Studio X (formerly known as Bad Animals Studio and Kaye-Smith Studios) is a music and media recording studio on 4th Avenue in downtown Seattle, Washington, United States. Originally part of the Kaye-Smith Enterprises media conglomerate founded by Lester Smith and actor Danny Kaye, the studio was used to record commercials and musicians. The studio was re-launched as Steve Lawson Productions by Steve and Debbie Lawson in 1979. The sisters Ann and Nancy Wilson of the band Heart owned the studio from 1991 until 1997, and named it Bad Animals after their 1987 album of the same name. Artists such as Heart, Alice in Chains, Pearl Jam, Soundgarden, Nirvana, Queensrÿche, Mad Season, Foo Fighters, Audioslave, Aerosmith, The Beach Boys, Jerry Cantrell, Eddie Vedder, Duff McKagan, Johnny Cash, B.B. King, Radiohead, R.E.M., Deftones, Soulfly, Steve Vai, and Neil Young have recorded at the studio.

The Red Popsicle (also known as Giant Red Twin Popsicle or simply Popsicle) is a 2011 sculpture by Catherine Mayer, installed in Seattle's Belltown neighborhood, in the U.S. state of Washington.

The Fourth and Blanchard Building, also known as the Sedgwick James Building or the Darth Vader building, is a skyscraper located in the Belltown neighborhood just north of downtown Seattle. The high-rise style construction rises to 105 meters (344 feet) and has 25 floors above the ground. Chester L. Lindsey Architects, notable as the architects of the Columbia Center, designed the building. The building holds commercial office space. It is located in the Denny Regrade, on the site of what was once the highest point of Denny Hill, and is about one hundred feet taller than the peak of the former hill.The building was completed in 1979 and is clad in reflective glass. Its design is reminiscent of Houston's Pennzoil Place.

Bell Street Park is a 1.33-acre (0.54 ha) park, created in 2014 in Seattle, Washington's Belltown neighborhood. Situated in a neighborhood described as a former "hot-spot for low-level crime, drug-dealing and civil disorder", and intended in part to reduce crime rates on the street, the property was transferred from the city's transportation department to Parks and Recreation, and it was redeveloped as a woonerf or mixed-use pedestrian/vehicular traffic area without curbs.As a woonerf, the park is described as a "grand experiment" in Seattle, and nearly unique in Washington State. It won a design award from the Seattle Design Commission in 2014.

Belltown is the most densely populated neighborhood in Seattle, Washington, United States, located on the city's downtown waterfront on land that was artificially flattened as part of a regrading project. Formerly a low-rent, semi-industrial arts district, in recent decades it has transformed into a neighborhood of trendy restaurants, boutiques, nightclubs, and residential towers as well as warehouses and art galleries. The area is named after William Nathaniel Bell, on whose land claim the neighborhood was built. In 2007, CNNMoney named Belltown the best place to retire in the Seattle metro area, calling it "a walkable neighborhood with everything you need."Belltown is home to Antioch University, Argosy University, City University of Seattle, and the Seattle School of Theology & Psychology. It lies directly west of the Denny Triangle neighborhood, where online retailer Amazon's three office towers house its downtown headquarters, and where the Cornish College of the Arts is located.

Arrivé ( ah-ree-VAY) is a 440-foot (130 m), 41-story skyscraper in the Belltown neighborhood of Seattle, Washington. The $190 million project, originally named Potala Tower after the Potala Palace in Tibet, was designed by Weber Thompson and consists of 342 apartments and a 142-room hotel. It was financed partially by Chinese nationals through the EB-5 visa program and began construction in April 2015. Construction was put on hold in August 2015, when the assets of project developer Lobsang Dargey were frozen by a court order after a civil fraud suit by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). The SEC alleges that Dargey diverted funds from the project for his own personal uses, including the purchase of his Bellevue home and gambling. The project was then transferred to a court-appointed receiver and later stripped of its EB-5 eligibility. In May 2016, the presiding judge approved a plan by two firms to buy out Dargey's share of the project and restart construction, pending approval from EB-5 investors; in October, the two companies signed an agreement to restart construction and re-brand the project. The tower was completed and opened in February 2019.

The Crocodile (formerly The Crocodile Cafe, and sometimes called The Croc) is a music club at 2505 1st Avenue at Wall Street in the Belltown neighborhood of Seattle, Washington, United States. Opened by Stephanie Dorgan as the "Crocodile Cafe" on April 30, 1991, it quickly became a fixture of the city's music scene. The Crocodile Cafe closed in December 2007, before being reopened as The Crocodile on March 19, 2009. Since then, the club has been owned by Alice in Chains' drummer Sean Kinney, manager Susan Silver, Portugal. The Man guitarist Eric Howk, Peggy Curtis, and Capitol Hill Block Party co-founder Marcus Charles. The Crocodile relocated to a bigger building at 2505 1st Avenue, four blocks away from its original location (2200 2nd Avenue). In 2013, Rolling Stone ranked The Crocodile as the seventh best club in the U.S., and The Guardian included the club in its list of the top 10 live music venues in Seattle. Artists such as Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Alice in Chains, Soundgarden, Mad Season, R.E.M., Ann Wilson, Mudhoney, Cheap Trick, Yoko Ono, Social Distortion, Green Day, The Strokes, Beastie Boys, Alice Merton, Billie Eilish and Tom Morello have performed at the club.

The Institute for Health Metrics and Evaluation (IHME) is a research institute working in the area of global health statistics and impact evaluation at the University of Washington in Seattle. The Institute is headed by Christopher J.L. Murray, a physician and health economist, and professor at the University of Washington Department of Global Health, which is part of the School of Medicine. IHME conducts research and trains scientists, policymakers, and the public in health metrics concepts, methods, and tools. Its mission includes judging the effectiveness and efficacy of health initiatives and national health systems. IHME also trains students at the post-baccalaureate and post-graduate levels. In 2020, IHME published its model projecting deaths from the COVID-19 pandemic in the US, and informed guidelines developed by the Trump administration.

Tula's Restaurant and Jazz Club operated in Seattle's Belltown neighborhood for more than twenty years.

The Seattle Cinerama Theatre is a landmark movie theater in Seattle, Washington, United States. Located in the city's Belltown neighborhood, it is one of only three movie theaters in the world still capable of showing three-panel Cinerama films.

The McLeod Residence was an art cooperative and gallery based in the Belltown area of Seattle, Washington. It closed in October 2008.It was opened in December 2006 by Lele McLeod (born Leanne Ng) and Buster Butterfield McLeod (born Erik Benson of Seattle's Robot Co-op & 43 Things) as a blended gathering place for members interested in art, technology, and networking. Both cofounders legally changed their names as part of the launch. The McLeod Residence occupied the second floor of a two-story mixed-use building in Belltown. The space was used for a six-room sale gallery, a bar open for members-only events, and a social club. Memberships cost $75 per year or $300 lifetime, or were granted in exchange for other mutually-agreed arrangements.The gallery emphasized socialization and technology in unconventional ways. A touch-screen photo booth took visitors' pictures and immediately uploaded them to Flickr. Two "mirrors" by The Barbarian Group hung in the bathrooms, constantly taking photos and presenting them as photomosaics of previous photos.Due to difficulties in complying with local fire codes, the McLeod Residence's owners announced that they would close their current gallery effective October 31, 2008. The owners said they would seek a new location. As of September 2010, the McLeod Residence has not been reopened in a new location. A cocktail bar and gallery, The Upstairs, opened in the south half of the residence in December 2011.

The Modern (formerly Third and Lenora) is a mixed-use high-rise building in the Belltown neighborhood of Seattle, Washington, United States. The 38-story tower, developed by Martin Selig, includes offices, retail, and 222 residential units. Construction began in September 2017 and was completed in 2020. It was originally leased to The We Company for use by their WeWork co-working and WeLive co-living ventures until the company ran into financial issues and the lease was terminated after the building was topped out.
