University of West London

Ealing Art College (or Ealing Technical College & School of Art) was a further education institution on St Mary's Road, Ealing, London, England. The site today is the Ealing campus of University of West London.

Great Ealing School was situated on St Mary's Road, Ealing W5 London and was founded in 1698. In its heyday of the 19th century, it was as famous as Eton or Harrow, being considered "the best private school in England".

Drama Studio London (DSL) is a British drama school in London. It is accredited by the Federation of Drama Schools.The Drama Studio London was founded in 1966 by actor and director Peter Layton, focusses on developing individual talent nurtured around what makes each student unique rather than teaching conventional acting styles, such as method, classical acting or Meisner technique. Students can take a 1-year Diploma in Professional Acting, a 2-year MFA in Professional Acting with Independent Production or a three-year Bachelor of Arts (hons) in Professional Acting, in partnership with the University of West London. The MFA (Masters in Fine Art) in Professional Acting with Independent Production, is recognised in the United States as an essential Higher Education teaching qualification.

Ealing Studios is a television and film production company and facilities provider at Ealing Green in West London. Will Barker bought the White Lodge on Ealing Green in 1902 as a base for film making, and films have been made on the site ever since. It is the oldest continuously working studio facility for film production in the world, and the current stages were opened for the use of sound in 1931. It is best known for a series of classic films produced in the post-WWII years, including Kind Hearts and Coronets (1949), Passport to Pimlico (1949), The Lavender Hill Mob (1951), and The Ladykillers (1955). The BBC owned and filmed at the Studios for forty years from 1955 until 1995. Since 2000, Ealing Studios has resumed releasing films under its own name, including the revived St Trinian's franchise. In more recent times, films shot here include The Importance of Being Earnest (2002) and Shaun of the Dead (2004), as well as The Theory of Everything (2014), The Imitation Game (2014), Burnt (2015) and Devs (miniseries) (2020). Interior scenes of the British period drama television series Downton Abbey were shot in Stage 2 of the studios. The Met Film School London operates on the site.

Blast Radio (formerly known as Tube Radio) is the student radio station and Students' Union Club for University of West London. They broadcast online from studios based on campus. And on an RSL across the local area for four weeks in May. The station is a member of UK Student Radio Association.

London College of Music (LCM) is a music school in London, England. It is one of eight separate schools that make up the University of West London in the greater London Area. LCM was founded in 1887 and existed as an independent music conservatoire based at Great Marlborough Street in central London until 1991. The college then moved to Ealing and became part of the Polytechnic of West London (which became Thames Valley University and was renamed the University of West London in 2011).

Pitzhanger Manor is an English country house famous as the home of neoclassical architect, Sir John Soane. Built between 1800 and 1804 in Walpole Park Ealing, then to the west of London), the Regency Manor is a rare and spectacular example of a building designed, built and lived in by Sir John Soane himself. Soane intended it as a domestic space to entertain guests in, as well as a family home for a dynasty of architects, starting with his sons. Pitzhanger Manor and Gallery was established as a heritage attraction in 1987, later showing contemporary art exhibitions from 1996. In 2015, the Pitzhanger closed for a major conservation project to restore the Grade I listed building to Soane’s original designs, and upgrade the contemporary Gallery. The three-year project was led by Ealing Council, in collaboration with Pitzhanger Manor & Gallery Trust and with the aid of the National Lottery Heritage Fund. On 16 March 2019 Pitzhanger Manor & Gallery re-opened, revealing Soane’s original design for the first time in over 175 years.

Ealing Grove was a mansion and estate in Ealing, Middlesex, west London, England. It was adjacent to the Ealing House estate, but distinct from it, and stood amongst trees.The house was converted into an Italianate villa by the younger Joseph Gulston in the 1770s. It was demolished circa 1850.

The Ealing Broadway Centre, currently branded as simply Ealing Broadway, is a shopping centre in Ealing, west London. Located on The Broadway close by Ealing Broadway station, the centre consists of 85 units both indoor and a courtyard part outdoor. It was opened on 7 March 1985 by HM the Queen and the complex includes the town square and the Ealing Central Library.

South Ealing tube station is a London Underground station in the London Borough of Ealing. The station is on the Heathrow Airport branch of the Piccadilly line, between Acton Town and Northfields stations. It is located on South Ealing Road and is in Travelcard Zone 3.

Ealing Independent College is an independent college in West London, located in the borough of Ealing in London.

Ealing was a local government district from 1863 to 1965 around the town of Ealing which formed part of the built up area of London until 1965, where it became part of Greater London.
