Kilburn Lane

Queen's Park is an interchange station on the Watford DC line and Bakerloo line served by London Overground and London Underground respectively. It lies at the southern end of Salusbury Road, near the south-east corner of the public park from which the area now known as Queens Park has taken its modern name. The station is in Travelcard Zone 2.

Brondesbury Park is a suburb and electoral ward of the London Borough of Brent. It is the part of Brondesbury which is not interwoven with Kilburn due to the naming of a major tube station (Kilburn) and is centred on Brondesbury Park railway station and the street, an avenue, which shares its name. The area has a number of open spaces, primarily Queen's Park and Tiverton Green.

The Flora, also known as The Flora Hotel, is a pub at 525 Harrow Road, Kensal Green, London W10. It backs onto the Grand Union Canal. It is a Taylor Walker pub. As of December 2017, the pub is closed and boarded up. Planning consent has been given to convert the upper floors into residential use, a roof extension, and a five-storey building where the beer garden was, and with the ground floor to continue as a pub.

Kilburn Grammar School was an English grammar school which opened in 1898 in Kilburn, north-west London. The school ceased to exist in 1967.

Brondesbury Park railway station is a National Rail station in Brondesbury Park in the London Borough of Brent on the North London Line in Travelcard Zone 2 which is managed by London Overground. It is close to the Queen's Park area.

Dissenters' Chapel, Kensal Green, is a working chapel with gallery attached in Kensal Green Cemetery, North Kensington, London. It is recorded in the National Heritage List for England as a designated Grade II* listed building, and is under the care of the Historic Chapels Trust.

Kilburn is an area of north west London, England, which spans the boundary of three London Boroughs: Camden to the east, City of Westminster, and Brent to the west. There is also an area in the City of Westminster, known as West Kilburn and sometimes treated as a distinct locality. Kilburn High Road railway station lies 3.5 miles (5.6 km) north-west of Charing Cross. Kilburn developed from a linear hamlet that grew up on ancient Watling Street (the modern A5 Road), the hamlet took its name from Kilburn Priory, which was built on the banks of Kilburn Brook. Watling Street forms the contemporary boundary between the boroughs of Brent and Camden. The area has London's highest Irish population, as well as a sizable Afro-Caribbean population. The area is identified in the London Plan as one of 35 major centres in Greater London.

Emslie Horniman's Pleasance is a park in Kensal Town, in the Borough of Kensington and Chelsea, London. It is named after Emslie John Horniman the MP for Chelsea (of which Kensal Town was then an exclave) who created it. It opened in 1914. The park is the traditional starting point for the Notting Hill Carnival.The Pleasance contains a notable walled garden in the Arts and Crafts style, designed for Horniman by C.F.A. Voysey and Madeline Agar. Voysey's walls and shelters are Grade II listed on the National Heritage List for England.It is located on Bosworth Road, Kensal Town, on the southern side of the Grand Union Canal, near to Notting Hill. The nearest tube station is Westbourne Park. The park also contains tennis courts, five-a-side football pitches, a hard play area and a children's playground.

Kensal House is a housing estate of two curved blocks of 68 housing association flats at the northern end of Ladbroke Grove, London, completed in 1937 and designed by the architect Maxwell Fry. It was the first modernist block in the UK designed to be occupied by the working class and on completion in 1937, was widely thought to be a prototype for modern living.

Brondesbury College for Boys is a selective independent school for boys situated in Brent, London, England. It was founded by Yusuf Islam (formerly the pop star Cat Stevens) in 1996, as part of the Waqf Al-Birr Educational Trust, to provide an education institution for young Muslim students in the United Kingdom. Brondesbury College performs well in Brent and also nationally with an 83% 5+ A* - C pass rate in GCSE as of 2014. BCB's current head master is Mr Amzad Ali, who succeeded Mr Salahuddin Clifton. A 2012 Ofsted inspection awarded Brondesbury College as 'Good' in all inspected aspects. The inspection stated that "The English curriculum is a particular strength of the school but the focus of Quranic lessons is not always clear." Brondesbury college caters for years 7 to 11, primary school education is provided for at the government funded Islamia Primary School.Recently, the 2018 Ofsted inspection awarded Brondesbury College as 'Outstanding' in all aspects. One of the main points were that ''Leaders and trustees are highly ambitious for pupils and are determined that the school continues to improve. They ensure that all of the independent school standards are met''.
