Radlická (Czech pronunciation: [ˈradlɪtskaː]) is a Prague Metro station on Line B. It was opened on 26 October 1988 as part of the line extension from Smíchovské nádraží to Nové Butovice.

Košíře is a district of Prague, part of the municipal area Prague 5. It is situated in the valley of the Motol brook between the districts Smíchov and Motol. Košíře became a town in 1896 and was joined onto Prague in 1921.

The Smíchov – Hostivice railway line or Prague Semmering is a railway line in the Czech Republic. The line was built in 1868–1872 by the Buštěhrad Railway company (Czech: Buštěhradská dráha, German: Buschtiehrader Eisenbahn) as part of its connection between Prague and Chomutov. The line was opened for cargo transport on 3 July 1872. It was used to transport coal and wood to Prague. Transport of passengers followed on 16 September 1872. Today, it is part of line 122 from Praha hlavní nádraží to Rudná, though only in operation between Prague and Hostivice, as line S65 of the integrated Esko Prague system. On the 9 km (5.6 mi) long section between Praha-Smíchov and Prague-Jinonice the line climbs an elevation difference of 90 metres (300 ft). There are two large viaducts, 20 metres (66 ft) and 22 metres (72 ft) high.

Jinonice (Czech pronunciation: [ˈjɪnoɲɪtsɛ]) is a Prague Metro station on Line B. It was opened on 26 October 1988 as part of the line extension from Smíchovské nádraží to Nové Butovice. General reconstruction took place in 2017. The station used to be named Švermova, after the journalist and resistance fighter Jan Šverma.

Smíchov City (2020–2032) is a construction project in Prague, Czech Republic. It is planned on the site of one of the largest brownfields in Prague – the former freight railway station in Smíchov, which is almost 20 hectares in area. This entire new neighborhood, in preparation for the past 15 years, will be the largest single project in the history of the Czech Republic and will become a symbol of the transformation of Prague in the 21st century. The project's investor is the Sekyra Group. Construction began on September 30, 2020.

St. Gabriel's Abbey or Monastery (Czech: Klášter svatého Gabriela) is a former Benedictine nunnery of the Beuron Congregation in Smíchov, Prague, Czech Republic. It was built in the years 1888–1891, in the distinctive Beuronese style, by the congregation's architects Hildebrand de Hemptinne and Ghislain de Béthune. Initially a priory, it was raised to the status of an abbey in 1893. The nuns were forced to move to Austria in 1919.From then until 2019 the building belonged to the state and was used by state postal organizations, including the postal museum. Since 2019 it has been privately owned by a property development company.The church now known as the Church of the Annunciation, popularly called St. Gabriel's, was formerly the conventual church. Since 22 December 1964, both the monastery and the church have been registered as cultural monuments.The community of nuns dispossessed in 1919 moved to Schloss Bertholdstein in Pertlstein in Styria, Austria, until in 2007 they left the Beuronese Congregation to join the Federation of the Sisters of Saint Lioba, and, as St. Gabriel's Priory once again, moved to Sankt Johann bei Herberstein in Feistritztal.

The Smíchov Synagogue is the only functionalist synagogue in Prague; it was reconstructed to this style in 1931. After the World War II, the building was used for secular purposes because the Smíchov Jewish community ceased to exist in the Shoah. In the present, the building is used for an archive of the Jewish Museum in Prague.

MeetFactory is a non-profit organization and contemporary art centre in Prague, Czech Republic. It has four departments (music, theatre, gallery, and artists-in-residence) and the rest of the program is focused on interdisciplinary and educational projects relating to contemporary art.

Nový Smíchov is a shopping mall located west of the centre of Prague in the Czech Republic. It opened in 2001. The mall has a retail area of 60,000 square metres (650,000 sq ft). It is one of the biggest shopping centres in the Czech Republic.
