Lake Tappan

The City Football Academy, New York, currently known as the Etihad City Football Academy for sponsorship reasons, is the training ground of professional football club New York City FC, located in Orangeburg on the outskirts of New York City. It is the third 'City Football Academy' to be built by City Football Group, the others being located in Manchester and Melbourne.

The Michael Salyer Stone House is located on Blue Hill Road (Rockland County Route 23) in Orangetown, New York, United States. It was built in the late 18th century. Unusually for Rockland County, its gambrel roof has clapboard siding in the upper gable apexes, a feature normally found farther north, in Colonial stone houses in Ulster County. It is possible that this may be due to Huguenot influence. In 2002, it and its well were listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Today it serves as a local historical museum.

Old Tappan ( tə-PAN) is a borough in Bergen County, New Jersey, United States. As of the 2010 United States Census, the borough's population was 5,750, reflecting an increase of 268 (+4.9%) from the 5,482 counted in the 2000 Census, which had in turn increased by 1,228 (+28.9%) from the 4,254 counted in the 1990 Census.Old Tappan was incorporated as a borough by an act of the New Jersey Legislature on October 18, 1894, from portions of Harrington Township, based on the results of a referendum held two days earlier. The borough was formed during the "Boroughitis" phenomenon then sweeping through Bergen County, in which 26 boroughs were formed in the county in 1894 alone. On April 23, 1896, additional territory was annexed from Harrington Township. The borough's name is derived from the Tappan tribe of Native Americans.

The Jacob P. Perry House is a historic home on Sickletown Road in Pearl River, New York, United States. It was constructed around the end of the 18th century, one of the last houses in Rockland County to have been built in the Dutch Colonial style more common before the Revolution. It is a stone structure with a detailed period interior. A later owner renovated it during the 1930s, and an addition was built onto it in the late 1970s. There are several other buildings and structures on the property, the remnant of a former farm. In 2003 the house and an adjacent well and wellhouse were listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

The Haring-DeWolf House is located in Old Tappan, Bergen County, New Jersey, United States. The house was added to the National Register of Historic Places on January 10, 1983.

Blue Hill Plaza, located in Pearl River, New York approximately 20 miles north of New York City, is an office complex consisting of a 21-story office tower and an eight-story office building on 90-acres of landscaped and wooded property.The two buildings comprise nearly 1.2 million square feet of leasable space, about 40 percent of the office space leasing market in Rockland County, with approximately 1,800 people employed by tenants ranging from smaller startups to large offices of well-known corporations such as Blue Hill Data Services, Verizon, Orange & Rockland Utilities, Active International, Fujitsu and Hunter Douglas.

The Nathan S. Kline Institute for Psychiatric Research (NKI) is a New York State-funded research Institute, located in Orangeburg, New York. NKI is dedicated to research designed to better understand the causes of mental illnesses, and to improving the lives of people with mental illness. The Institute is named after psychiatrist Nathan S. Kline, MD who died in 1982. NKI is a facility of the New York State Office of Mental Health that has earned a national and international reputation for its pioneering contributions in psychiatric research, especially in the areas of psychopharmacological treatments for schizophrenia and major mood disorders, and in the application of computer technology to mental health services. Since 1952, interdisciplinary teams of distinguished NKI scientists have applied their talents and expertise to study the etiology, treatment, prevention, and rehabilitation of severe and persistent mental illnesses. Located on the grounds of Rockland Psychiatric Center in Orangeburg, New York (20 miles north of New York City), NKI receives additional operating support from federal, municipal, and private sources through the Research Foundation for Mental Hygiene. NKI has a strong academic collaboration with the Department of Psychiatry of New York University. A broad range of studies are conducted at NKI, including basic, clinical, and services research, intended to improve care for people suffering from complex, psychobiologically based, severely disabling mental disorders. They focus primarily on patient-oriented research programs emphasizing the causes, diagnosis, treatment, prevention, and care of severe and long-term mental disorders; clinically relevant, basic research on physiological and biochemical aspects of mental disease; and research on the cost, quality, and effectiveness of services for patients in mental health programs certified, operated, and/or funded by New York State.

The Frederick Haring House is located in Old Tappan, Bergen County, New Jersey, United States. The house was added to the National Register of Historic Places on January 10, 1983.

The Rockland Psychiatric Center, originally Rockland State Hospital, in Orangeburg, New York is a psychiatric facility for adults operated by the New York State Office of Mental Health. It offers in-patient and transitional treatment for adults, as well as research facilities. There are 13 outpatient facilities and 11 residential programs in the four surrounding counties. The facility shares space with the co-located Nathan Kline Institute. The inpatient treatment center has 410 beds. The current hospital replaces an older hospital on the same 615-acre (249 ha) site.

Gerrit Haring House is a historic house at 224 Old Tappan Road in Old Tappan, Bergen County, New Jersey, United States. This mid-eighteenth-century house was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1983.

William Holdrum House is located in River Vale, Bergen County, New Jersey, United States. The house was built in 1763 by William Holdrum and was added to the National Register of Historic Places on January 10, 1983.

The Edward Salyer House is located on South Middletown Road in Pearl River, New York, United States. It is a wood frame house built in the 1760s. Originally it was the main house of a farm that covered much of that neighborhood. It is one of the rare remaining Dutch Colonial frame houses in the county, and possibly the oldest house in Pearl River. It retains much of its integrity, including original interior finishes and exterior hardware, despite renovations in the 19th and 20th centuries. In 1986 it and its well, also original to the property, were listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
