The Detroit–Columbia Central Office Building is a building located at 52 Selden Street in Midtown Detroit, Michigan. It is also known as the Michigan Bell Telephone Exchange. The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1997.

The Willis Avenue Station is a steam production plant used in Detroit's district steam heating system. The plant is located at 50 West Willis Street, near Woodward Avenue, in the center of the city's Midtown Detroit neighborhood. Built and owned by the Detroit Edison Company, it was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1997.

The Majestic Theatre is a theatre located at 4126-4140 Woodward Avenue in Midtown Detroit, Michigan. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2008.Today, the theatre is mainly a music venue. It hosts a variety of musical concerts in three separate areas of the building: The Majestic, The Majestic Cafe, and The Magic Stick.

The Garden Bowl is a 16-lane Brunswick bowling alley located at 4104–4120 Woodward Avenue in Midtown Detroit, Michigan. It is the oldest continuously operating bowling alley in the country. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2008.

The Detroit School of Arts (DSA), originally known as the Detroit High School for the Fine and Performing Arts, is a public, magnet high school located in Midtown Detroit, Michigan.The Detroit School of Arts is a part of the Detroit Public Schools district. Entrance to Detroit School of Arts is based on an audition that takes place at the end of a student's eighth grade year. Students are required to declare a major of study i.e. Dance, Theatre, Instrumental Music, etc. It is one of four magnet schools in Detroit, where the others are Renaissance High School, Cass Technical High School and Communication & Media Arts High School. Entrance is based on test scores and middle school grades.

The Graystone Ballroom was a dance hall located at 4237 Woodward Avenue in Detroit, Michigan, United States. Billed as "Detroit's Million Dollar Ballroom", it opened its doors on March 7, 1922 with a floorplan designed to hold 3,000 people, making it the largest ballroom of the city at that point. It would become one of the six great ballrooms of the city before the stock market crash of 1929 put a halt to new construction. The others were the Jefferson Ballroom, the Grande Ballroom, the Monticello Ballroom, the Beach Ballroom, the Vanity Ballroom, and the Mirror Ballroom.In 1980, after decades of decay, neglect, and occupation by vandals, the building was demolished to make way for a McDonald’s location which still stands today.

Midtown Detroit is a commercial and residential district located along the east and west side of Woodward Avenue, north of Downtown Detroit, and south of the New Center area. The area includes several historic districts. In addition, it contains a residential area of some 14,550 people and covers 2.09 sq mi. The community area of neighborhoods is bounded by the Chrysler Freeway (I-75) on the east, the Lodge Freeway (M-10) on the west, the Edsel Ford Freeway (I-94) on the north, and the Fisher Freeway (I-75) on the south.

The Graybar Electric Company Building is located at 55 West Canfield Street in Midtown Detroit, Michigan. This warehouse building was rented to the Graybar Electric Company from 1926 into the 1940s. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1997.

Sts. Peter and Paul Academy is a Catholic school building located at 64 Parsons Street in Midtown Detroit, Michigan. It currently serves as the St. Patrick Senior Center. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1997.

The Professional Plaza Tower, also known as the 'Hammer and Nail' building due to its two iconic illuminated signs (now removed), is a high-rise building located at 3800 Woodward Avenue in Midtown Detroit, Michigan. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2016.

The Chapel of St. Theresa–the Little Flower was a church located at 58 Parsons Street in Midtown Detroit, Michigan. It was later known as St. Patrick Church. The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1997, and demolished in September 2023.
