Northmount High School is a defunct English-language secondary school which was operated by the Protestant School Board of Greater Montreal in the Côte-des-Neiges area of Montreal, Quebec, Canada. It opened in 1957. It was later known as Shadd Academy. In its early years the school was predominantly Jewish, and later predominantly Caribbean.

Plamondon station is a Montreal Metro station in the borough of Côte-des-Neiges–Notre-Dame-de-Grâce in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. It is operated by the Société de transport de Montréal (STM) and serves the Orange Line. It is located in the Snowdon neighbourhood of Côte-des-Neiges–Notre-Dame-de-Grâce. It opened on June 29, 1982 and replaced Côte-Sainte-Catherine station as the Orange Line's western terminus until the extension to Du Collège station was completed in 1984.

Namur station is a Montreal Metro station in the borough of Côte-des-Neiges–Notre-Dame-de-Grâce in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. It is operated by the Société de transport de Montréal (STM) and serves the Orange Line. It is located in the Côte-des-Neiges area. This station has a total of 428 parking spaces in two nearby parking lots.

The Baron de Hirsch Cemetery, also known as the Baron de Hirsch Affiliated Cemeteries, Baron de Hirsch United Cemeteries and Baron de Hirsch Memorial Park, is a Jewish cemetery located on the north side of De la Savane Street, between Mountain Sights Avenue and Kindersley Avenue in the Côte-des-Neiges neighborhood of Montreal, Quebec, Canada. Since its establishment in 1892, an estimated 55,000 people have been interred in these grounds.

MindGeek (formerly Manwin) is a Luxembourg-based, privately held company with Canada as its center of operations that primarily focuses on pornography. It is owned by Feras Antoon, Bernd Bergmair (Bernard Bergemar), David Marmorstein, and — more recently — by Leonardo DaSilva and operates many popular streaming websites, as well as film production companies Digital Playground, Men.com, Reality Kings, Sean Cody, and WhyNotBi.com, among others. MindGeek is headquartered in Luxembourg, and maintains additional offices in Bucharest, Dublin, London, Los Angeles, and Montreal. A spokesperson for the company stated that they are "one of the top five bandwidth consumption companies in the world".MindGeek has been subject to a number of lawsuits and filed litigation against its competitors. They were sued in California for hosting non-consensual pornography produced by GirlsDoPorn, which coerced women into appearing in their videos under false pretenses. In January 2021, a class action lawsuit making similar claims was launched in Montreal for anyone who had pornography photos and videos, some of which may have been taken when they were underage, shared on MindGeek's sites without their consent, since 2007. The lawsuit stated that MindGeek knowingly did not "investigate or question its business partner regarding the mounting evidence of sex trafficking". In February 2021, a U.S.-based civil class action lawsuit was launched against MindGeek on behalf of child sex trafficking victims whose child sexual abuse material was uploaded to Pornhub. Many journalistic outlets accuse the company of having a monopoly over the online pornography industry, with 3 out of the 10 most popular online pornography sites owned by MindGeek.In June 2022, the company confirmed the resignation of its CEO, Feras Antoon, and its COO, co-founder David Tassillo.

The Gibeau Orange Julep restaurant (also known colloquially as OJ or The Big Orange or The Julep) is a roadside attraction and fast food restaurant in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. The building is in the shape of an orange, three stories high, with a diameter of 12.3 metres (40 ft).

Glenmount (previously known as Mount Enterprises) is a small residential neighbourhood located in the borough of Côte-des-Neiges–Notre-Dame-de-Grâce in the city of Montreal. Glenmount is bordered by the Town of Mount Royal (TMR) to the north, east and west, and by Côte-des-Neiges, marked by Jean-Talon Boulevard and the Canadian Pacific railway tracks to its south. There are about 1,300 people who live in the 75 acre neighbourhood.

The Reginald J. P. Dawson Library (French: Bibliothèque Reginald-J.-P.-Dawson) is the public library of Mount Royal, Quebec, Canada. It was founded in 1952 and moved to its current facility at 1967 Graham street in 1967. In 1976 it was named after the mayor of the city, Reginald J.P. Dawson, who was in office from 1951 to 1987. The building was expanded in 2012–2013 from 1,700 to 3,100 square metres using plans by architect Pierre Morency. The library was computerized in 1998.

Mont-Royal is a provincial electoral district in Quebec, Canada that elects members to the National Assembly of Quebec. It is located within the island of Montreal, and comprises the city of Mount Royal and part of the Côte-des-Neiges–Notre-Dame-de-Grâce borough of Montreal. It was created for the 1973 election from parts of D'Arcy-McGee, Dorion and Outremont electoral districts. In the change from the 2001 to the 2011 electoral map, its territory was unchanged. Following the change in the 2017 electoral map, the riding will be dissolved into D'Arcy-McGee and the new riding of Mont-Royal–Outremont.

In May 2012, Jun Lin (December 30, 1978 – May 24/25, 2012), a university student, was fatally stabbed and dismembered in Montreal, Canada, by Luka Rocco Magnotta, who then mailed Lin's hands and feet to elementary schools and federal political party offices. After a video depicting the murder was posted online, Magnotta fled Canada, becoming the subject of an Interpol Red Notice and prompting an international manhunt. In June 2012, he was arrested in an internet café in Berlin. In December 2014, after eight days of deliberations, a jury convicted him of first-degree murder. Magnotta was given a mandatory life sentence and 19 years for other charges, to be served concurrently. Magnotta was previously sought by animal rights groups for uploading videos of himself killing kittens.

The Montreal Holocaust Museum (French: Musée de l'Holocauste Montréal) is a museum located in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, that is dedicated to educating people of all ages and backgrounds about the Holocaust, while sensitizing the public to the universal perils of antisemitism, racism, hate and indifference. Through the museum, its commemorative programs and educational initiatives, it aims to promote respect for diversity and the sanctity of human life. The Museum was founded in 1979 as the Montreal Holocaust Memorial Centre (French: Centre commémoratif de l’Holocauste à Montréal) and is Canada's first and only recognized Holocaust museum.

Congregation Dorshei Emet (Hebrew: בית הכנסת דרשי אמת or "Seekers of Truth Synagogue") is a Reconstructionist synagogue in Hampstead, Quebec. It was founded in 1960 by Lavy Becker, who served as volunteer rabbi. Ron Aigen was hired as the congregation's first paid rabbi in 1976. Rabbi Boris Dolin joined the shul in 2016. Dorshei Emet constructed its first synagogue building in 1967. The congregation soon outgrew this structure, and built a larger one on the same site in 2003. Dorshei Emet is the only Reconstructionist synagogue in Quebec, and the oldest in Canada.
