Holy Rosary Historic District

The Masonic Temple in Kansas City, Missouri is a Neo-Classical Architecture building in the Beaux-Arts architecture tradition. Designed by J.C. Sunderland, the Masonic Cornerstone was laid October 8, 1910 and the building held a public dedication ceremony on September 30, 1911.Harry S. Truman and Bess Truman danced in the 6,600 square foot Tiffany Ballroom which prominently features plaster columns and an impressive Tiffany glass window array.The Kansas City Masonic Temple was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1980 and as a film location with the Missouri Film Commission in 2013. A restoration project was launched in 2017 to restore and preserve the building for future generations.

The Library's Ramos Collection includes books, pamphlets, journal articles, and other materials relating to African-American history and culture.

The United States Courthouse and Post Office, also known as Federal Courts Building, is a historic courthouse and post office located at Kansas City in Jackson County, Missouri. It was formerly the courthouse of the United States District Court for the Western District of Missouri.

The Buick Automobile Company Building, at 216 Admiral Blvd. in Kansas City, Missouri, was built in 1907. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2004.It is a three-story brick building with elements of Tudor Revival style. It is supported bycast-iron columns, steel girders and heavy timbered joists, and was designed by architect Frank S. Rea. A three-story brick addition was added around 1934, and a two-story extension to the rear was added in 1958.The building included an automobile showroom on the first floor, auto repair shops in the basement and on the third floor, and a garage on the second floor.

The Arabia Steamboat Museum is a history museum in Kansas City, Missouri, housing artifacts salvaged from the Arabia, a steamboat that sank in the Missouri River in 1856. The 30,000-square-foot museum opened on November 13, 1991, in the Kansas City River Market. The partners of River Salvage Inc., who excavated the Arabia and opened the museum, claim to have the largest single collection of pre-Civil War artifacts in the world.

The Heart of America Bridge is a vehicular girder bridge over the Missouri River, in Kansas City, Missouri. It carries Route 9. It was the vehicular replacement for the upper level of the ASB Bridge, and runs next to it a few hundred yards downstream. It was opened in 1987. In September 2010, a bi-directional bicycle and pedestrian path, separated from motorized traffic, was opened on the northbound span of the Heart of America Bridge. It is the first separated pedestrian crossing of the Missouri River in the Kansas City area. The Engineer of Record for this project is Burns & McDonnell Engineering Company.

The Gillis Opera House, later rebuilt and renamed to the Gillis Building, was an opera house in Kansas City, Missouri. It was designed by Asa Beebe Cross and was commissioned by Mary Ann Gillis, the niece of William Gillis, who is also the namesake for the building.

The National Garage in Kansas City, Missouri is a building from 1930. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2000. It was demolished in 2004.

The Western Union Telegraph Building in Kansas City, Missouri, is a former telecommunications building from 1920. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2003.
