Coliseo of Havana

The Our Lady of Kazan Orthodox Cathedral (Spanish: Catedral Ortodoxa Nuestra Señora de Kazán) (Russian: Православный Собор Богоматери Казанской Transliteration: Pravoslavnyj Sobor Bogomateri Kazanskoj), is a Russian Orthodox cathedral located in historic old town of Havana, Cuba, under the jurisdiction of the Russian Orthodox Church. The temple was built on the shores of Havana Harbour in Old Havana, on the corner of San Pedro Ave. and Santa Clara.

The Alameda de Paula is a promenade in Havana, Cuba, it was the first to be built in the city designed by Antonio Fernández de Trebejos y Zaldívar.

The Basílica Menor of San Francisco de Asís (Minor Basilica of Saint Francis of Assisi) is a Franciscan convent in the district of Old Havana, Cuba. The Lonja del Comercio (Commerce Market) building in Old Havana, Cuba served as the stock exchange in the capital until the 1959 Cuban Revolution. Today, it is an office building.

The Belen Jesuit Preparatory School, moved from Havana to Miami after Fidel coup, was created in the mid 19th century in the facilities of the Convent of Belén of Havana. Currently it houses a residence for the elderly financed by the Office of the Historian of Old Havana.

Havana Harbor is the port of Havana, the capital of Cuba, and it is the main port in Cuba (not including Guantanamo Bay Naval Base, a territory on lease by the United States). Other port cities in Cuba include Cienfuegos, Matanzas, Manzanillo, and Santiago de Cuba. The harbor was created from the natural Havana Bay. It is entered through a narrow inlet and divides into three main harbors: Marimelena, Guanabacoa, and Atarés.

The Archivo Nacional de la República de Cuba is the national archive of Cuba. Founded in 1840, it is located in Havana on Calle Compostela. Directors have included Vidal Morales Morales and Joaquín Llaverías Martínez.
