The Hempel Hotel was a luxury 5-star hotel in London, England. It was located at 31-35 Craven Hill Gardens to the north of Hyde Park off Bayswater Road. It was a small boutique hotel with Zen inspiration, designed by Anouska Hempel. The design of each of the 40 rooms and 10 apartments centered on minimalistic art and the color white, and it also featured a zen garden. The hotel was a favourite of Victoria Beckham and of Michael Jackson, who reserved the entire hotel during a stay there in 2006.The hotel was sold in January 2013 to British Land before being demolished to make way for 18 luxury apartments, opened in 2016.

Craven Hill Gardens is a classical, Victorian, residential garden estate which has two small garden squares, the green subset of squares in London. It is in Bayswater, in its Lancaster Gate neighbourhood, south-west of contemporary Paddington of which those districts were once part. It is made up of four rows of residential buildings lining its three streets, and eastern returns, between 160 and 250 metres north of Hyde Park. The western return of this street configuration is partly Leinster Gardens and partly named Leinster Terrace. Numbers 13–23, the higher numbers of Craven Hill – a continuation street – face its larger private garden, one block of which is a listed building. A 1960s block known as Corringham forms its second architecturally exceptional building and has a large private garden, the secondary garden. Both gardens have trees surrounding. The estate was a semi-rural possession of the Lords Craven in the 18th century.

Bayswater Road is the main road running along the northern edge of Hyde Park in London. Originally part of the A40 road, it is now designated part of the A402 road.

Queen's Gardens, Westminster is a garden square in the Bayswater district of the City of Westminster in London. The square was built in the 1850s along with the rest of the area, another notable garden square being Cleveland Gardens, with all being built by William Frederick Cleveland of Maida Vale who developed many plots in Paddington and Bayswater.Queen's Gardens was built around 1855.

The Douglas House, London was a US servicemen's club operated by the United States Air Force for twenty-five years at two different locations in London's West End. The club's purpose was to provide "home-style service" for the thousands of American airmen based in the United Kingdom and US servicemen of all branches who might be passing through. The first location opened after the Second World War in Mayfair. In 1959 the Douglas House was relocated to Lancaster Gate, near Hyde Park. In the early 1960s, its nightclub served as a springboard for the budding career of a nascent London band called the Detours, that later went on to greater fame as The Who. When the club closed in 1970, the property was sold to a private firm.

Cleveland Square is a private and gated garden square in the predominantly classically conserved Bayswater district of the City of Westminster, north of Central London's Hyde Park. The housing is in tall, tree-shaded rows, stuccoed and with pillared porches, with some discreet infilling of other housing behind. The square was built in the 1850s along with Cleveland Gardens and Cleveland Terrace. They are likely named after the speculator and development manager William Frederick Cleveland of Maida Vale who worked across the broader area of Paddington, particularly its formerly semi-independent farmstead (and reputed manor) of Bayswater.The homes and manicured, landscaped communal gardens were built around 1855, and were designed for short-term rental and long leases by the upper echelons of international society. The small River Westbourne ran under the west end of the square.The most lavish use of space of the overall area was in Cleveland Square, where the north side was made to be the only one not separated by the quiet road from the gardens, and enjoyed a further small green across its road to the north. Houses on the other sides were leased between 1852 and 1854 to Henry de Bruno Austin, a land-developer active in Paddington and later in outer suburbs.

Park Modern is an under construction £450m mixed use development in Queensway, London, overlooking Kensington Gardens, at 117-125 Bayswater Road. Construction will start in October 2018, once demolition of an existing hostel is complete, and will take three years. The 190,000 sq ft development will include 57 flats, priced from £2 to £30 million.The developer is Fenton Whelan. The development has attracted controversy for it lack of affordable housing.

The Lancasters is a residential development in London, England, with 77 apartments, the majority of which face south with views onto or across Hyde Park.

Hallfield Primary School is a two–form-entry co-educational primary school housed in a building of architectural distinction. It is a grade II* listed building in Inverness Terrace on the Hallfield Estate in London, built in 1953–1955 and designed by Denys Lasdun.

Porchester Gardens is a street in the Bayswater area of London. Located in the City of Westminster, it runs east to west and crosses Queensway. Like several streets in the area it was developed by Edward Orme. In 1879 the engineer R. E. B. Crompton lit his house by electricity, effectively the first in London to do so. The department store Whiteleys was located where the two streets joined before its closure. The road features a mixture of residential and commercial properties. At the eastern end, Porchester Terrace runs southwards to Kensington Gardens while in the west it ultimately merges into Kensington Gardens Square and Leinster Square. Moscow Road runs parallel to the south for much of the route.
