Jazz à Juan is an annual jazz festival in Juan-les-Pins, Antibes, France. New Orleans, Louisiana, widely recognized as the "Birthplace of Jazz," is a sister city, and as a result, carnival festivities in Juan-les-Pins, including both local and New Orleans jazz bands parading through the streets, have served for years to embody that connection. Along the Boulevard Edouard Baudoin, which runs behind the seaside stage that hosts the annual jazz festival, ceramic tiles containing handprints of more than 50 musicians who have played at the festival dot the sidewalk. Among those enshrined on the boulevard are Al Jarreau, B.B. King, Chick Corea, Clark Terry, Dave Brubeck, Dee Dee Bridgewater, Eddy Louiss, Elvin Jones, Fats Waller, Grant Green, George Benson, Hank Jones, Jack DeJohnette, Gary Peacock, Joshua Redman, Keith Jarrett, Little Richard, Milt Jackson, Oscar Peterson, Pat Metheny, Pink Floyd, Ravi Coltrane, Ray Charles, Richard Galliano, Roy Haynes, Shirley Horn, Sonny Rollins, Stéphane Grappelli, Stevie Wonder and Wynton Marsalis. The Miles Davis album 1969 Miles – Festiva De Juan Pins was recorded at the 1969 edition of the festival.

The Jardin botanique de la Villa Thuret (3.5 hectares (8.6 acres)) is a renowned botanical garden located on the grounds of the Villa Thuret, 90, chemin Raymond, Antibes Juan-les-Pins, Alpes-Maritimes, Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur, France. It is open weekdays without charge.

Juan-les-Pins (French pronunciation: ​[ʒɥɑ̃ le pɛ̃]; Occitan: Joan dei Pins) is a town in the commune of Antibes in the Alpes-Maritimes department in Southeastern France. Located on the French Riviera, it is situated between Nice and Cannes, 13 kilometres (8 mi) to the southwest of Nice Côte d'Azur Airport. The villa Aujourd’hui is a Modernist villa built by the American architect Barry Dierks (1899-1960) for the Palm Beach, Florida socialite, Mrs. Audrey Chadwick. Located in Antibes and built in 1938, the villa Aujourd’hui is one of the most distinctive of Dierks’ Riviera homes and was one of the last expressions of the Modernist style to have been built on the Riviera prior to the outbreak of World War II.

The Hôtel du Cap-Eden-Roc is a resort hotel in Antibes on the French Riviera. Built in 1869 as a private mansion, it opened as a hotel in 1889.

The siege of Antibes took place in the winter of 1746–47, during the War of the Austrian Succession. A combined Austro-Savoyard army, commanded by Maximilian Ulysses Browne, invaded France and laid siege to Antibes on the French Mediterranean coast. Despite having British naval support, the Allies failed to capture the town, and after two months Browne's army was forced to lift the siege and retreat back over the border into Savoy.
