The Krylov State Research Center (Russian: Крыловский государственный научный центр) is a Russian shipbuilding research and development institute, which operates as a federal state-owned unitary enterprise. The institute is named after Aleksey Krylov, the Russian naval designer and mathematician who was one of its first superintendents, and is based in Saint Petersburg.

Shushary (Russian: Шуша́ры, from Finnish Suosaari, "marshy island") is a municipal settlement in Pushkinsky District of the federal city of St. Petersburg, Russia, located on the slopes of the Pulkovo Heights. Population: 22,652 (2010 Census); 15,843 (2002 Census); 4,789 (1989 Census).Shushary gained importance in 1838 as the location of the first railway siding in the Russian Empire and one of the first railway stations in the country. A living-history steam-engine museum chronicles the town's long association with the Russian Railways. In the beginning of the 21st century, Shushary was transformed into an industrial area comprising automotive plants such as Toyota, General Motors (now owned by Hyundai), and Magna International.

Zvyozdnaya (Russian: Звёздная) is a station on the Moskovsko-Petrogradskaya Line of the Saint Petersburg Metro. It was opened on December 25, 1972. It was designed by K.N. Afonskya, A.C. Getskin and V.P. Shuvalova. In the original blueprints, the station was called "Imeni Lensoveta" (Soviet of Leningrad Honorary station).

Municipal Okrug 75 (Russian: Муниципальный округ № 75) is a municipal okrug in Frunzensky District, one of the eighty-one low-level municipal divisions of the federal city of St. Petersburg, Russia. As of the 2010 Census, its population was 50,757.

Prospekt Slavy (Russian: Проспект Славы (Avenue of Glory) ) is a Saint Petersburg Metro station on the Frunzensko–Primorskaya Line (Line 5) of the Saint Petersburg Metro. It was opened on 3 October 2019 as a part of the extension of the line to the south from Mezhdunarodnaya. The extension also included Dunayskaya and Shushary stations. Prospect Slavy is located between Mezhdunarodnaya and Dunayskaya.Prospekt Slavy is built under the corner of Bukharestskaya Street and Slavy Avenue, in Frunzensky District.

Dunayskaya (Russian: Дунайская) is a Saint Petersburg Metro station on the Frunzensko-Primorskaya Line (Line 5) of the Saint Petersburg Metro. It was opened on 3 October 2019 as a part of the extension of the line to the south from Mezhdunarodnaya. The extension also included Prospekt Slavy and Shushary stations. Dunayskaya is between Prospekt Slavy and Shushary.The station is in the Balkansky Okrug of the Frunzensky District of Saint Petersburg at the corner of Bukharestskaya Ulitsa and Dunaysky Prospekt. It takes its name from Dunaysky Prospekt, which is named for the Danube River.

Mezhdunarodnaya (Russian: Международная) (literally - international) is a Saint Petersburg Metro station on the Frunzensko-Primorskaya Line (Line 5) of the Saint Petersburg Metro. It was opened on December 28, 2012 together with Bukharestskaya as an extension of the Frunzensko-Primorskaya Line. It was the southeastern terminus of the line until 3 October 2019, when an extension of the line to the south with three stations, Prospekt Slavy, Dunayskaya, and Shushary, was opened.Mezhdunarodnaya is built under the corner of Bukharestskaya Street and Bely Kuna Street, in Frunzensky District. The name of the station means International and originates from the fact that many streets in the area (including these two) have been named to commemorate Eastern European politicians or cities. Mezhdunarodnaya is a column-wall station. The construction started in 1986 but was frozen, and restarted in the 2000s. It was originally planned to be opened in August 2012, but the opening was postponed until December 2012, since the escalators were not delivered on time.The entrance to the station is built into a shopping mall that goes under the similar name - "Mezhdunarodny".

Frunzensky District (Russian: Фру́нзенский райо́н) is a district of the federal city of St. Petersburg, Russia. As of the 2010 Census, its population: was 401,779; down from 405,274 recorded in the 2002 Census.

Shosseynaya railway station (Russian: Станция Шоссейная) is a railway station in October Railway in Saint Petersburg. It is located in the Moskovsky District of Saint Petersburg at the intersection of Pulkovo Highway and Ring Road. The name given to Kiev (now this part is called Pulkovo) highway. It was originally located on the Warsaw branch north of the current location. The base station acts as a cargo station. For the employees of the station on it stops the passing of the trains, embarkation and disembarkation are made from official vestibule of the head car. In 1967, when the Warsaw railway line merged with the Baltic, dismantling the railway on Warsaw street. Platform "Airport" was opened on the connecting line, located on the other side of the Kiev highway. After that, the station was used only for cargo. Apparently, in the same period, the station moved to the south of the former location. According to the station it was given the original name of the airport of Leningrad (now "Pulkovo") - highway.

The St. Petersburg Open (Russian: Открытый Санкт-Петербург) is a professional men's tennis tournament played on indoor hard courts. It is part of the ATP Tour 250 series of the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) Tour. The tournament was held annually at the Petersburg Sports and Concert Complex in St. Petersburg, Russia, since 1995. The tournament takes place in mid to late September, following the conclusion of the US Open. The singles competition features 28 male competitors, while the doubles one features 16 duo teams. The competition has a total prize money pool of $1,180,000 USD.2002 Australian Open champion Thomas Johansson and former World No. 1s Marat Safin and Andy Murray are the only players to have won the singles titles more than once. Five Russian players have won the singles title: Yevgeny Kafelnikov in 1995, Marat Safin in 2000 and 2001, Mikhail Youzhny in 2004, Daniil Medvedev in 2019, and Andrey Rublev in 2020. The event was not held in 2014 but resumed in 2015, at the Sibur Arena. The event was exceptionally held as an ATP 500 tournament in the 2020 edition.In reaction to the 2022 Russian invasion of Ukraine, the ATP moved the 2022 St. Petersburg Open from Saint Petersburg to Kazakhstan.

The Saint Petersburg Sports and Concert Complex (Russian: Спортивно-концертный комплекс «Петербургский», romanized: Sportivno-kontsertnyy kompleks «Peterburgskiy») was an arena in Saint Petersburg, Russia.

SKA Arena (Russian: СКА Арена) is a multi-purpose indoor arena in Saint Petersburg, Russia. Opened in 2023, it is the home arena of SKA Saint Petersburg of the Kontinental Hockey League. With a capacity of 21,500 for ice hockey games, it is the largest hockey arena in the world, surpassing the Bell Centre in Montreal. The arena was originally planned to host games for the 2023 IIHF World Championship, but, in April 2022, the IIHF stripped Russia's hosting rights while the International Olympic Committee (IOC) called for Russia and Belarus to be stripped of hosting rights to all international sporting events due to the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
