsorship in the summer of 2017, it became part of the Eastern Multi-academy Trust. The school joined Inspiration Trust in September 2021.

King's Lynn Academy (formerly "the Park High School") is a 11-16 mixed secondary school in the West Norfolk town of King's Lynn. It is situated on Queen Mary Road in Gaywood; and is one of four schools serving the town and adjacent villages.

King's Lynn, known until 1537 as Bishop's Lynn and colloquially as Lynn, is a port and market town in the borough of King's Lynn and West Norfolk in the county of Norfolk, England. It is located 98 miles (158 km) north of London, 36 miles (58 km) north-east of Peterborough, 44 miles (71 km) north-north-east of Cambridge and 44 miles (71 km) west of Norwich.

St Margaret's Church, King's Lynn, entitled King's Lynn Minster since 2011, is a Grade I listed parish church in the Church of England in King's Lynn. The building dates from the 12th to 15th centuries, with major restoration of the nave in the 18th century. Five of its ten bells and its organ also date back to the mid-18th century.

The Benedictine Priory, King's Lynn, was a medieval monastery in Norfolk, England. It was founded in 1100 in King's Lynn by Herbert de Losinga, bishop of Norwich, as a small monastic house supporting the church of St Margaret founded at the same time. Its rents and profits were remitted for the use of the priory of the Holy Trinity which served Norwich Cathedral, also founded around the same time by Bishop Herbert. The priory at King's Lynn was lucrative for many years but towards the end of its existence the income from it had fallen to less than the cost of maintaining it. The priory was dissolved in 1537. St. Margaret's Church remains as King's Lynn Minster but nothing survives of the priory buildings except for a short length of wall.

King's Lynn and West Norfolk is a local government district with borough status in Norfolk, England. Its council is based in the town of King's Lynn. The district also includes the towns of Downham Market and Hunstanton, along with numerous villages and surrounding rural areas. The population of the district at the 2021 census was 154,325.Part of the borough lies within the Norfolk Coast Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The borough lies on the coast, facing both The Wash to the west and the North Sea to the north. The neighbouring districts are North Norfolk, Breckland, West Suffolk, East Cambridgeshire, Fenland and South Holland.

10–11 Saturday Market Place is an historic building in Saturday Market Place, the main market square in King's Lynn, Norfolk, England. It stands opposite the northern side of King's Lynn Minster, while King's Lynn Town Hall is attached to its western end. Originally a house, built in the 17th century, it has since been various restaurants. It is built of brick which has been rendered and colour-washed. It has a plain-tiled roof, with a central panelled main door, with a secondary one to the right. Between these two doors is a plate-glass sash window, dating to the late 19th century. Two more, modern, windows are located to the left of the main door.The first floor has two late-19th-century sash windows.The building, which has a gabled roof, was altered in the 20th century.
