Bulls Cross

Capel Manor College is a specialist environmental college located in Enfield, London. The College has six campuses across the capital, Brooks Farm (Leyton), Crystal Palace Park, Enfield, Gunnersbury Park, Mottingham and Regent’s Park. It has a student body of over 3,000 students that is a mixture of school leavers and adults.

Silcoates School is a co-educational independent school in the village of Wrenthorpe near Wakefield, England. The school was founded in 1820 as the Northern Congregational School at Silcoates House, for the board and education of the sons of Nonconformist clergy, and was situated close to Ossett and Horbury, each of which had unusually large Nonconformist populations. It was a boys' boarding school until 1995, receiving pupils from around the world. Girls were admitted into the sixth form from 1976, with female boarders accommodated in the Coach House. The school now exists as a co-educational day school with a campus on the border between the villages of Wrenthorpe and Alverthorpe. Silcoates School is made up of three separate, but closely linked, sections: a Senior School for boys and girls aged 11 to 18 (Year 7 to the Upper Sixth Form); a Junior School for boys and girls aged 4 to 11 (Year 1 to Year 6); and Pre-School for boys and girls aged 3 to 4.

St Ignatius' College is a Catholic voluntary aided secondary school for boys aged 11–18 in Enfield, London, England, founded by the Society of Jesus. It was formerly a grammar school, only accepting boys who had passed the Eleven plus exam.

Elsyng Palace (variously also Elsynge, Elsing, Elsings) was a Tudor palace on the site of what are now the grounds of Forty Hall in Enfield, north London. Its exact location was lost for many years until excavations were carried out in the 1960s.

Western Cemetery is a Jewish cemetery at Bulls Cross Ride in Cheshunt in the Borough of Broxbourne, Hertfordshire EN7 5HT, England. It was established as the cemetery of the Western (now Western Marble Arch) Synagogue, as well as the independent West End Great Synagogue. It is now run by the Western Charitable Foundation, which extends burial rights to the Jewish Joint Burial Society, Liberal Judaism and Waltham Forest Hebrew Congregation. It has two prayer halls – The Barnett Ohel, dating from 1967, and the Gee Ohel. Notable interments include the grave of leading writer and theologian Rabbi Louis Jacobs (1920–2006), the founder of Masorti (Conservative) Judaism in the UK, who is buried alongside his wife Sophie (Shulamit) (1921–2005).

Theobalds House (also known as Theobalds Palace) in the parish of Cheshunt in the English county of Hertfordshire, was a significant stately home and (later) royal palace of the 16th and early 17th centuries. Set in extensive parkland, it was a residence of statesmen Lord Burghley and his son, both leading royal advisers. James I enjoyed staying so much he acquired it from the Cecil family, further extending house and park. It was a notable example of the Elizabethan prodigy house, but was demolished as a result of the English Civil War. A new mansion known as The Cedars was built farther to the West in 1763: the house and park were then acquired and the house extended by millionaire brewers the Meux family. London's Temple Bar Gate was preserved and stood in the park from 1880 to 2003, when it was moved back to London. The mansion, which became Middlesex County Council Secondary School and then Theobalds Park College is now part of a hotel and members club known as Birch; the house is a Grade II* listed building.

Enfield Crematorium is a cemetery located on the Great Cambridge Road, Enfield, London. It was opened in 1938 and consists of 50 acres (20 ha) of land, most of which is dedicated to the gardens of remembrance. The crematorium is a local listed red brick building.

Forty Hall is a manor house of the 1620s in Forty Hill in Enfield, north London. The house, a Grade I listed building, is today used as a museum by the London Borough of Enfield. Within the grounds is the site of the former Tudor Elsyng Palace.

Bullsmoor is an area of Enfield, on the outskirts of north London, located in the historic county of Middlesex. It is adjacent to Waltham Cross in Hertfordshire, located just north past the M25 motorway, and is also entirely attached to nearby Freezywater. Bulls Cross is to the west and Enfield Lock to the east. Turkey Street is the local railway station.

Turkey Street is a London Overground station on the Southbury Loop section of the Lea Valley lines, located in the Bullsmoor area to the north of Enfield in north London. It is 12 miles 16 chains (19.6 km) down the line from London Liverpool Street and is situated between Southbury and Theobalds Grove.

Forty Hill is a largely residential suburb in the north of the London Borough of Enfield, England. To the north is Bulls Cross, to the south Enfield Town, to the west Clay Hill, and to the east Enfield Highway. It is in the historic county of Middlesex.

Theobalds Brook is a minor tributary of the River Lea which rises in the hills south of Goffs Oak in Hertfordshire, England.
