Tsuen Wan station

Tsuen Wan New Town is a new town in Hong Kong. It spans Tsuen Wan, Kwai Chung and the eastern part of Tsing Yi Island. Traditionally, the administrative officials of Tsuen Wan managed the area of Tsuen Wan proper, Kwai Chung, Tsing Yi Island, Ma Wan and Northeast Lantau Island. Its total development area is about 24 square kilometres (9.3 sq mi). The population of the new town is approximately 801,800, with the planned capacity being 845,000.Development of the Tsuen Wan satellite town commenced in the 1950s, along with Kwun Tong satellite town. In 1961, the government of Hong Kong decided to expand the satellite town into neighbouring Kwai Chung and Tsing Yi, and Tsuen Wan New Town was established as the first new town in Hong Kong. In 1982, the Tsuen Wan District was created under the District Administration Scheme. In 1985, with the explosion of population in the new town, Kwai Chung and Tsing Yi were spun off to form the new Kwai Tsing District. Thus, the town is now under two administrative districts. In some recent official reports, Kwai Chung New Town and Tsing Yi New Town are separated from Tsuen Wan New Town.Despite being a part of the New Territories, the town is also considered a part of the Hong Kong metro area by the Planning Department and Urban Renewal Authority. Along with Hong Kong Island and Kowloon, it is the only area in the New Territories classified as the core urban area of Hong Kong. Part of this is because the town was developed early and is not geographically separated from Kowloon by hills. Also, there are no New Territories taxis service within most parts of the town, unlike other new towns in the New Territories.

Luk Yeung Galleria (Chinese: 綠楊坊), formally known as Luk Yeung Sun Chuen Mall, is one of the largest shopping centres in Tsuen Wan, New Territories, Hong Kong, located in Luk Yeung Sun Chuen, above MTR Tsuen Wan station. It has a total area of 16,500 square metres (178,000 sq ft).It was developed in 1983 by a consortium of property developers, including MTR Corporation, Hong Kong Land, Jardine Matheson Holdings and Kiu Kwong.

Nan Fung Centre (Chinese: 南豐中心) is a commercial and shopping centre in Castle Peak Road, Tsuen Wan, New Territories, Hong Kong, located nearby the MTR Tsuen Wan station and a bus terminus at its ground floor. It was developed by Nan Fung Group in 1983 and it is one of the earliest large-scale commercial centres in the district.

Luk Yeung Sun Chuen (Chinese: 綠楊新邨) is a private housing estate adjacent to the MTR Tsuen Wan station, Tsuen Wan, New Territories, Hong Kong. It comprises 17 high-rise buildings with a total of 4000 flats. It was developed in 1983 and 1984 by a consortium of property developers, including MTR Corporation, Hong Kong Land, Jardine Matheson Holdings, Kiu Kwong Investment and Dah Sing Group.The MTR Tsuen Wan Depot is located underneath Luk Yeung Sun Chuen.

Tsuen Wan Public Library (Chinese: 荃灣公共圖書館) is located in Tsuen Wan, New Territories, Hong Kong. Opened in 1993, it is one of the major libraries of the Hong Kong Public Libraries system.

KOLOUR‧Tsuen Wan (Chinese: 荃灣千色匯) is a private housing estate and shopping mall in Tsuen Wan Town, New Territories, Hong Kong. Its phase 1 (previously named as Tsuen Wan City Landmark I, Chinese: 荃灣城市中心I, opened in 1996) and phase 2 (previously named as Tsuen Wan City Landmark II Chinese: 荃灣城市中心II or Tsuen Wan Town Square Chinese: 荃灣城市廣場, opened in 1989) are located at Chung On Street and Castle Peak Road respectively, and they were developed by Henderson Land Development.The shopping mall in phase 1 and 2 covers the total area of 330,000 square feet (31,000 m2). Two phases are connected by air-conditioned pedestrian footbridge. The largest tenant of the shopping mall is Citistore Tsuen Wan Branch, which has been regarded as one of the landmarks in Tsuen Wan Town Centre. Citistore is also the subsidiary of Henderson Land Development.

Muk Min Ha (Chinese: 木棉下村) is a village in Tsuen Wan District, Hong Kong.

The Sam Tung Uk Museum is a museum restored from Sam Tung Uk (三棟屋; 'three-beam-dwelling', which describes the original floorplan), a Hakka walled village in Tsuen Wan, Hong Kong.

Tsuen Wan Environmental Resource Centre is housed in Old House, Hoi Pa Village, in Tak Wah Park, Tak Wah Street, Tsuen Wan, Hong Kong.

Cheung Pei Shan Road (Chinese: 象鼻山路) is a road near Cheung Pei Shan in Tsuen Wan and Sheung Kwai Chung of Hong Kong. It links the north edge of town centre of Tsuen Wan New Town to Shing Mun, from Tsuen Kam Interchange with Route Twisk, Tai Ho Road North, Wai Tsuen Road and Texaco Road North to the entrance of the Shing Mun Tunnels. The road is part of Route 9. North of the road are resited villages from the old town of Tsuen Wan and Cheung Pei Shan; to its south are public housing estates: Lei Muk Shue Estate, Cheung Shan Estate and Shek Wai Kok Estate.

Tsuen Wan Government Secondary School (TWGSS; Chinese: 荃灣官立中學 or 荃官 in short) is an English-language (EMI) co-education secondary school located at 70 Hoi Pa Street, Tsuen Wan, Hong Kong. The school building consists of the hall, the laboratory wing, the classroom wing, and the new wing (completed in 2003). Ms. Tang Suk Ching is the current principal of the school, beginning her term in September 2016.

Yan Chai Hospital (Chinese: 仁濟醫院; Cantonese Yale: Yàhnjai Yīyún) is an acute hospital under the Kowloon West Cluster of the Hospital Authority, providing acute and extended care services to the Tsuen Wan community and its neighbouring areas. The hospital was founded by the Yan Chai Hospital Board of Directors in 1973.
