Hightown Barracks is a military installation in Wrexham, Wales.

Hightown Halt railway station was a station in Caia Park, Wrexham, Wales. The station was opened on 9 July 1923 and closed on 10 September 1962.

Eagles Meadow (Welsh: Dôl Yr Eryod) is a medium-sized shopping centre in Wrexham city centre. The area has had a variety of previous uses, from housing stables for local gentry to its later use as a car park hosting a market. The current shopping centre opened on Thursday 30 October 2008 at 10am. There is a webcam pointed at the Eagles Meadow bridge hosted by local hyperlocal site Wrexham.com.

The Nags Head (also spelled Nag's Head) is a historic pub on Mount Street in Wrexham city centre, North Wales. The current frontage dates to a 19th-century remodelling under the Soames family. The Grade II listed building was also home to a brewery, known as the Nag's Head Brewery, which started brewing by 1834. The brewery and pub were purchased by Soames Brewery in 1879, who later remodelled the building and expanded the brewery in the adjacent area, including a brick chimney built to the building's rear. It became part of Border Breweries in 1931, and was acquired by Marston's Brewery in 1984, with the brewery closing six months later, while the British pub remains open as of 2023.

The Elephant and Castle was a public house on Charles Street in Wrexham, Wales, known to have existed in 1788, and closed in 1999. The building has housed the Magic Dragon Brewery Tap since 2019. It was sometimes known as the Elephant Inn.

Charles Street (Welsh: Stryt Siarl) is a street in Wrexham city centre, North Wales. It contains multiple listed buildings. It was originally considered part of the High Street, but later became known as Beast Market Street due to its importance as a drovers' road towards Wrexham's Beast Market. Today, the street is known for its small independent businesses. The listed buildings on the street include the No. 20–23 terrace, and parts of the Wynnstay Arms Hotel and former Feathers Hotel. The street was also home to the Elephant and Castle pub, a historically notorious pub in Wrexham.

The Soames Brewery Chimney is a Grade II listed former brewery chimney in Wrexham city centre, North Wales. It later became known as the Border Breweries Chimney, when the Soames Brewery was merged into Border Breweries in 1932. The site, where the chimney now stands, was acquired by FW Soames & Co. Brewery in 1879, with the red brick chimney built in 1894. Ownership was transferred to Border Breweries in 1932, then Marston's Brewery purchased and closed the brewery in 1984. In the 1990s it was transferred to local MP John Marek to prevent its demolition, with Marek selling the chimney on eBay in 2011. The chimney is regarded as a local landmark.

The Wynnstay Arms is a hotel and pub in Wrexham city centre, Wales. It is located on Yorke Street and directly on the western end of Wrexham's High Street. The building is a Grade II listed building for its surviving Georgian red brick façade, while most of the building was demolished and rebuilt in the 1970s. The Football Association of Wales was formed at the hotel in 1876, and Prime Minister, David Lloyd George is said to have announced the end of World War I from the building's balcony in 1918.

The Feathers Hotel is a former pub and coaching inn in Wrexham city centre, North Wales. First known as The Plume of Feathers, the building was popular with drovers heading to Wrexham's Beast Market. The inn was remodelled in the mid-19th century to extend its frontage onto an adjacent property on Chester Street. It closed as a pub in 2001, and has since been converted into a grocery shop and apartments.

The Midland is a pub housed in a historic former bank building in Wrexham city centre, Wales. Located at the eastern end of Wrexham's High Street, it opened in 1912 as the Midland Bank, which purchased the original client The North and South Wales Bank a few years prior to construction. The building is a Grade II listed building. The building housed a Wetherspoons pub initially known as Lloyds, and later The North and South Wales Bank from 2001 to 2023. It re-opened as a pub in late 2023, as The Midland, recognising the building's original name and purpose.

St Giles' Parish Church (Welsh: Eglwys San Silyn) is the parish church of Wrexham, Wales. The church is recognised as one of the finest examples of ecclesiastical architecture in Wales and is a Grade I listed building, described by Sir Simon Jenkins as 'the glory of the Marches' and by W. D. Caröe as a “glorious masterpiece.”The iconic 16th-century tower rises to a height of 41 m (136 feet) and is a local landmark that can be seen for many miles around. It forms one of the 'Seven Wonders of Wales'. St Giles' occupies a site of continuous Christian worship for at least 800 years. The main body of the current church was built at the end of the 15th century and beginning of the 16th centuries. It is widely held to be among the greatest of the medieval buildings still standing in Wales.The church contains numerous works of note including decorative carvings and statuary dating from the 14th century, monuments by Roubiliac and Woolner, a stained-glass window attributed to Burne-Jones and one of the oldest brass eagle lecterns in Britain.The tomb of Elihu Yale, benefactor of Yale University in New Haven, Connecticut, is located in the churchyard. In recognition of this connection, 'Wrexham Tower' of Saybrook College in the university was modelled on the tower of St Giles'.

The Overton Arcade is a shopping arcade in Wrexham city centre, Wales. Built in 1868 and opening in 1869, the arcade connects Wrexham's High Street to Temple Row which passes along the churchyards of St Giles' Church. It is named after its proprietor William Overton and not the nearby village of Overton (also known as Overton-on-Dee).
