The Church of All Saints is a Church of England parish church in Winkleigh, Devon. The church is a Grade I listed building.

Winkleigh is a civil parish and small village in Devon, England. It is part of the local government area of Torridge District Council. The population of the parish at the 2011 census was 1,305, compared to 1,079 in 1901. The population of the electoral ward in 2011 was 2,068.

Broadwoodkelly is a village and civil parish in the West Devon district of Devon, England. According to the 2001 census it had a population of 218. The village is situated about 9 miles (14 km) north of Okehampton. Much of the church is 15th century, but it has two piscinae 700 years old, an ancient granite baptismal font, an elizabethan table, and a stained-glass window dated 1523.

Ashreigney is a village and civil parish in the Torridge district of Devon, England, about 15 miles (24 km) south of the town of Barnstaple. According to the 2001 census it had a population of 446, compared to 540 in 1901.The church is mostly fifteenth century and has a medieval font. The village was recorded in the Domesday Book.Within the parish is the small settlement of Riddlecombe, which was a medieval manor.

Stafford (anciently Stowford) is an historic manor in the parish of Dolton in Devon, England. The present manor house known as Stafford Barton is a grade II* listed building. A house of some form has existed on the manor probably since the Norman Conquest in the 11th century. Surviving walls can be dated to the 16th century. Many additions and renovations have taken place in the intervening years, and in the early 20th century Charles Luxmoore made many alterations and extensions and imported several major architectural features from ancient local mansions undergoing demolition so that "it has become somewhat difficult to discern its original form". In the nineteenth century the estate was very substantial, with 400 acres of associated farmland and a large staff, and by 1956, at the end of the Luxmoore tenure, it had grown to 1,460 acres with 7 farms, several cottages and smallholdings.

Honeychurch is a village and former civil parish now in the parish of Sampford Courtenay, in the West Devon district of the English county of Devon. It was originally an ancient parish in the Black Torrington hundred of northwest Devon. With about thirty inhabitants in 1066, the village is mentioned in the Domesday Book as "Honechercha". The description mentions five farms, which are still in operation in the 21st century. In 1870-72, John Marius Wilson's Imperial Gazetteer of England and Wales described Honeychurch in the following: "HONEY-CHURCH, a parish in Okehampton district, Devon; near the river Taw, 2 miles WNW of North Tawton r. station, and 5½ ESE of Hatherleigh. Posttown, North Tawton, North Devon. Acres, 607. Real property, £497. Pop., 44. Houses, 9. The property is subdivided; and the manor belongs to the Earl of Portsmouth. The living is a rectory in the diocese of Exeter. Value, £93. Patron, the Rev. Dr. Brailsford. The church is old, and has a tower." On 31 December 1894 the parish was abolished and merged with Sampford Courtenay. By 1894 there were only 8 houses. The parish had 66 inhabitants in 1801, 69 in 1848, 35 in 1891, and 44 in 1901.The 12th-century church, dedicated to Mary, is largely in its original state, save for the addition of the 15th-century three-bell tower and 16th-century portico in the south facade. The name of the village refers to the previous building on this site, "Huna's church", founded in the 10th century by the Saxon landowner Huna.

Monkokehampton is a village and civil parish in West Devon, England. The village lies on the River Okement, about 3 miles (4.8 km) east-north-east of Hatherleigh. The parish is bounded by Hatherleigh, Exbourne, Broadwoodkelly and Iddesleigh, and had a population of 139 at the 2011 Census.Alternative names for Monkokehampton are "Monk Okehampton", "Okehampton" and "Okehampton Monk".

Eaglescott Airfield (ICAO: EGHU) is located in Burrington, 6 nautical miles (11 km; 6.9 mi) east southeast of Great Torrington, in Devon, England. It is also the northern operating base of the Devon Air Ambulance. Eaglescott Aerodrome had a CAA Ordinary Licence (Number P742) that allowed flights for the public transport of passengers or for flying instruction as authorised by the licensee (Devon Airsports Limited). The aerodrome is not licensed for night use.

Burrington is a village and civil parish in North Devon in England. In 2001 the population was 538.The village has a church, a Methodist chapel, a pub and shop-cum-Post Office. Unusually for a Devon village it has excellent bus services between Barnstaple and Exeter. The church, Holy Trinity, is Grade I listed and the pub, the Barnstaple Inn, is Grade II listed. The pub is one of only two buildings within the village that are still thatched. The parish church of Holy Trinity dates from the 16th century, but it is of old foundation and its incumbents are recorded from 1277. It has a notable granite arcade, wagon roof with carved bosses, an early 16th-century rood screen and a Norman font. The tower is in the position of a north transept. The south door is original and has blank Perpendicular tracery; the communion rails are c. 1700. Northcote Manor, dating from at least the 1700s is located within the parish.The parish records include the baptisms of the three children of William and Ann Blackmore (of Town) during the 1820s. William is described as the schoolteacher. One of the vicars of Burrington was Samuel Davis, the second of whose wives was Jane Elizabeth Blackmore, half-sister of Richard Doddridge Blackmore, the author of Lorna Doone.

Exbourne is a village and civil parish in the English county of Devon. The Anglo-Saxon origin of the name is gæces burn - Cuckoo Stream. It occupies a hillside location between the River Okement and the Hole Brook, about 5 miles north of Okehampton in West Devon, and height above sea level ranges between 280 Ft. and 484 Ft. It lies in a primarily agricultural location and the local parish council represents both Exbourne and nearby Jacobstowe. The population of the ward which represents Exbourne and all surrounding villages was 1,695 at the 2011 census.The village contains a Conservation Area, in which the principle building is the Church of St.Mary with its embattled tower and some fabric dating from XIV c. The present Manor House was built ca. 1830, and the manorial court was formerly held at Court Barton. There is a Church of England Primary School which has three classes with about sixty children on roll.. Other public buildings include the Methodist Chapel and the Village Hall, which was formerly the Manor Hall. An early Bible Christian chapel and Sunday School still stand, converted for residential use. The public house is called the 'Red Lion' which has undergone extensive work.There is an eco-friendly underground community shop, cafe and post office (opened 2012), which has been funded through grants and local funding.A garage, filling station and car workshop (RB Tyres) lies at the crossroads with the A3072. At the boundary with Jacobstowe stands an ancient packhorse bridge over the Okement river.

Dolton is a small village and civil parish in the Torridge district of Devon, south-west England, surrounded, clockwise from the north, by Beaford, Ashreigney, Winkleigh, Dowland, Meeth, Huish and Merton. It has a population of around 900.Dolton appears in the Domesday Book of 1086 as Duueltone. The name may mean "farmstead in the open country frequented by doves" (Old English dūfe + feld + tūn). The Tarka Trail passes by Dolton. The parish church is dedicated to St Edmund. The historic stately home Stafford Barton is close by. Dolton is twinned with Amfreville in France, and Hillerse in Germany. Anthony Horneck FRS, the Protestant theologian, lived in Dolton between 1670 and 1671. Henry Bentinck, 11th Earl of Portland, lived at a house called Little Cudworthy and died there in 1997. Rolling Stones drummer Charlie Watts lived at Halsdon House near the village for some years until his death in 2021.

St James' Church, Iddesleigh, is a church in the small village of Iddesleigh, Devon, England. It dates back to the 13th century, although most of the structure dates from the 15th century, and there have been various changes since then.
