Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church (Quezon City)

Mount Carmel Shrine, also known as Minor Basilica of the National Shrine of Our Lady of Mount Carmel (Filipino: Basilika Minor ng Pambansang Dambana ng Mahal na Birhen ng Bundok ng Carmelo), (Spanish: Basilica Menor de Santuario Nacional de Nuestra Señora del Monte Carmelo), is a Roman Catholic minor basilica and national shrine located in Barangay Mariana, Quezon City, Metro Manila in the Philippines. Dedicated to Our Lady of Mount Carmel, the church opened in 1964 after a decade of construction. It was declared a parish church in 1975 and a national shrine in 2015. In 2019, it was declared a minor basilica, making it the fifteenth minor basilica in the country.The church celebrates its liturgical feast every July 16. It is under the jurisdiction of the Diocese of Cubao under the Vicariate of the Holy Family.

Gilmore station is a station on the Manila Light Rail Transit System Line 2 in the Philippines located near Gilmore Avenue, Quezon City in Mariana, Quezon City. It is named after the nearby Gilmore Avenue, which in turn is named for Eugene Allen Gilmore, Vice Governor-General of the Philippines from 1922 to 1929 who twice served as acting Governor-General of the Philippines.The station is the sixth station for trains headed to Antipolo and the eighth station for trains headed to Recto. It is one of the many elevated stations on the line.

It runs one-way from Eulogio Rodriguez Sr. Avenue in New Manila and terminates at Nicanor Domingo Street in Valencia, continuing on as the two-way Granada Street until it reaches the city border with San Juan, where it becomes Ortigas Avenue. The road is named for Eugene Allen Gilmore, Vice Governor-General of the Philippines from 1922 to 1929 who twice served as acting Governor-General.The one-way, two-lane road segment from Eulogio Rodriguez Sr. Avenue to Aurora Boulevard within New Manila is notorious for many vehicular accidents, with an average of 0.1 to 0.3 accidents per day. Many of these accidents are attributed towards overspeeding as a result of the wide single-direction lane width, and due to poor visibility during night time.

St. Paul University Quezon City, also referred to as SPUQC or SPU Quezon City, is a private, sectarian and coeducational university located in New Manila, Quezon City. It was previously an all-girls' school and turned co-ed beginning school year 2006-2007. Situated on a gentle slope of what was originally known as the New Manila Subdivisions, the SPUQC campus now occupies an entire block bordered by Aurora Boulevard, Gilmore Avenue, 3rd Street, and Doña Hemady Avenue in Mariana, Quezon City. In June 2006, SPUQC started to open its doors to young men who desire to undergo their college education and formation in St. Paul University of Quezon City. The High School Department followed suit when the first set of graduates from the co-ed Grade School enrolled in the High School in June 2008. Its sister school St. Paul College Pasig remained an exclusive all-girls school. St. Paul University of Quezon City is recognized by the Department of Education and the Commission on Higher Education and also a charter member of the Philippine Accrediting Association of Schools, Colleges and Universities (PAASCU). It has earned Level III accreditation on all of its respective departments and schools. J. Ruiz station is a station on the Manila Light Rail Transit System Line 2. J. Ruiz station is one of the many elevated stations that can be found on the line. The station is located in San Juan and is named because of its location on J. Ruiz Street. J. Ruiz station is the fifth station for trains headed to Antipolo and the ninth station for trains headed to Recto. It is the only station in San Juan and is close to the borders of Quezon City before entering Manila. It is named after Juan Ruiz, a Katipunero who took part in the siege of El Polvorin, where the Pinaglabanan Shrine is located.

Mariana, is an administrative division in eastern Metro Manila, the Philippines. It is an urban barangay in Quezon City in a middle class residential and commercial area known as New Manila, which includes Barangay Mariana and the adjacent Barangay Damayang Lagi.The barangay's land boundaries are defined by the España Boulevard Extension (now E. Rodriguez Sr. Avenue), Ilang-ilang Street, Rosario Drive, Victoria Avenue, and Aurora Boulevard, while its water boundaries are defined by the Salapan Creek (also known as the Ermitaño Creek).It is bordered by Barangay Damayang Lagi to the west, Barangays Kalusugan, and Kristong Hari to the north, Barangay Immaculate Concepcion to the east, Barangays Kaunlaran and Valencia to the south, and San Juan's Barangay Ermitaño to the southwest.

Juan Ruiz Street or shortened into J. Ruiz Street is a street located in San Juan, Philippines. It runs in a generally north-south orientation between the junction with A. Luna Street and the intersection with N. Domingo Street and connects the barangays Balong Bato and Salapan in San Juan. It is served by J. Ruiz station of the LRT Line 2. The street was named after one of the first 18 Katipuneros from San Juan that fought and died in the First Battle of Katipunan in Pinaglabanan which is also located in San Juan.

The Center for Asian Culinary Studies (CACS) is a non-stock, non-profit culinary school located in San Juan, Metro Manila, and in Davao City, Philippines. It was established in 2000 in Manila by Gene Gonzalez and in 2007, in Davao City. It is in consortium with the De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde. It is the first culinary school in the Philippines to earn a Level IV accreditation in their Professional Program granted by the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA). It is the only culinary school with this certificate in education.

Granada Street, also known as Senator Jose O. Vera Street, is a road in Quezon City, Metro Manila, the Philippines. It runs from Nicanor Domingo Street as an extension of Gilmore Avenue to the boundary with San Juan, where it terminates at Bonny Serrano Avenue and becomes Ortigas Avenue.

The Filoil Flying V Centre, formerly Filoil Flying V Arena and The Arena in San Juan, also known as the Entertainment and Recreational Arena of the People (initials taken after former mayor and president Joseph Estrada's nickname 'Erap'), is an indoor sporting arena located in Santolan Road Bonny Serrano Avenue, Corazon de Jesus, San Juan, Metro Manila, Philippines. The Centre plays host to the basketball games of the Philippine Basketball League, the National Collegiate Athletic Association, the University Athletic Association of the Philippines since 2009, the Filoil Flying V Preseason Cup, Philippine Collegiate Champions League, Maharlika Pilipinas Basketball League, as well as the volleyball games of the Premier Volleyball League. It is also one of the secondary home court of Alab Pilipinas in the ASEAN Basketball League. It is also known as the "Volleyball Central" of the Philippines, as the Centre served as the main venue for volleyball tournaments such as UAAP, NCAA, Philippine Super Liga and Premier Volleyball League. The Center was also used as a main venue for the San Juan Mayor's Cup, a basketball and volleyball tournament for the San Juan government employees. Filoil Flying V entered in a naming rights agreement with the San Juan city government, changing the arena's name into "Filoil Flying V Arena" (renamed into Filoil Flying V Centre in 2016). It was the first such agreement in the Philippines since the San Andres Gym in Malate, Manila lent naming rights to FedEx's sister company Mail And More in 2000. Currently, it is one of two sporting venues in the Philippines to named after an external naming rights partner, the other being the Smart Araneta Coliseum. In 2015, the San Juan government signed a 15-year deal with Homegrown Olympic Management Enterprises (Filoil Flying V Sports), the organizer of the Filoil Flying V Preseason Cup that which be helmed the day-by-day operations and management of the centre. Among the HOME's plans is to convert the Centre into a complete events venue and add a new structure for restaurants and business establishments. The notable religious events held in San Juan Arena are 2013 Shalom 3-day Lenten Retreat with Fr. Archie Guiriba OFM, 2016 National Prayer Gathering of Intercessors for the Philippines and recently last Feb. 2020, the 20th anniversary of Greenhills Chapter of Jesus is Lord Church Worldwide
