Ealing Grove

The Ealing Broadway Centre, currently branded as simply Ealing Broadway, is a shopping centre in Ealing, west London. Located on The Broadway close by Ealing Broadway station, the centre consists of 85 units both indoor and a courtyard part outdoor. It was opened on 7 March 1985 by HM the Queen and the complex includes the town square and the Ealing Central Library.

It is accredited by the Federation of Drama Schools.The Drama Studio London was founded in 1966 by actor and director Peter Layton, focusses on developing individual talent nurtured around what makes each student unique rather than teaching conventional acting styles, such as method, classical acting or Meisner technique. Students can take a 1-year Diploma in Professional Acting, a 2-year MFA in Professional Acting with Independent Production or a three-year Bachelor of Arts (hons) in Professional Acting, in partnership with the University of West London. The MFA (Masters in Fine Art) in Professional Acting with Independent Production, is recognised in the United States as an essential Higher Education teaching qualification.

Ealing Broadway is a major single-level interchange station in Ealing in London, England. It is in the London Borough of Ealing, West London, and is served by the London Underground and also National Rail on the Great Western Main Line. On the Underground, it is one of three western termini of the District line, the next station being Ealing Common, and it is also one of two western termini of the Central line, the next station being West Acton. On the National Rail network, it is a through-station on the Great Western Main Line, 5 miles 56 chains (9.2 km) down the line from London Paddington, between Acton Main Line and West Ealing. The station is managed by TfL Rail and is served by Great Western Railway and TfL Rail services. As of 2020, the station is being upgraded and expanded as part of the Crossrail project, with a rebuilt ticket hall and the provision of step free access.

London College of Music (LCM) is a music school in London, England. It is one of eight separate schools that make up the University of West London in the greater London Area. LCM was founded in 1887 and existed as an independent music conservatoire based at Great Marlborough Street in central London until 1991. The college then moved to Ealing and became part of the Polytechnic of West London (which became Thames Valley University and was renamed the University of West London in 2011).

Pitzhanger Manor is an English country house famous as the home of neoclassical architect, Sir John Soane. Built between 1800 and 1804 in Walpole Park Ealing, then to the west of London), the Regency Manor is a rare and spectacular example of a building designed, built and lived in by Sir John Soane himself. Soane intended it as a domestic space to entertain guests in, as well as a family home for a dynasty of architects, starting with his sons. Pitzhanger Manor and Gallery was established as a heritage attraction in 1987, later showing contemporary art exhibitions from 1996. In 2015, the Pitzhanger closed for a major conservation project to restore the Grade I listed building to Soane’s original designs, and upgrade the contemporary Gallery. The three-year project was led by Ealing Council, in collaboration with Pitzhanger Manor & Gallery Trust and with the aid of the National Lottery Heritage Fund. On 16 March 2019 Pitzhanger Manor & Gallery re-opened, revealing Soane’s original design for the first time in over 175 years.

Ealing was a local government district from 1863 to 1965 around the town of Ealing which formed part of the built up area of London until 1965, where it became part of Greater London.

Ealing Town hall is a municipal building in New Broadway, Ealing, London. It is a Grade II listed building.

The Victoria Hall, Ealing is a public hall belonging to the west London community of Ealing for their recreational use. It was conceived in 1886 by Charles Jones the first architect, engineer and surveyor of Ealing Council. Its construction next to Ealing Town Hall was funded entirely by public donations and its operations governed by the Victoria Hall Trust, established in 1893. In 2015 the Council announced plans to sell off the Grade II listed building to a development partner on a long lease. The plan led to protests by local residents' groups who called for the Hall to continue to be available for use as a public asset.
