Gilmore Avenue is a main road in Quezon City, Metro Manila, the Philippines. It runs one-way from Eulogio Rodriguez Sr. Avenue in New Manila and terminates at Nicanor Domingo Street in Valencia, continuing on as the two-way Granada Street until it reaches the city border with San Juan, where it becomes Ortigas Avenue. The road is named for Eugene Allen Gilmore, Vice Governor-General of the Philippines from 1922 to 1929 who twice served as acting Governor-General.The one-way, two-lane road segment from Eulogio Rodriguez Sr. Avenue to Aurora Boulevard within New Manila is notorious for many vehicular accidents, with an average of 0.1 to 0.3 accidents per day. Many of these accidents are attributed towards overspeeding as a result of the wide single-direction lane width, and due to poor visibility during night time.

St. Paul University Quezon City, also referred to as SPUQC or SPU Quezon City, is a private, sectarian and coeducational university located in New Manila, Quezon City. It was previously an all-girls' school and turned co-ed beginning school year 2006-2007. Situated on a gentle slope of what was originally known as the New Manila Subdivisions, the SPUQC campus now occupies an entire block bordered by Aurora Boulevard, Gilmore Avenue, 3rd Street, and Doña Hemady Avenue in Mariana, Quezon City. It has earned Level III accreditation on all of its respective departments and schools. Gilmore station is a station on the Manila Light Rail Transit System Line 2 in the Philippines located near Gilmore Avenue, Quezon City in Mariana, Quezon City. It is named after the nearby Gilmore Avenue, which in turn is named for Eugene Allen Gilmore, Vice Governor-General of the Philippines from 1922 to 1929 who twice served as acting Governor-General of the Philippines.The station is the sixth station for trains headed to Antipolo and the eighth station for trains headed to Recto. It is one of the many elevated stations on the line.

Betty Go-Belmonte Street is a street running through the New Manila district of Quezon City, Philippines. It is a notable road in a generally northwest-southeast orientation between the junction with E. Rodriguez Sr. Avenue in New Manila and the junction with N. Domingo Street also in New Manila. It is served by Betty Go-Belmonte station of the Manila Line 2. The street was named after a notable Filipino journalist who was an institution with her contributions in the writing press during the Martial Law period as well as one of the founders of two of the major broadsheet newspaper in the country namely The Philippine Daily Inquirer and The Philippine Star. She was also the wife of former Quezon City Mayor and House Speaker Feliciano Belmonte Jr.Until 1997, the street located in Mariana and Immaculate Conception was called Valley Road. In 2016, a resolution was passed by the Quezon City Council to name the full length of the street to N. Domingo Street as Betty Go-Belmonte Street.

Dedicated to Our Lady of Mount Carmel, the church was built by the Carmelites from 1954 to 1964. It was declared a parish in 1975, and a national shrine in 2015. In 2019, it was declared a minor basilica, making it the fifteenth minor basilica in the country.The church celebrates its liturgical feast every July 16. It is under the jurisdiction of the Diocese of Cubao.

The Congregation of the Religious of the Virgin Mary (Spanish: La Cofradía de Hermanas de Religiosa de la Virgen María; postnominals: RVM) is a Roman Catholic ecclesiastical community of pontifical right founded in Manila in 1684 by the Filipina Venerable Mother Ignacia del Espíritu Santo. In 2016 there were over 700 RVM sisters, mainly from the Philippines. They run a university and 58 other schools and have works in seven countries outside the Philippines. The station during its inception was formerly called as "Boston Station" but was renamed into the current name due to the minor realignment of some stations (the other being V. Mapa) that has caused the change of proximity to the Betty Go-Belmonte Street. The station is located in New Manila in Quezon City and is named after Betty Go-Belmonte, the late wife of House Speaker Feliciano Belmonte Jr. and the founder of The Philippine Star.The station is the seventh station for trains headed to both Antipolo and Recto stations.

Kalayaan College (or KC) is a private, four-year college formerly located in Marikina that has since moved to Quezon City. It was established in 2000 and is accredited by the Philippine Commission on Higher Education. Kalayaan College is on Manga Road cor Aurora Blvd, near the Line 2 Betty Go-Belmonte. It was established by big names in academic institutions. The college's president, Dr. José Abueva, is a former president of the University of the Philippines. The college follows UP's curriculum, such as the grading system for students (where 1.00 is the highest and 5.00 is the lowest or failing grade). Most of the professors are members of UP's faculty. Nowadays, new faculty members are UP graduates.

Cubao Cathedral (formal title: The Immaculate Conception Cathedral of Cubao), is a Roman Catholic cathedral located in Quezon City, Metro Manila, the Philippines. It is the episcopal seat of the Roman Catholic Bishop of Cubao; built in 1950 by the Society of the Divine Word, and belonged to the order until 1990, when the Archdiocese of Manila took over its administration.
