Al Qusais (Arabic: اﻟﻘﺼﻴﺺ‎) is a rapid transit station on the Green Line of the Dubai Metro in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, serving the Al Qusais and Al Twar areas in Deira.The station opened as part of the Green Line on 9 September 2011. It is close to the Al Salam Community School (ASCS) and the Al Qusais Police Station. The station is also close to a number of bus routes.

Dubai Airport Free Zone (commonly known as DAFZA, Arabic: المنطقة الحرة بمطار دبي) is an elevated rapid-transit metro station on the Green Line of the Dubai Metro in Dubai, UAE.The station opened as part of the Green Line on 9 September 2011. Like most Dubai Metro stations, DAFZA lies above ground level. It is located on Al Nahda Street between Al Qusais and Al Twar. It is approximately 1/2 mile from the entrance of the eponymous Dubai Airport Free Zone (DAFZA). The station is also close to a number of bus routes. The station is close to Terminal 2 of Dubai International Airport.

Al Qusais or Al Gusais (Arabic: اﻟﻘﺼﻴﺺ) is a large community in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE). It is located in the Deira area of east Dubai. Al Qusais borders the localities of Hor Al Anz and Al Twar and is further subdivided into residential (Al Qusais) and industrial (Al Qusais Industrial Area) localities.

The district of Al Nahda itself is around 3/4 mile away. The station opened as part of the Green Line on 9 September 2011. It is close to the Adab Iranian Private School, Al Kuwait Intermediate Girls School, the Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure, The Westminster School, and the Al Bustan Centre. The station is also close to a number of bus routes.

Its original site was established in 1985 as a nursery, located in the historic communities of Dubai, in Al Rigga, to Al Muteena and later Hor Al Anz, from which the school opened in 1988. Al Nahda (Arabic: النهدة) is a locality in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE). Located in eastern Dubai in Deira, Al Nahda forms part of Dubai's eastern border with the emirate of Sharjah. Portions of Al Nahda that flow north into the emirate of Sharjah fall within that emirate's jurisdiction. Al Nahda, literally meaning The Awakening, is bordered to the south and east by Al Qusais, and to the west by Al Mamzar. It is bounded to the north by route E 11 (Al Ittihad Road) and to the south by a local road (204 Road). Al Nahda comprises two subcommunities — Al Nahda 1 and Al Nahda 2. Like Muhaisnah, the community was originally carved out of the industrial areas of Al Qusais, but it has undergone extensive and mostly residential development in recent years. Landmarks include Dubai Women's College, Al Nahda Pond Park, Al Diyafah High School, Expo Centre Sharjah, Sahara Centre (the largest Mall in the Emirates of Sharjah), the Khalid Lake, Al Majas Island, and the Mamzar Beach Park.

Al Twar (Arabic: الطوار) is a locality in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE). Located in eastern Dubai in Deira, Al Twar borders Dubai International Airport to the south, Al Qusais to the north, Hor Al Anz to the west and Muhaisnah to the east. It is bounded to the north and south by routes D 93 (Al Nahda Road) and D 91 (Abu Hail Road) respectively. Al Twar contains three sub-communities: Al Twar 1 Al Twar 2 Al Twar 3Al Twar is considered an expensive residential area in Dubai and home to many well known Dubai businessmen. It is predominantly a residential community. Landmarks in Al Twar include Al Wafa Hypermarket and Dubai Police headquarters as well as a state of the art indoor sports facility where residents of the area partake in sporting tournaments in Football, Table Tennis, Badminton and even Soap Football. Captain Majid is a common idol amongst the youth in the area. Al Twar also has parks such as the Al Twar Park.

Stadium (Arabic: الاستاد) is a rapid transit station on the Green Line of the Dubai Metro in the Deira area of Dubai, UAE.The station opened as part of the Green Line on 9 September 2011. It is close to the Rashid Stadium (hence the name), Al Mulla Plaza, Amity School, and Dubai Municipality Quarters. The station is also close to a number of bus routes.

Adventureland is an indoor family entertainment center in the Sahara Centre shopping mall in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates. The center has an area of 70,000 square feet (6,500 m2), making it the largest family entertainment center in the Middle East.

Rashid Stadium (Arabic: استاد راشد) is a multi-purpose stadium in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. It is currently used mostly for football and rugby matches. The stadium holds 12,000 people. It was built in 1948. The stadium hosted several matches of the 2003 FIFA World Youth Championship, 2013 FIFA U-17 World Cup, and 2019 AFC Asian Cup.

Emirates Flight 521 was a scheduled international passenger flight from Thiruvananthapuram, India, to Dubai, United Arab Emirates, operated by Emirates using a Boeing 777-300. On 3 August 2016, the aircraft carrying 282 passengers and 18 crew crashed while landing at Dubai International Airport.All 300 people on board survived the accident; 32 were injured, four were seriously injured. An airport firefighter died during the rescue operation, and another seven firefighters were injured. The accident is the only hull loss of an Emirates aircraft.
