Camden Street Development Historic District

Lenox Street is a street-level bus station on the Washington Street branch of the MBTA Silver Line bus rapid transit service. It is located on Washington Street at Lenox Street in the Roxbury neighborhood of Boston, Massachusetts. The stop is served by the SL4 and SL5 Silver Line routes as well as several local MBTA bus routes. Like all Silver Line stops, Lenox Street is accessible. Silver Line service on Washington Street began on July 20, 2002, replacing the route 49 bus. Service levels doubled on October 13, 2009, with the introduction of the SL4 route.

Chester Square is a residential garden square located along Massachusetts Avenue in Boston, between Tremont Street and Shawmut Avenue. The name "Chester" is derived from the original name of the street, which was renamed Massachusetts Avenue on March 1, 1894. Chester Park is also located in the historic South End of Boston.

The Hotel Alexandra, historically the Walworth Building, is a High Victorian Gothic structure built in the 1870s with a sandstone facade at the corner of Washington Street and Massachusetts Avenue in the South End of Boston, Massachusetts. The structure is located within the South End Landmark District which was established in 1983.

Northampton station was an elevated rapid transit station located above Washington Street at Massachusetts Avenue in the South End neighborhood of Boston, Massachusetts. It served the Washington Street Elevated, part of the MBTA's Orange Line, from 1901 until 1987. Massachusetts Avenue station, a street-level bus station on the Washington Street branch of the MBTA Silver Line bus rapid transit service, opened on the site in 2002. It is served by the SL4 and SL5 Silver Line routes as well as several local MBTA bus routes. Like all Silver Line stops, Massachusetts Avenue is accessible.

The Ascension-Caproni Historic District encompasses a mixed collection of late 19th and early 20th century architecture along Washington, Newcomb, and Thorndike Streets in the Roxbury neighborhood of Boston, Massachusetts. Including religious, residential, commercial, and industrial buildings, it encapsulates the area's transition from industrial to residential uses between about 1850 and 1930. The district was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2019.

Worcester Square station is a street-level bus station on the Washington Street branch of the MBTA Silver Line bus rapid transit service. It is located on Washington Street at Worcester Square in the South End neighborhood of Boston, Massachusetts near the Boston Medical Center. The stop is served by the SL4 and SL5 Silver Line routes as well as several local MBTA bus routes. Like all Silver Line stops, Worcester Square is accessible. Silver Line service on Washington Street began on July 20, 2002, replacing the route 49 bus. Worcester Square, which had been a stop for route 49, was not initially served by the Silver Line; it became a Silver Line stop on November 30, 2002. Shelters were added later.: 2.5  Service levels doubled on October 15, 2009, with the introduction of the SL4 route.

Melnea Cass Boulevard station is a street-level bus station on the Washington Street branch of the MBTA Silver Line bus rapid transit service. It is located on Washington Street at Melnea Cass Boulevard in the Roxbury neighborhood of Boston, Massachusetts. The stop is served by the SL4 and SL5 Silver Line routes; a number of local MBTA bus routes stop nearby. Like all Silver Line stops, Melnea Cass Boulevard is accessible. Silver Line service on Washington Street began on July 20, 2002, replacing the route 49 bus. Service levels doubled on October 15, 2009, with the introduction of the SL4 route.Washington Street was a proposed stop on the Urban Ring – a circumferential bus rapid transit (BRT) line designed to connect the existing radial MBTA rail lines to reduce overcrowding in the downtown stations. Under draft plans released in 2008, buses would have run in dedicated lanes on Melnea Cass Boulevard, with platforms at Washington Street. A spur of the Urban Ring would have run on Washington Street to Dudley Square. The project was cancelled in 2010.

The Tremont Street Methodist Episcopal Church, located at 740 Tremont Street in Boston, Massachusetts, was built in 1862 from a design by architect Hammatt Billings. In the late 1960s it became the New Hope Baptist Church.

Darryl’s Corner Bar & Kitchen is a live entertainment venue and Soul food restaurant in the South End of Boston (some people consider the neighborhood to be Roxbury). Currently owned by Nia Grace, Boston (magazine) named it 2021 Best Southern and Soul Food. The original owner was Darryl Settles, who sold it to Grace in September 2018.They are known for their Jazz Brunch though they do have live entertainment other times.

The Frederick Douglass Square Historic District is a historic district roughly bounded by Hammond Street, Cabot Street, Windsor Street, and Westminster Street, in the Lower Roxbury area of Boston, Massachusetts. It covers a 5-acre (2.0 ha) that is a remarkably well-preserved and cohesive residential development created as the result of one of Boston's many land-reclamation projects in the 19th century. This area, originally salt marshes that flooded at high tide, was at first gradually filled in as the Boston Neck was widened with the construction of Tremont Street and railroad lines. The Tremont Improvement Company acquired a remnant portion of the salt marshes by the early 1860s, and built a series of single-family row houses on the land that resulted from filling it in. The district includes most of the residential properties on Warwick, Greenwich, and Sussex Streets, as well as clusters of properties on adjacent streets.The district was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1996 and is a pending Boston Landmark. The nearby intersection of Tremont and Hammond streets was dedicated as Frederick Douglass Square in 1917, giving the district its name.

Eliot Burying Ground (or ""Eustis Street Burying Ground" or "First Burying Ground in Roxbury") is a historic seventeenth-century graveyard at Eustis and Washington Streets in the Roxbury neighborhood of Boston, Massachusetts. It occupies a roughly triangular lot of 0.8 acres (0.32 ha). Founded in 1630, the cemetery is the oldest in Roxbury (which was annexed to Boston in 1868). It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1974. The graveyard is one of several historic properties within the Eustis Street Architectural Conservation District of the Boston Landmarks Commission. Many well-known historical figures of colonial Massachusetts are buried at Eliot Burying Ground, including John Eliot, and members of the Dudley family, including Governors Thomas and Joseph Dudley, and Chief Justice Paul Dudley.

The Berger Factory is a historic factory building at 37 Williams Street in Boston, Massachusetts. Built in 1902, it was home to one of the nation's first manufacturers of precision engineering and surveying instruments, and a surviving example of Roxbury's late 19th-century industrial development. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1980, and now houses residences.
