Rashid Stadium (Arabic: استاد راشد) is a multi-purpose stadium in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. It is currently used mostly for football and rugby matches. The stadium holds 12,000 people. It was built in 1948. The stadium hosted several matches of the 2003 FIFA World Youth Championship, 2013 FIFA U-17 World Cup, and 2019 AFC Asian Cup.

Captain Majid is a common idol amongst the youth in the area. Al Twar also has parks such as the Al Twar Park.

Al Qiyadah Arabic: القيادة is a rapid transit station on the Green Line of the Dubai Metro in Dubai, UAE.The station opened as part of the Green Line on 9 September 2011. It has a capacity to handle 11,000 passengers per hour in each direction. The station is located on Al Ittihad Road between the districts of Al Twar and Hor Al Anz.The station located on Al Ittihad Road and is close to the Al Mulla Plaza and Dubai Police General Headquarters.

Al Nahda (Arabic: النهدة) is a rapid transit station on the Green Line of the Dubai Metro in Dubai, UAE, serving the Al Qusais and Al Twar areas in Deira. The district of Al Nahda itself is around 3/4 mile away. The station opened as part of the Green Line on 9 September 2011. It is close to the Adab Iranian Private School, Al Kuwait Intermediate Girls School, the Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure, The Westminster School, and the Al Bustan Centre. The station is also close to a number of bus routes.

Al Qusais or Al Gusais (Arabic: اﻟﻘﺼﻴﺺ) is a large community in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE). It is located in the Deira area of east Dubai. It is close to the eponymous Abu Hail Center and the Pearl Wisdom School Dubai. The station is also close to a number of bus routes.

Dubai Airport Free Zone (commonly known as DAFZA, Arabic: المنطقة الحرة بمطار دبي) is an elevated rapid-transit metro station on the Green Line of the Dubai Metro in Dubai, UAE.The station opened as part of the Green Line on 9 September 2011. Like most Dubai Metro stations, DAFZA lies above ground level. It is located on Al Nahda Street between Al Qusais and Al Twar. It is approximately 1/2 mile from the entrance of the eponymous Dubai Airport Free Zone (DAFZA). The station is also close to a number of bus routes. The station is close to Terminal 2 of Dubai International Airport.

Abu Hail (Arabic: أبو هيل) is a neighbourhood in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE), located in Deira. The locality is largely residential and is bordered by the localities of Al Waheda on the east, Hor Al Anz in the south and Al Baraha on the west. The Abu Hail Shopping Centre and Dubai Labour Office are located in Abu Hail. Abu Hail has a Metro Station on the Green Line of the Dubai Metro in Dubai, UAE.

Maktoum bin Rashid Al Maktoum Stadium (Arabic: ملعب مكتوم بن راشد آل مكتوم) is a multi-use stadium in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. It was named after Sheikh Maktoum bin Rashid Al Maktoum. It is currently used mostly for football matches and serves as the home stadium of former home Al Shabab Al Arabi Club of the UAE Pro League, but after Al Shabab merged with Al Ahli and Dubai to form Shabab Al-Ahli Club, it became a secondary stadium to Shabab Al Ahli. The stadium holds 12,000 spectators.

Al Nahda (Arabic: النهدة) is a locality in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE). Located in eastern Dubai in Deira, Al Nahda forms part of Dubai's eastern border with the emirate of Sharjah. Portions of Al Nahda that flow north into the emirate of Sharjah fall within that emirate's jurisdiction. Al Nahda, literally meaning The Awakening, is bordered to the south and east by Al Qusais, and to the west by Al Mamzar. It is bounded to the north by route E 11 (Al Ittihad Road) and to the south by a local road (204 Road). Al Nahda comprises two subcommunities — Al Nahda 1 and Al Nahda 2. Like Muhaisnah, the community was originally carved out of the industrial areas of Al Qusais, but it has undergone extensive and mostly residential development in recent years. Landmarks include Dubai Women's College, Al Nahda Pond Park, Al Diyafah High School, Expo Centre Sharjah, Sahara Centre (the largest Mall in the Emirates of Sharjah), the Khalid Lake, Al Majas Island, and the Mamzar Beach Park.
