Rescatemos a David y Miguel

El Caballito, officially Cabeza de caballo ("horse's head"), is an outdoor 28-metre (92 ft) tall steel sculpture by Sebastián (Enrique Carbajal) depicting a horse's head, installed along Mexico City's Paseo de la Reforma, in Mexico. It was dedicated on January 15, 1992.Enrique Carbajal (Sebastian) created the El Caballito monument under the Olmec conception. The El Caballito was installed in front of the Torre del Caballito, a high office building. The monument had to replace the statue of Carlos IV which was removed from there in 1979, and also had to be some kind of chimney that would dissipate the vapors from deep drainage but wouldn't adversely affect the image of the Paseo de la Reforma.

The Escuela de Periodismo Carlos Septién García (EPCSG - School of Journalism Carlos Septién García) was the first Mexican educational institution of journalism. It was founded by Luis Beltrán y Mendoza, and supported by the Acción Católica Mexicana (Mexican Catholic Action), on May 30, 1939, and achieved certification of the Secretaría de Educación Pública on July 2, 1976. The school was named after its second director. Under the leadership of Alejandro Avilés Insunza the school detached itself from the Acción Católica Mexicana and its associated political and ideological tendencies concerning academic freedom.

Puerta 1808 (Spanish for "Gateway") is an outdoor carbon steel sculpture by Manuel Felguérez installed in Mexico City, Mexico. It was inaugurated on 20 October 2007 by Marcelo Ebrard, the head of government, and was placed in the corner of Paseo de la Reforma and Avenida Juárez, in Cuauhtémoc. It is a 15 meters (49 feet) high sculpture that lies on a 2 meters (6 ft 7 in) high plinth. The number in its name represents the year 1808 referencing the country's pre-independence events of 1810. Despite its name, it is an abstract sculpture that is not a traditional gateway-shaped figure. Felguérez said it represents one symbolically as it is the starting point to the historic center of Mexico City. He also dedicated it to Francisco Primo de Verdad y Ramos, a New Spain lawyer imprisoned by the Spanish authorities for his independentist advocacy and who died in a prison in 1808. Puerta 1808 was created specifically for the celebrations of the 200th anniversary of the country's independence.Álvaro Medina, from the Durban Segnini Gallery, described the sculpture as a "structure composed of a pair of triangles, the trunk of a cone divided vertically, a pair of cantilevered arched beams, a tubular linear beam and a few tensors".: 10 Later in his life, Felguérez said about Puerta 1808: "It is a living sculpture: it changes its look in every demonstration; it is colored with the slogans of the nonconformists in turn. And this, far from bothering me or being a grievance for the sculpture, gives it dynamism and validity that will only be exhausted when we live in a fair country and when all social demands have been satisfied. That is to say, never".

The Fuente de la República ('Republic Fountain') is a carbon steel fountain and sculpture installed in Mexico City, Mexico. It was inaugurated on 13 December 2007 by Marcelo Ebrard, the Federal District's head of government, and was placed at the intersection of Avenida Paseo de la Reforma, Avenida Juárez and Avenida Bucareli, in the Cuauhtémoc borough. The fountain was created specifically for the celebrations of the 200th anniversary of the country's independence in 2010. It was designed by Manuel Felguérez, who also designed the Puerta 1808 sculpture found in front of it.

An antimonumento was installed in front of the Superior Court of Justice of Mexico City, on the median strip of Paseo de la Reforma Avenue, in the Cuauhtémoc borough of Mexico City. The work included the installation of a red number 43 made of metal along with a plus symbol, in reference to the forty-three students kidnapped—and possibly killed—in Iguala, Guerrero, in 2014 after being arrested for allegedly committing criminal offenses, plus the six students and witnesses killed during that event, and to honor the more than 150,000 people killed since the start of the Mexican drug war and the 30,000 disappeared persons reported by 2015. The anti-monument was installed by peaceful protesters during a demonstration on 26 April 2015 as a plea for justice and to prevent the case from being forgotten by the authorities and society. The sculpture became the first of its kind in Mexico and would inspire the installation of other guerrilla-like memorials throughout the city and in other states of the country. The artwork was never given an official name and those who installed it referred to it simply as either Antimonumento or +43. After the subsequent installation of other unnamed anti-monuments, like the Antimonumento +65 and the Antimonumento +72, the Antimonumento +43 received its name after its physical characteristics. Demonstrators added the slogan of those seeking justice for the case ("Because they were taken alive, we want them back alive!") to the border of the sidewalk and subsequently installed a complement in front of both elements, a concrete turtle with forty-three rocks on its shell with little turtles painted with the names of each of the disappeared on them.

Avenida Juárez is a street in the Historic Center of Mexico City flanking the south side of the centuries-old Alameda Central park. Originally each block had a different name: Calle de la Puente de San Francisco between San Juan de Letrán (today Eje Central Lázaro Cárdenas) and López, in front of the Palacio de Bellas Artes Calle de Corpus Christi, between López and Nueva (today Luis Moya) Calle del Calvario, between Nueva (today Luis Moya) and San Diego (hoy Dr. Mora) Calle de Patoni between San Diego (today Dr. Mora) and Rosales/Bucareli/Paseo de la ReformaDuring the 1940s through the 1960s it was one of the city's boulevards, lined with upscale shops and hotels. In the 1985 Mexico City earthquake, the Alameda, Del Prado and Regis hotels collapsed or were torn down.The street runs between the intersection of Paseo de la Reforma and Avenida Bucareli, marked by Sebastián's sculpture known as El Caballito, and Eje 1 Central, east of which it becomes Madero Street, the city's busiest pedestrian street.

The Esquina de la Información (lit. transl. Information Corner) refers to the intersection of Paseo de la Reforma and Avenida Bucareli, in Colonia Juárez, Mexico City. The name originated after the former Excélsior newspaper headquarters building and, by extension, the El Universal newspaper headquarters, located across the street. Both are among the largest newspaper companies in Mexico. The intersection converges in an area with multiple landmarks, including the Antimonumento +43 memorial, the El Caballito sculpture, the Fuente de la República fountain roundabout, the National Lottery Building (called Edificio El Moro), the Puerta 1808 sculpture, the Tax Administration Service Headquarters (the Torre del Caballito), and the Rescatemos a David y Miguel memorial. The El Caballito BRT station services the area.

Sueño de una tarde dominical en la Alameda Central or Dream of a Sunday Afternoon at Alameda Central Park is a mural created by Diego Rivera. It was painted between the years 1946 and 1947, and is the principal work of the Museo Mural Diego Rivera adjacent to the Alameda in the historic center of Mexico City.

Hidalgo is a station on Line 2 and Line 3 of the Mexico City Metro system. It is located in the Cuauhtémoc borough of Mexico City, west of the city center, on Hidalgo Avenue and serves the Colonia Tabacalera, Colonia Guerrero, and Colonia Centro districts.

The statue of Vicente Guerrero, a hero of independence and president of Mexico until he was driven from the presidency by conservatives, was installed in Mexico City's Plaza de San Fernando, in 1870. The installation follows the defeat of Mexican conservatives and reestablishment of the republic under liberal control. The bronze sculpture was created from the model in plaster by Mexican sculptor, Miguel Noreña (1839-1894). Noreña is best known for his sculpture topping the Monument to Cuauhtémoc, the last Aztec emperor.

The Plaza de la Solidaridad is a plaza located in Mexico City, Mexico, adjacent to the Alameda Central. During the sixteenth century, the area in which the park is now located was on the outskirts of the city. When the city grew and urbanized, the Convent of San Diego occupied the space.A sculpture in the center of the square simultaneously commemorates the victims that lost their lives and honors the first responders of the 1985 Mexico City earthquake.
