Silcoates School is a co-educational independent school in the village of Wrenthorpe near Wakefield, England. The school was founded in 1820 as the Northern Congregational School at Silcoates House, for the board and education of the sons of Nonconformist clergy, and was situated close to Ossett and Horbury, each of which had unusually large Nonconformist populations. It was a boys' boarding school until 1995, receiving pupils from around the world. Girls were admitted into the sixth form from 1976, with female boarders accommodated in the Coach House. The school now exists as a co-educational day school with a campus on the border between the villages of Wrenthorpe and Alverthorpe. Silcoates School is made up of three separate, but closely linked, sections: a Senior School for boys and girls aged 11 to 18 (Year 7 to the Upper Sixth Form); a Junior School for boys and girls aged 4 to 11 (Year 1 to Year 6); and Pre-School for boys and girls aged 3 to 4.

St Ignatius' College is a Catholic voluntary aided secondary school for boys aged 11–18 in Enfield, London, England, founded by the Society of Jesus. It was formerly a grammar school, only accepting boys who had passed the Eleven plus exam.

Turkey Street is a London Overground station on the Southbury Loop section of the Lea Valley lines, located in the Bullsmoor area to the north of Enfield in north London. It is adjacent to Waltham Cross in Hertfordshire, located just north past the M25 motorway, and is also entirely attached to nearby Freezywater. As part of a global citizenship initiative, it has a link to Dworzulu School in Accra.An emotional awareness project, which is relatively unusual for special schools, was conducted at the school in 1996.A unit for autistic learners was opened in 2005.

The Bell Inn is a grade II listed former public house in Hertford Road, Enfield Wash, Enfield. The building dates from the second quarter of the 19th century. The facade has a projecting loggia with Roman Doric columns. It later operated under names including Bar FM, Chimes, the Texas Cantina and Club X Zone, and has since housed a Turkish restaurant.

Fern House School (formerly Aylands School) is a coeducational special school for children who have emotional or behavioural difficulties. It was founded in 1969, and provides for up to 40 pupils in year groups 3–16. The present number of children on the roll is 44.

Carterhatch Lane Halt was a railway station built by the Great Eastern Railway in 1916 on the Southbury Loop line to the north east of London in the United Kingdom. The Southbury Loop line was reopened in 1915 for passenger services for munitions workers to access factories in the Lea Valley area however the line closed in 1919.

The area is situated west of the Great Cambridge Road, and south of the M25 motorway. Crews Hill is to the west, Bury Green (near Cheshunt) to the north, and Bullsmoor to the east.

Elsyng Palace (variously also Elsynge, Elsing, Elsings) was a Tudor palace on the site of what are now the grounds of Forty Hall in Enfield, north London. Its exact location was lost for many years until excavations were carried out in the 1960s.

Enfield Wash is an area in the London Borough of Enfield, North London. It is approximately located in the area either side of Hertford Road between Ordnance Road/Turkey Street and Bell Lane/Hoe Lane.

The College has six campuses across the capital, Brooks Farm (Leyton), Crystal Palace Park, Enfield, Gunnersbury Park, Mottingham and Regent’s Park. It has a student body of over 3,000 students that is a mixture of school leavers and adults.
