Street of the Prophets (Hebrew: רחוב הנביאים, Rehov HaNevi'im) is an east–west axis road in Jerusalem beginning outside Damascus Gate and ending at Davidka Square. Located to the north of Jaffa Road, it bisects the neighborhood of Musrara. During its heyday in the late 19th century and early 20th century, Street of the Prophets was a favorite address for hospitals, churches, monasteries, hospices, government offices, foreign consulates, and wealthy Christian, Jewish and Muslim residents. Today the street still boasts the same heterogeneous mix of residents and workers, as well as schools, hospitals, churches and government offices. The elegant 19th-century architecture gives Street of the Prophets the appellation of "most beautiful street outside the Old City", while its historic buildings make it the most popular site for guided tours outside the Old City.

Batei Ungarin (Hebrew: בתי אונגרין, lit. Hungarian Houses) is a Haredi Jewish neighborhood in Jerusalem, north-east of the Old City of Jerusalem. It was built by Kolel Ungarin, a Hungarian Jewish charity supporting Jews living in the Land of Israel.

Museum of Underground Prisoners is a museum in Jerusalem, commemorating the activity of the Jewish underground—Haganah, Irgun and Lehi—during the period leading up the establishment of the State of Israel.

The Al-Moskobiya, Moscobiyeh, Muscovite or Moscovia Detention Centre is an Israeli detention and interrogation facility and prison more commonly known as The Russian Compound, located in West Jerusalem. The center is used to interrogate Palestinian detainees and prisoners from a variety of age groups, including children. The Palestinian NGO Addameer has alleged that harsh methods of torture are used there.

Musrara (Arabic: مصرارة, Hebrew: מוסררה, also known by its Hebrew name, Morasha, מורשה‎) is a neighborhood in Jerusalem. It is bordered by Meah Shearim and Beit Yisrael on the north, the Old City on the south, Bab a-Zahara to the east, and the Russian Compound and Kikar Safra to the west.

The Meah Shearim Yeshiva and Talmud Torah is a yeshiva in the Meah Shearim quarter of Jerusalem. It was established in 1885. The head of the yeshiva was Rabbi Yosef Gershon Horowitz, one of the leaders of the Mizrachi movement. During the British Mandate, the building served as the headquarters of Mizrahi in Jerusalem. The study hall on the second floor has a magnificent painted ceiling with depictions of Jewish holy places, the Jewish holidays, biblical animals and memorials for the deceased. The artist, Yitzhak Beck, carried out the work on special scaffoldings built for him. The paintings have begun to deteriorate with age and efforts are being made to preserve them.

The Mission of Saint Sergius or Guest House of Saint Sergius is a building built in Jerusalem in 1890 by the Imperial Orthodox Palestine Society, thanks to the grants of Grand Duke Sergei Alexandrovich. It is under the jurisdiction of the Russian Orthodox Ecclesiastical Mission in Jerusalem.

The Kidane Mehret Church (Ge'ez for "Covenant of Mercy") in Jerusalem, popularly known simply as the Ethiopian Church, is part of the Debre Genet (ደብረ ገነት) monastery, whose name means "Monastery of Paradise".The monastery and its church belong to the Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Church. It is one of two Ethiopian monasteries in Jerusalem, along with Deir Sultan, Debre Genet being located in West Jerusalem and Deir Sultan in the Old City.

Hadassah Academic College Jerusalem (HAC, formerly Hadassah College of Technology) is a publicly funded college in Jerusalem.

The Holy Trinity Cathedral (Russian: Свято-Троицкий собор, Hebrew: קתדרלת השילוש הקדוש) is a cathedral of the Russian Orthodox Church, located at the heart of the so-called Russian Compound in central Jerusalem. The cathedral was built in 1860–1872 by a Russian Orthodox Ecclesiastical Mission in Jerusalem, when the Holy City was part of the Ottoman Empire.

Mea Shearim (Hebrew: מאה שערים, lit., "hundred gates"; contextually, "a hundred fold") is one of the oldest Jewish neighborhoods in Jerusalem outside of the Old City. It is populated by Haredi Jews, and was built by members of the Old Yishuv.

The Russian Compound (Hebrew: מִגְרַשׁ הָרוּסִים, Migraš ha-Rusim, Arabic: المسكوبية, al-Muskubīya, Russian: Русское подворье в Иерусалиме) is one of the oldest districts in central Jerusalem, featuring a large Russian Orthodox church, the Russian-owned Sergei's Courtyard and the premises of the Russian Consulate General in Jerusalem, as well as the site of former pilgrim hostels, some of which are used as Israeli government buildings (such as the Moscovia Detention Centre), and one of which hosts the Museum of Underground Prisoners. The compound was built between 1860 and 1890, with the addition in 1903 of the Nikolai Pilgrims Hospice. It was one of the first structures to be built outside the Old City of Jerusalem.The Russian Compound covers 68 dunams (17 acres) between Jaffa Road, Shivtei Israel Street, and the Street of the Prophets. After 1890 it was closed by a gated wall, thus the name "compound", but it has long since been a freely accessible central-town district. In October 2008, the Israeli government agreed to transfer ownership of Sergei's Courtyard, one of the main buildings inside the complex, to the Russian government.
