The Gibeau Orange Julep restaurant (also known colloquially as OJ or The Big Orange or The Julep) is a roadside attraction and fast food restaurant in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. The building is in the shape of an orange, three stories high, with a diameter of 12.3 metres (40 ft).

MindGeek (formerly Manwin) is a Luxembourg-based, privately held company with Canada as its center of operations that primarily focuses on pornography. It is owned by Feras Antoon, Bernd Bergmair (Bernard Bergemar), David Marmorstein, and — more recently — by Leonardo DaSilva and operates many popular streaming websites, as well as film production companies Digital Playground, Men.com, Reality Kings, Sean Cody, and WhyNotBi.com, among others. MindGeek is headquartered in Luxembourg, and maintains additional offices in Bucharest, Dublin, London, Los Angeles, and Montreal. A spokesperson for the company stated that they are "one of the top five bandwidth consumption companies in the world".MindGeek has been subject to a number of lawsuits and filed litigation against its competitors. They were sued in California for hosting non-consensual pornography produced by GirlsDoPorn, which coerced women into appearing in their videos under false pretenses. In January 2021, a class action lawsuit making similar claims was launched in Montreal for anyone who had pornography photos and videos, some of which may have been taken when they were underage, shared on MindGeek's sites without their consent, since 2007. The lawsuit stated that MindGeek knowingly did not "investigate or question its business partner regarding the mounting evidence of sex trafficking". In February 2021, a U.S.-based civil class action lawsuit was launched against MindGeek on behalf of child sex trafficking victims whose child sexual abuse material was uploaded to Pornhub. Many journalistic outlets accuse the company of having a monopoly over the online pornography industry, with 3 out of the 10 most popular online pornography sites owned by MindGeek.In June 2022, the company confirmed the resignation of its CEO, Feras Antoon, and its COO, co-founder David Tassillo.

The Baron de Hirsch Cemetery, also known as the Baron de Hirsch Affiliated Cemeteries, Baron de Hirsch United Cemeteries and Baron de Hirsch Memorial Park, is a Jewish cemetery located on the north side of De la Savane Street, between Mountain Sights Avenue and Kindersley Avenue in the Côte-des-Neiges neighborhood of Montreal, Quebec, Canada. Since its establishment in 1892, an estimated 55,000 people have been interred in these grounds.

The Blue Bonnets Raceway (later named Hippodrome de Montréal) was a horse racing track and casino in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. It closed on October 13, 2009, after 137 years of operation. Demolition of the site began in mid-2018, after sitting abandoned and derelict for nearly a decade.

Congregation Dorshei Emet (Hebrew: בית הכנסת דרשי אמת or "Seekers of Truth Synagogue") is a Reconstructionist synagogue in Hampstead, Quebec. It was founded in 1960 by Lavy Becker, who served as volunteer rabbi. Ron Aigen was hired as the congregation's first paid rabbi in 1976. Rabbi Boris Dolin joined the shul in 2016. Dorshei Emet constructed its first synagogue building in 1967. The congregation soon outgrew this structure, and built a larger one on the same site in 2003. Dorshei Emet is the only Reconstructionist synagogue in Quebec, and the oldest in Canada.

It is operated by the Société de transport de Montréal (STM) and serves the Orange Line. It is located in the Côte-des-Neiges area on the border of the town of Mount Royal.It opened on January 9, 1984.

Plamondon station is a Montreal Metro station in the borough of Côte-des-Neiges–Notre-Dame-de-Grâce in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. It is operated by the Société de transport de Montréal (STM) and serves the Orange Line. It is located in the Snowdon neighbourhood of Côte-des-Neiges–Notre-Dame-de-Grâce. It opened on June 29, 1982 and replaced Côte-Sainte-Catherine station as the Orange Line's western terminus until the extension to Du Collège station was completed in 1984.

Northmount High School is a defunct English-language secondary school which was operated by the Protestant School Board of Greater Montreal in the Côte-des-Neiges area of Montreal, Quebec, Canada. It opened in 1957. It was later known as Shadd Academy. In its early years the school was predominantly Jewish, and later predominantly Caribbean.

Royalmount is a mixed-use district under construction located in the city of Mount Royal, Quebec Canada on the island of Montreal. It will include residential buildings, offices, shops and attractions. Announced in 2015 by the real estate developer Carbonleo, the project is built on a former industrial site of 2.5 million square feet at the junction of the Decarie and Metropolitan Highways. The expected cost is $1.7 billion for the first phase and $7 billion in total. Phase I of the project consists of retail stores and boutiques but no residential buildings and opened in September 2024. 6000 residential units are planned. Royalmount is served by the Montreal metro's De La Savane station (linked by a 200m footbridge over Decarie Highway) and by Société de transport de Montréal bus routes.

Adath Israel, officially the Adath Israel–Poale Zedek–Anshei Ozeroff Congregation (Hebrew: ק״ק עדת ישראל–פועלי צדק–אנשי אזשעראוו‬), is an Modern Orthodox synagogue located in Hampstead, Quebec, a suburb of Montreal. Until 1980 it was located in the city of Outremont (now a borough of Montreal).

Area code 514 was one of the original North American area codes assigned by AT&T in 1947. The original numbering plan area (NPA) was split twice: in 1957 to create area code 819 and in 1998 to create area code 450. In 2006, the entire remaining 514 area was assigned a second area code, 438, in an overlay plan that made ten-digit dialing mandatory in the Montreal area.
