Skating Club of Boston

Ice Chips is The Skating Club of Boston's annual figure skating show held in Boston, Massachusetts. Originating in 1912, Ice Chips is said to be the longest running club-produced ice show in the world. The show is a two-day event which takes place each spring, showcasing national, international and Olympic champions from around the world. In recent years the show has been held at Harvard University, attracting thousands of spectators each year.

The Skating Club of Boston Rink is an indoor ice skating venue located along the Charles River in the Boston suburbs. The rink was the home of the Skating Club of Boston for over 80 years and was also used as an ice hockey rink.

German International School Boston (GISB) is a private, bilingual (German/English), international school in Boston, Massachusetts. This German school abroad (Deutsche Auslandsschule) was established in 2001 and officially inaugurated by Former German President Johannes Rau. The School's name changed from “German School Boston” to “German International School Boston.” The school moved to its current location in 2006. It serves over 300 students, ages 2.9 through grade 12. Students who complete the program receive the German International Abitur and a high school diploma. In 2011, the Bundesverwaltungsamt (BVA) recognized GISB as an Exzellente Auslandsschule (German School Abroad of Excellence), the highest accreditation level awarded. GISB is recognized locally as an Affiliate Member of the Association of Independent Schools of New England. In the 2015–2016 school year, GISB was recognized as a STEM-friendly School and became part of a network of German schools with a STEM focus.

The Charles River Speedway was a former bicycle and harness racing track located in Allston, Massachusetts.

Engine House No. 34 is a historic fire station at 444 Western Avenue near the corner of Waverly Street in the Brighton neighborhood of Boston, Massachusetts. The station, a 2+1⁄2-story brick and brownstone structure, was designed by Charles Bateman and built in 1888. It is one of a small number of Richardson Romanesque structures in the neighborhood, and features an engine entrance recessed behind a large round arch set asymmetrically on the main facade. The roof is gabled, although it has a hipped section above, with a large hipped projection to the left.The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1985.

Boston Landing station is an MBTA Commuter Rail station in Boston, Massachusetts, United States. It serves the Framingham/Worcester Line. It is located in the Brighton neighborhood just west of the Everett Street bridge, next to the Massachusetts Turnpike. It serves the Allston-Brighton area as well as the Boston Landing development including Warrior Ice Arena. The station is fully accessible, with a single full-length high-level island platform. Elevators and stairs lead to Arthur Street and to the Everett Street bridge. The station, which was officially announced on June 7, 2012, is the result of discussions dating back to 1998. It was then projected to cost $16 million and to serve as many as 2400 daily riders by 2030. It is an infill station, since commuter rail trains passed frequently on existing tracks through the site. In November 2012, New Balance announced their intention to open the station in 2014. However, in May 2014, the expected opening was pushed back to the fall of 2016. The new station is being financed by New Balance under a public-private partnership agreement. Prior to a May 2013 renaming, the proposed station project was known as New Brighton Landing. A groundbreaking ceremony for the $20 million station was held on May 12, 2015. The station opened on May 22, 2017.

Shady Hill School is an independent, co-educational day school in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Founded in 1915, Shady Hill serves students in pre-kindergarten (called 'Beginners' by the school) through 8th grade. The school has an enrollment of approximately 500 students. Mark Stanek became the school's sixth director in 2010; he was a math teacher and a former Head of School at Ethical Culture Fieldston School in New York. Former Director Bruce Shaw stepped down in June 2010.

Mad Oak Studios is a recording studio located in Allston, Massachusetts neighborhood of Boston, United States. It was established in the year 2000 by Craig Riggs and Frank Pagliughi, who were later joined by PK Pandey and long-time head engineer Benny Grotto as co-owners.

Jordan Field (formerly called Soldiers Field Soccer Stadium) is a multi-purpose stadium on the campus of Harvard University in the Allston neighborhood of Boston. (Although the core of the Harvard campus is in Cambridge, the athletic complex lies within Boston.) It first opened in September 2010 and replaced Ohiri Field as the primary home of the Harvard Crimson men's and women's soccer teams. It hosted a 2010 playoff match for the Boston Breakers of the Women's Professional Soccer league due to conflicts with the team's former primary home, Harvard Stadium.In June 2013, the New England Revolution played host to the New York Red Bulls in a US Open Cup Round-of-16 game, marking the first time in Revolution history the team played a game within the Boston city limits.Renovations were completed in early 2015, and it was the official home stadium and training venue of the Boston Breakers from 2015 to 2017.

The Charles River Reservation (Speedway)-Upper Basin Headquarters (Speedway Headquarters) is located at the corner of Western Avenue and Soldiers Field Road in the Brighton neighborhood of Boston, Massachusetts. It is a complex of seven buildings designed by architect William D. Austin in the Shingle and Colonial Revival styles and built between 1899 and 1940. The site served as the headquarters of the State-managed Charles River Reservation and as horse stables for the Charles River Speedway, a harness and bicycle racing track along present-day Soldiers Field Road. The Massachusetts Department of Conservation and Recreation (DCR) owns the Speedway Headquarters and considers it to be one of its origin properties. Vacant since 2005, the property was redeveloped as a mixed-use commercial and cultural facility beginning in 2019 under DCR's Historic Curatorship Program by the Boston-based Architectural Heritage Foundation. The Speedway opened in 2021.

The Joseph Holmes House is an historic house at 144 Coolidge Hill Street in Cambridge, Massachusetts. The 2+1⁄2-story wood-frame house was built in 1801 by John Holmes, father of Joseph Holmes. It was originally located on Appian Way in Harvard Square, and was moved to its present location in 1929, at which time an ell was also added. It is a well-preserved yet unpretentious Federal-style house, a rarity in "Old Cambridge", where such houses were once quite common. This house is not particularly pretentious, with a five-bay facade and center entrance, and is set sideways on its narrow lot.The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983.

Joseph J. O'Donnell Field is a baseball venue in Boston, Massachusetts, United States. It is home to the Harvard Crimson baseball team of Harvard University. Formerly known as Soldier's Field, the location has been home to Harvard baseball since 1898. The venue is named for Joseph J. O'Donnell, a Harvard alumnus who played baseball and football while attending the school. It has a capacity of 1,600 spectators.
