Sierra Vista Southeast, often referred to as Hereford or Nicksville, is a census-designated place (CDP) in Cochise County, Arizona, United States. The population was 14,797 at the 2010 census. It includes the neighborhoods Ramsey Canyon, and Sierra Vista Estates within its boundaries.

Hereford Arizona Observatory (HAO), IAU-code G95, is an astronomical observatory, owned and operated by amateur astronomer Bruce L. Gary. Observational studies of unusual starlight fluctuations in Tabby's Star (KIC 8462852) and WD 1145+017 are recent interests. HAO consists of two telescopes, in two separate observatory installations: HAO#1 (contains a Celestron CPC 1100, 11-inch Schmidt-Cassegrain telescope on an equatorial mount) and HAO#2 (contains an Astro-Tech Ritchey–Chrétien, 16-inch telescope on an equatorial mount).The observatory is located in Arizona about 130 km (80 mi) southeast of Tucson and about 11 km (7 mi) north of the Mexican border. Coordinates are at the following: North Latitude +31:27:08 and West Longitude 110:14:16, at an altitude of 1,423 m (4,670 ft).

Sierra Summit Academy was a charter school in Hereford, Arizona, near the larger town of Sierra Vista. The school opened in 2001 and closed in August 2011 due to losing its lease.

Nicksville is a populated place in Cochise County, Arizona, just north of the international border between the United States and Mexico. It has an estimated elevation of 4,816 feet (1,468 m) above sea level.

The Mall at Sierra Vista is an indoor shopping center in Sierra Vista, Arizona, United States owned and managed by Kohan Retail Investment Group. It was constructed during the late 1990s. Sierra Vista was one of the fastest-growing communities in Arizona and the major population center for southeastern Arizona. The developers had hoped to market to the growing community, which had no other malls. It was the first major mall to be built in southeastern Arizona, with of retail space.This regional mall serves a large portion of southeastern Arizona and northern parts of the Mexican state of Sonora. A recent survey indicated that as much as 30% of the mall's shoppers come from Sonora, traveling as far away as Nacozari and Cumpas, 120 miles (190 km) south of the border, just to shop there.In addition to shopping, the Mall at Sierra Vista hosts the annual Festival of Trees, the Festival of Giving, and an annual Car Show for the Boys and Girls Club. The Mall merits a mention in Ethel Jackson Price's 2003 book, Sierra Vista: a Young City with a Past.In 2015, Sears Holdings spun off 235 of its properties, including the Sears at The Mall as Sierra Vista, into Seritage Growth Properties. On October 15, 2018, it was announced that Sears would be closing as part of a plan to close 142 stores nationwide. In January 2019, Seritage listed the Sears property for sale due to limited redevelopment opportunities.In May 2019, the mall was listed for sale; For 2 years, no buyer has been found. Then in July 2021, Kohan Retail Investment Group purchased the mall alongside 6 other malls from Brookfield Asset Management.

Hereford Army Airfield is an abandoned military airfield located about 2 miles (1.7 nmi; 3.2 km) west-southwest of Hereford, Arizona, United States.

Kinjockity Ranch, also known as Lanteen Ranch, is a Pueblo Revival style residence in Cochise County, Arizona, originally built in 1939-1940 for Rufus Riddlesbarger, a wealthy Chicago businessman. It is a notable example of Pueblo Revival style, executed in adobe with richly detailed interiors and hand-made hardware. The house was designed by Edward C. Morgan, an architect from Phoenix who specialized in what he called "the Mexican style." The interiors were decorated and embellished by illustrator and sculptor Raymond Phillips Sanderson, who had collaborated with Morgan on previous commissions.

Murray Springs is located in southern Arizona near the San Pedro River and once served as a Clovis hunting camp approximately 11,000 years BP. The site is unique for the massive quantity of large megafauna processing and extensive tool making. Archaeologists identified five buried animal kills and processing locations and a Clovis camp location. The site is located in the San Pedro Riparian National Conservation Area, administered by the Bureau of Land Management.

The Sierra Vista Unified School District is the school district for Sierra Vista, Arizona. It operates Buena High School, Joyce Clark Middle School, and six elementary schools in its service area. The district serves high school aged dependent children on Fort Huachuca.

The College of Applied Science and Technology (also called AZCAST or CAST) is a remote campus of the University of Arizona, located in Sierra Vista. The campus offers master's degrees, bachelor's degrees, and certifications that are regionally relevant for both Southern Arizona and the United States Army Intelligence Center of Excellence (USAICoE) and the United States Army Enterprise Technology Command (NETCOM) at Fort Huachuca. The Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) has designated the University of Arizona's Intelligence program as an Intelligence Community - Center of Academic Excellence (IC-CAE).

Sierra Vista is a city in Cochise County, Arizona, United States. According to the 2020 Census, the population of the city is 45,308, and is the 27th most populous city in Arizona. The city is part of the Sierra Vista-Douglas Metropolitan Area, with a 2010 population of 131,346. Fort Huachuca, a U.S. Army post, has been incorporated and is located in the northwest part of the city. Sierra Vista is bordered by the cities of Huachuca City and Whetstone to the north and Sierra Vista Southeast to the South. Sierra Vista, Spanish for 'mountain view', is 75 miles (121 km) southeast of Tucson and serves as the main commercial, cultural, and recreational hub of Cochise County. Sierra Vista is located on the southwestern side of Cochise County and is 15 miles (24 km) southwest of Tombstone, 20 miles (32 km) northwest of Bisbee, and 15 miles (24 km) from the border of Mexico. The closest port of entry to Mexico is Naco in the Mexican state of Sonora which is 24 miles (39 km) from Sierra Vista to the southeast. Sierra Vista is home to University of Arizona, College of Applied Science and Technology, a Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) designated Intelligence Community - Center of Academic Excellence (IC-CAE) university, Cochise College, and Wick Communications, a media company operating 27 newspapers and 18 specialty publications in 11 states.

Buena High School is a high school in Sierra Vista, Arizona. It is the only high school in the Sierra Vista Unified School District. The current school building was built in the early 1990s to accommodate an ever-expanding student enrollment and opened in the spring of the 1991–92 school year. The school was built to handle an enrollment of up to 2,500 students; it was over-capacity from its opening and filled to capacity through the late 2000s. It serves high school-aged dependent children living on Fort Huachuca.
