The Église Sainte-Geneviève (Church of St. Genevieve) is a parish church located in the former village of Sainte-Geneviève, Québec (now part of Montreal) on the north-west shore of the Island of Montreal overlooking the Rivière des Prairies. Its affiliation is Roman Catholic and it is administered under the Diocese of Montreal by La Paroisse Sainte-Geneviève de Pierrefonds, founded by Antoine Faucon in 1741. Construction of the church, headed by Louis-Marie Lefèvre, was completed in 1844 and was designed by architect Thomas Baillargé.

L'Île-Bizard–Sainte-Geneviève (French pronunciation: [lil bizaʁ sɛ̃t ʒənvjɛv]) is a borough (arrondissement) of the city of Montreal.

L'Île-Bizard is a former municipality current borough located on Île Bizard, an island northwest of the Island of Montreal. It was originally incorporated as a municipality on 1 July 1855 as Paroisse de Saint-Raphael-de l'Ile-Bizard. On 1 January 2002, it was merged into the City of Montreal as part of the borough of L'Île-Bizard–Sainte-Geneviève. The island has a land area of 22.77 km² (8.79 sq mi). Its population was 14,647 at the 2011 census. Parc-Nature-du-Bois-de-l'île-Bizard is located in the centre of the island.It is the childhood home of NHL hockey player Vincent Lecavalier, who attended John Rennie High School, a school well known for its athletics program. The Parti Québécois leader Pauline Marois had a $8M main residence in the area. She is currently building another home on the island.

Cégep Gérald-Godin is a French-language public college located in Sainte-Geneviève, Montreal, Quebec, Canada. It is the first and only French-language public college on the West Island of Montreal. It is located on Gouin Boulevard overlooking the Rivière des Prairies. Its building, designed in 1932 by Lucien Parent, was formerly a novitiate of the Congregation of Holy Cross.It is named after poet and separatist politician Gérald Godin.

Kirkland is an on-island suburb on the Island of Montreal in southwestern Quebec, Canada. It is named after Charles-Aimé Kirkland, a Quebec provincial politician. It was incorporated as a town in 1961. Kirkland is primarily a residential community, with a commercial core, and an industrial park straddling the Trans-Canada Highway (Autoroute 40). In 1997, that portion of the Autoroute 40 was renamed to Félix-Leclerc Highway. The city is composed of mainly single-family residences, with some multi-unit facilities (apartments, town houses, and condos) available.

Île Bizard is an island near the Island of Montreal in the Hochelaga Archipelago region. It is one of the three populated islands within the city of Montreal, along with the Island of Montreal and Nuns' Island (Île des Soeurs). The island is served by buses 207 and 407.

Jacques Bizard Bridge is a bridge that crosses the Rivière des Prairies and connects L'Île Bizard to Montreal Island. Except for a cable ferry that connects Île Bizard with Laval-sur-le-Lac, it is the only access to Île Bizard, which had a population of 13,861 at the 2001 census. It carries three lanes of Jacques Bizard Boulevard, including one reversible lane. As of 2008, it is being widened to accommodate a bicycle path. The ferry, which crosses the north branch of the Rivière des Prairies, operates only seasonally between April and November. The bridge was named after Jacques Bizard, who was seigneur of Île Bonaventure, which was later renamed after him as well. The current span was built in 1966 and replaced an old bridge that was built in 1893.

Sainte-Geneviève was a municipality located on the Island of Montreal in southwestern Quebec, Canada. It is now part of the Borough of L'Île-Bizard–Sainte-Geneviève in the City of Montreal, created on January 1, 2002. The municipality, a small village populated by traditional Quebec-style dwellings and colonial mansions, is located on the north-west shore of the Island of Montreal along Gouin Boulevard, overlooking the Rivière des Prairies and across from Île Bizard located to the north. It is surrounded by the former municipality of Pierrefonds to the west, south and east. The Cégep Gérald-Godin and the Église Sainte-Geneviève, built in 1844 and designed by renowned Quebec architect Thomas Baillargé, are located here.

Pierrefonds Boulevard is an east-west boulevard in the northwest of the Island of Montreal, or the northern part of West Island. It runs mostly through the borough of Pierrefonds-Roxboro.

The 2024 Presidents Cup was the 15th edition of the Presidents Cup golf competition, held September 26 to 29 at Royal Montreal Golf Club in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. Royal Montreal previously hosted in 2007 Team USA won the cup for their tenth consecutive victory in the series.

The 2007 Presidents Cup was held in 2007 between September 27 and 30. It was played at the Royal Montreal Golf Club in Île Bizard, Quebec, Canada. The United States team won the competition by a margin of 191⁄2–141⁄2.

The Royal Montreal Golf Club (French: Le Club de Golf Royal Montréal) is the oldest golf club in North America, and the oldest in continuous existence. In 2023, it will be celebrating 150 years. It was founded in Montreal by eight men in 1873. Permission was granted by Queen Victoria to use the prefix "Royal" in 1884.
