Ice Chips is The Skating Club of Boston's annual figure skating show held in Boston, Massachusetts. Originating in 1912, Ice Chips is said to be the longest running club-produced ice show in the world. The show is a two-day event which takes place each spring, showcasing national, international and Olympic champions from around the world. In recent years the show has been held at Harvard University, attracting thousands of spectators each year.

The Skating Club of Boston is a not-for-profit figure skating club based in Norwood, Massachusetts. Founded in 1912, it is one of the oldest skating clubs in the United States, and a founding member of U.S. Figure Skating, the governing body for the sport in the United States. The Club's mission is to advance participation, education and excellence in skating for people of all ages, abilities and means. The Club has over 800 active members and offers a variety of programs for the public, reaching another 2,000 children and adults. The club built its own rink in Brighton, Massachusetts in 1938 and remained there until moving to the Norwood facility in 2020. In addition, in a public private partnership with the City of Boston's Parks & Recreation Department, the Club manages the programming and facilities for The Frog Pond located at Boston Common on a year-round basis.

The Skating Club of Boston Rink is an indoor ice skating venue located along the Charles River in the Boston suburbs. The rink was the home of the Skating Club of Boston for over 80 years and was also used as an ice hockey rink.

Jordan Field (formerly called Soldiers Field Soccer Stadium) is a multi-purpose stadium on the campus of Harvard University in the Allston neighborhood of Boston. (Although the core of the Harvard campus is in Cambridge, the athletic complex lies within Boston.) It first opened in September 2010 and replaced Ohiri Field as the primary home of the Harvard Crimson men's and women's soccer teams. It hosted a 2010 playoff match for the Boston Breakers of the Women's Professional Soccer league due to conflicts with the team's former primary home, Harvard Stadium.In June 2013, the New England Revolution played host to the New York Red Bulls in a US Open Cup Round-of-16 game, marking the first time in Revolution history the team played a game within the Boston city limits.Renovations were completed in early 2015, and it was the official home stadium and training venue of the Boston Breakers from 2015 to 2017.

Joseph J. O'Donnell Field is a baseball venue in Boston, Massachusetts, United States. It is home to the Harvard Crimson baseball team of Harvard University. Formerly known as Soldier's Field, the location has been home to Harvard baseball since 1898. The venue is named for Joseph J. O'Donnell, a Harvard alumnus who played baseball and football while attending the school. It has a capacity of 1,600 spectators.

The Eliot Bridge is a bridge over the Charles River between Cambridge, Massachusetts and Allston, Boston, Massachusetts. It connects Soldiers Field Road in Allston with Gerry's Landing Road, Memorial Drive, Greenough Boulevard, and the Fresh Pond Parkway in Cambridge. The bridge was built in 1950 as a memorial to Charles W. Eliot, Harvard president 1869–1909, and his son Charles Eliot, landscape architect for the Metropolitan Park Commission.

German International School Boston (GISB) is a private, bilingual (German/English), international school in Boston, Massachusetts. This German school abroad (Deutsche Auslandsschule) was established in 2001 and officially inaugurated by Former German President Johannes Rau. The School's name changed from “German School Boston” to “German International School Boston.” The school moved to its current location in 2006. It serves over 300 students, ages 2.9 through grade 12. Students who complete the program receive the German International Abitur and a high school diploma. In 2011, the Bundesverwaltungsamt (BVA) recognized GISB as an Exzellente Auslandsschule (German School Abroad of Excellence), the highest accreditation level awarded. GISB is recognized locally as an Affiliate Member of the Association of Independent Schools of New England. In the 2015–2016 school year, GISB was recognized as a STEM-friendly School and became part of a network of German schools with a STEM focus.

Shady Hill School is an independent, co-educational day school in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Founded in 1915, Shady Hill serves students in pre-kindergarten (called 'Beginners' by the school) through 8th grade. The school has an enrollment of approximately 500 students. Mark Stanek became the school's sixth director in 2010; he was a math teacher and a former Head of School at Ethical Culture Fieldston School in New York. Former Director Bruce Shaw stepped down in June 2010.

The Cambridge Boat Club is a private, non-profit, rowing club on the Charles River in Cambridge, Massachusetts, United States of America. Founded on April 7, 1909 by Cambridge residents as an athletic and social resource, Cambridge Boat Club quickly established itself in the rowing community.When the club opened, it already had membership of over 100, and that number has crept up over the past century. Originally on the North Bank of the Charles near Hawthorne Street, the club moved to its present location at Gerry’s Landing in 1947. In 1965, Cambridge Boat Club members founded the Head of the Charles Regatta, and it has been managed by the Club since. Cambridge Boat Club offers many learn-to-row opportunities, quality equipment, and coaching for members of all levels. Many members of the club are former world champions, olympians, and well-known coaches.

Harvard Stadium is a U-shaped college football stadium in the northeast United States, located in the Allston neighborhood of Boston, Massachusetts. The stadium is owned and operated by Harvard University and is home to the Harvard Crimson football program. The stadium's seating capacity is 30,323.Built in 1903, it was a pioneering execution of reinforced concrete in the construction of large structures. Because of its early importance in these areas, and its influence on the design of later stadiums, it was designated a National Historic Landmark in 1987. The stadium is the nation's oldest permanent concrete structure dedicated to intercollegiate athletics. It seated up to 57,166 in the past, as permanent steel stands (completing a straight-sided oval) were installed in the stadium's northeast end zone in 1929. They were torn down after the 1951 season, due to deterioration and reduced attendance. Afterward, there were smaller temporary steel bleachers across the stadium's open end until the building of the Murr Center (which is topped by the new scoreboard) in 1998. Harvard Stadium hosted one Boston Patriots season in 1970. It was their first season in the NFL after the AFL–NFL merger and their last before becoming the New England Patriots. The team moved to Schaefer Stadium in Foxborough the following season.

The Bright-Landry Hockey Center is a 3,095-seat ice-hockey arena in the Allston neighborhood of Boston, Massachusetts, United States. It is home to the Harvard University Crimson men's and women's ice hockey teams. It is named for Alec Bright '19, a former hockey player. In 1956, the Donald C. Watson Rink was opened just north of Harvard Stadium at Soldiers Field, the area in the Allston neighborhood of Boston used by Harvard athletics, just across the Charles River from campus. The rink held approximately 2,000 people, but did not have many modern amenities. When plans were made to upgrade facilities, the $5-million cost became prohibitive, and the decision was made to renovate Watson Rink. In 1978, following the hockey season, the walls were removed and the roof was extended before the new arena itself was installed. After a season without a full-time home, the "new" arena opened on November 19, 1979, with an exhibition between Harvard and the 1980 USA Olympic hockey team. In November 2006, Bright Arena was home to the 2006 Friendship Cup, the Cup's debut year. Team USA Alumni, Team Canada Alumni, Team Gazprom and the Boston Bruins Alumni team all participated in the event. The Bruins defeated Team USA, while Gazprom defeated Team Canada. The arena was also home to the Boston Pride of the National Women's Hockey League for the 2015–16 NWHL season in which the Pride won the Isobel Cup Championship. The Bright-Landry Center, when used for ice hockey, shares a design quirk with the Bruins' still-standing "original" home rink, today's Northeastern University-located Matthews Arena - the opposing team's benches at the Bright-Landry Center exist on opposing sides of the rink, just as they also did in the 20th century Boston Garden (1928-1995) for ice hockey games.

Engine House No. 34 is a historic fire station at 444 Western Avenue near the corner of Waverly Street in the Brighton neighborhood of Boston, Massachusetts. The station, a 2+1⁄2-story brick and brownstone structure, was designed by Charles Bateman and built in 1888. It is one of a small number of Richardson Romanesque structures in the neighborhood, and features an engine entrance recessed behind a large round arch set asymmetrically on the main facade. The roof is gabled, although it has a hipped section above, with a large hipped projection to the left.The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1985.
